Greydore, I feel like that’s what goes on with me too lol
Mommy2apples, wow! You lost a lot of weight! You go girl! That must’ve been so hard!!!! What a huge accomplishment! That’s amazing! You look beautiful!
Yankeesgirl, nothing was appetizing to me either, so I’d keep consciously chosen healthy foods on hand and just put them in my mouth and chew them just to keep the nausea at bay and it actually helped
DreamingRainbow, thank you, you’re right. Ive always been my worst critic lol

Ladies im so worried. I had a scan this am. Baby has a heartbeat, I got to see baby moving and is progressing/growing as it should. However, the midwife asked me if I'd had any bleeding (I havent). There is blood (I can't remember if she said blood or bleeding) above uterus. She said there are 3 outcomes - 1.body reabsorbs blood as baby grows, 2. I bleed but blood bypasses baby or 3.i bleed and the pressure dislodges baby and I miscarry. I'm going out of my mind with worry.
Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Aww yay Bunny!! ❤️
Thanks Ellirosanne, was determined if it meant I would get my healthy rainbow baby! I like myself better actually. Feel a lot more confident. It was nice last summer to be able to get out in the yard and play with my children without losing my air too! That’s my favorite part! Aww your perfect scan!! [emoji7]
Dreaming. I just said a prayer for you. Many women havea hematoma and everything turns out just fine. Baby is a doll! [emoji7]
Mlka I usually have mine at 39 weeks due to repeat csections.

Dreaming those bleeds aren’t uncommon and most go on to have healthy pregnancies, but I don’t know the details of yours. You will definitely be in my thoughts. Also, our bubs look almost exactly the same, so sweet! I think our due dates are close? (Mine’s 8/8).

Thanks for the prayers mommy2apples.
Greydore yep we're due same time I'm 7th Aug.
I've just has my appointment with consultant and he has reassured me a little. He said I need to rest where possible, no exercise but that I can continue working but have to take it easy. He said most of these absorb into body by 12 weeks and as I'm not bleeding this is a good sign.
I have another scan in 2 weeks so fingers crossed this little warrier stays to join our family x

DreamingRainbow, I’m sorry that you got such scary news, nothing is worse than scary news. Honestly, the way you describe what she saw, it sounds just like a subchorionic hemorrhage. For some reason it seems like a lot of women who get IVF also get a subchorionic hemorrhage. I don’t think you had IVF though if I recall correctly. It seems really common with IVF. Most of the time it seems to pass on its own leaving the pregnancy intact. I had one with my second child.Did she have any recommendations for you? I will keep you and your baby in my thoughts and prayers

anyone else having insomnia yet? i have not even had a nap last few days and i still can't fall asleep before 1am :( hubby has gone back to work after xmas break so i have 4 year old, 8 year old and 11 and 14 year olds home . lucky the older ones can supervise if i do close my eyes on the couch lol
everyones NT scans are so close or done already wow i thought it was dragging but i'm sure this pregnancy will go fast . mine isn't until the 11th I had PGD testing on the embryo but they said to be 100% i will have the screening anyway ...
Wow Grace you are busy!! You will have a lot of help with the new baby! I love big families.
I go to sleep so easily now BUT I wake up a lot during the night and it's not easy to go back asleep. I had insomnia really bad the first few weeks of this pregnancy and I'm not that fatigued which I hope continues.
I hope it gets better for you!

Dreaming, I have the same thing! That's the reason I've been spotting throughout my pregnancy. Just last week, I used the bathroom and when I wiped there was a big clot. It scared the crap out of me! Baby is doing fine though and the hematoma is not growing so I'm praying for the best. I'm sure everything will be fine with you. Beautiful baby!!!

Hi ladies,
Ellirosanne yes you are correct I conceived naturally.thabk god we have no issue conceiving, it's keeping the baby is our issue. And yes I'm pretty sure it's called sch as u called it.
Mlka it's so nice to finally speak to someone who has it also - although I'm sorry u have it! I've never experienced this before and I'm petrified this will cause me to lose the baby. I haven't bled and hope i dont!
Were you given any advice?
I was told to take it easy and rest as much as I can and No excessive walking. But that was it? I spent most of last night on Dr Google and it advises no lifting above 10lbs- that's hard for my 3 and 2 year olds- esp the youngest as I have to lift her I to the car, buggy, couch etc.
My gp signed me off work next week as I seem to have yet another infection which I'm hoping isn't flu! So I will rest as much as I can next week. I need to do everything I can to help this heal. I cannot lose this baby.
We're you given any other recommendations? Oh, I also read that pommergranate juice helps the placenta stick to the wall so I'm going to buy shares in the stuff tomorrow![emoji4]

DreamingRainbow, Luckily most subchorionic hemmorhages reasborb into the body on their own from what I understand. I will definitely keep praying for you and keeping you in my thoughts. And to have an infection on top of it, you poor thing! Get lots of rest sweetie!

Dreaming - I'm so sorry to hear about the infection! I really hope you are able to rest up this weekend...I know it can be hard with the little ones. Hopefully you have some help. The doctor told me all the same things - to take it easy and rest as much as possible. No sex and no exercise. I spotted for the first few weeks of my pregnancy and then off and on since then...I started bleeding in the mall all of a sudden a couple weeks ago. I was doing a lot of Christmas shopping that day so I had to take it easy. And the day I had the clotting I was extra stressed. Nothing since then so I'm trying to stay stress-free. Hubby has been doing a great job of helping out. It's really scary and I'm trying not to worry. They didn't see any blood at my last scan so I'm hoping it just reabsorbed already...it certainly hasn't grown, which is what they worry about.
I really hope you feel better soon!! Try not to worry - believe me that is SO much easier said than done. I try to stay busy and keep my mind occupied. I still have fear every time I use the bathroom though...it never ends.

Thanks so much ladies! I'm feeling a little better, the inhalers must be kicking in. My nausea is completely gone although my sense of smell is still crazy sensitive. I'm just so worried and it's next to impossible to think of anything else!
Dh is great at helping but between work and studying for his masters, he does t have a lot of time either. My youngest seems to be ill too woth a temp of 40°C so it's been a good excuse today to relax on the couch with her and catch up with peppe pig! [emoji4]
Mlka I'm so delighted for you that they couldn't see the bleed on latest scan. Hopefully it has healed completely for u. I have read that the bleeding is blood vessels which have been irritated or I hired and so they bleed (lime any wound) and so it makes sense to rest and let the blood vessels heal. Wish they had explained it like that to me as it makes it a little bit less scary. Fingers and toes crossed!

Dreaming I’m sorry to read your news. I too had a clot with my second and it did eventually absorb. I was put on bed rest, no exercise, no sex, no heavy lifting.... and I followed it. Mine absorbed by about 12 weeks but wasn’t completely gone until 18. Bleeding is SO common and lots of people have it. My advise is rest as much as possible. Easy said than done.
Great to hear your nausea has gone! That’s a win.
MLka, great to hear your bleeding has stopped. Must have scared you seeing the clot but at least it’s passed.
