Oh Greydore, he's beautiful! I can't believe he's finally here, too! All of you having your babies fills me with such a bittersweet feeling since I had a baby due every month of this EDD group, but I am so happy to see you all getting your healthy kids! The passage of time can be both so cruel and so relieving!

Mommy she is a sweetheart x if only pregnancy went as quickly as the weeks seem to once they are born! Especially their 1st year. (Especially when they are your last baby :( )

I’m feeling very sad today. My husband says he wants this to be the last baby. He’s said this after pretty much every kid, but this time it’s really upsetting me, like he may actually follow through with a vasectomy. I still don’t feel “done” with having kids yet and want the option there even if we don’t end up having more. I’ve always wanted 8 kids and I’m not there yet, so I think that’s part of it. That, and I feel like the decision is being forced on me instead of me having a say in it. The only thing that works in my favor here is that my husband is deathly afraid to have it done and never makes any appointments.

I’m working on it. He just says 7 is a lot of kids and he doesn’t like people judging him for it. Not really good reasons for me. We can afford more and I provide all the majority of their care, like minimum 85% of it. My kids love being in a big family and are already talking about when we’ll have the next one. I’ve already said I’d get my tubes removed after having #8 if we did.

Yes it shouldn’t matter what people think. It’s your family. They are well provided for. Don’t stop unless you are happy or your never be happy. I understand though we get judged for our five. I sure don’t regret it either.

Ladies, baby finally arrived safely into the world and ITS A BOY!!!
We have named him Luke. He was born weighing a heavyweight 8lb 7oz on 11th August (4 days late!!)
Labour was super quick (thankfully). My waters broke around 9:30am and Luke arrived at 10:24 after 3 pushes. The midwife literally caught him !
After a very long, anxiety filled 9 months, we are just besotted with this amazing little dude!

It’s hard balancing with 3, but it does get easier!
We are doing good, my kids have been in school for a couple weeks now and the oldest three really love it. My youngest two keep me busy at home. Emmalyn is 2 months old now. I hate how fast time flies. I have a 9th grader, 4th grader, kindergartener, a 3 year old, and then baby girl. It’s so crazy.
