Welcome Girl dreaming! Congrats![emoji322]

I had my scan today!!!! Heartbeat present. Thank God. I got so emotional for some reason. Smh, I know why - it’s because I made a conscious effort to pretend I wasn’t pregnant because I thought it’d prepare me better for disappointment.
Wow this feels so surreal. I’m in the parking lot while typing this. I can’t quite believe it. Baby measuring slightly ahead by 2 days or so.
Unfortunately, cheeky wee one wouldn’t get into position for the NT so I’ll have to go back for bloods and a scan in about 3 weeks.
Hope everyone’s keeping well. Hopefully I can be on here more as my energy levels increase. Xx

Ps: lovely to see pbn3 on our thread. [emoji177][emoji177]

Awe so sorry for your loss! How did you lose your daughter? I can't even imagine how hard that must have been. So happy to read you had a successful pregnancy After!
We lost our daughter at 20 weeks from cord issue. Total shock to everyone.

I'm so sorry to hear about you daughter. We lost our baby girl thought stillbirth, no known cause found. She was only 5 days off her due date. She would be 2 years old this Saturday 😔

Just for the board stats- swayed girl, due Oct 15
Tomorrow is second appt, I'm 10 weeks and we'll be drawing chromosomes at that time. Hoping for normal chromones to be reported on March 30th so we announce on Easter.

Congratulation, Igglepigglepink, so happy for you!!! When is your due Date?
My First Scan is tomorrow Morning, so exciting! I feel a lot more nauseous lately than with my Boys. But Symptoms do not predict Gender, Right??

Thank you. Doctor thinks due date is between 28-30 October but I guess this will change as baby gets easier to measure. I will most likely be induced early anyway.

Good luck with your scan, I'll be back to check on your update tomorrow! I really don't get many pregnancy symptoms and have been mostly the same on my boys as my girl so not a predictor for me although I do remember being much more tired and grumpy with my girl so time will tell. I hope to get the nipt done at 12 weeks and will find out gender then.

Congratulation, Igglepigglepink, so happy for you!!! When is your due Date?
My First Scan is tomorrow Morning, so exciting! I feel a lot more nauseous lately than with my Boys. But Symptoms do not predict Gender, Right??I was mildly sick with my boys. Both my daughter's pregnancies I was beyond sick. Couldn't not eat anything or keep anything down in first trimester.
This pregnancy...I know it's a girl and although I am super sick I've not thrown up yet. Different than the last 2 pregnancies. So I've determined every pregnancy is different regardless of gender.

Good luck with your scan!!

Thank so much, mamabird and igglepigglepink! I had my first scan this morning and we saw the embryo with a flickering heartbeat!!! The doctor said it is a good sign that we could already see the Embryo since I am only 5+6, which makes sense regarding the OPK. I am sooooo relieved and beyond happy.
So, for the board stats: I swayed Girl and due date is November, 16.
Have a wonderful day, Ladies!!!

So...... reading everyone's advice to ABC about how to go about the miscarriage removal came to use today. Unfourtanetly there wasn't a heartbeat at my appt this morning and the baby stopped growing at 8&4, two weeks ago. I was able to make an educated and swift decision for a d&c on Monday. It explains why the last two weeks have been less sick than the previous two weeks.

Morning everyone! Yesterday morning was my d&c. Everything went as expected. Low volume of blood loss. They took every precaution to help me not be nauseas or throw up after surgery and it worked. I woke up nausea free completely. Immediately after discharge, we picked up McDonald's and i ate it all so quickly. My husband was amazed. After not being able to eat, drink, go to bathroom #1 &2 well for 5 weeks, it was amazing. Physical pain is minimal. Keeping up on ibuprofen and tylenol. As a bleeding precaution, they have you take a med to keep the uterus contracting. My Walgreens and all the other pharmacies didnt have in stock. That was a little hiccup, but thankfully im already down to just spotting. Its not recommend to do any further testing on baby until 3rd miscarriage, but i asked and my doctor is very sweet. I had to promise not to be hurt if all the common chromosomal abnormalities were normal and not blame myself because there are a million other chromosomal problems that cause miscarriage in addition to the common ones tested. I will get to find out if my sway worked though and if it was my little girl or another boy baby. I think it'll help me move forward and cope. Take care ladies and ill follow you all occasionally. Time for some happy posts.... so go! Make some happy posts. Cant wait to hear you all talk about your flutters and such.

Wednesday! :) good luck with yours can’t wait to hear all about it!Thanks. I doubt they will change my original dd bc of the ivf frozen embryo transfer. It gives exact dates so even if bub grows bigger (which mine normally do) I'll still be Nov.2.2018
I am asking to be induced 1 week early though.. And bc my last pregnancy (which I lost) was due end of Nov .. I don't actually want another Nov date. I might just say I'm due end of October to people.. since I am hopefully being induced anyway.

Anyone else suffering from terrible headaches? I had one yesterday so bad that Tylenol didn't touch at all. I've been using essential oils on my temples for some relief, which I've been told safe... I'm not really comfortable with. I feel like between the nausea and headaches I am struggling.

NO ESSENTIAL OILS during pregnancy, they have recently been proven to be hormone disruptors. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/63620-essential-oils-hormone-disruptors.html

Have you talked to your doc about this?? Headaches that don't respond to pain killers are worthy of investigation.

April 8th, 2018, 10:28 AM
Yes I've asked my Dr. They assure me that peppermint essential oil only topically used is considered safe. But who knows!
Dr prescribed me Tylenol #2.. but that also did nothing. To be honest when I tell them about my headaches they brush it off. It's very frustrating.

I feel ya, I've been in the same boat myself a lot lately with docs just blowing things off. I swear unless you're actively dying before them they assume you're a hypochondriac till proven otherwise. :/

Many things are all but unstudied. Doctors say "oh that's ok" when they have not seen an actual study saying "for the love of G-d avoid this!" but that does not mean things are safe. I wouldn't do it. Peppermint is something we use in swaying to reduce estrogen levels and since the study above has shown that lavender oil and tea tree oil are actively messing up hormones, I have to suggest against using them during pregnancy.

Hope you're feeling better soon!!!

I found this tip online in one of my other pregnancies and found it helped if the headache isn't too severe. I suffer from bad headaches and migraines so I feel your pain x

Sit on the edge of your bed with your feet in a bucket of fairly warm water with hour head down at your knees and a cold cloth on the back of your neck. This pulls the blood to your feet and released headaches

I had my scan last week at 7w0d. I measured at 6 weeks 3 or 4 days, which makes sense to me since I only ovulated on day 17. They found a heartbeat of 120! Since I am only off by 4 days they are sticking with a LMP due date of 11/19. I feel a little better but still very anxious to get my MaterniT21 testing done; after we have those results we will start telling family. Next appt is 5/1 for the first prenatal visit and at that point they will schedule me in with a MFM to get the testing done. Here are 2 pics from my TV scan:

Congratulations to everyone and my heart goes out to those who have lost. ABC, I pray for you every single day my sweet friend.

Hi again everyone, congrats girlsway how exciting that you are announcing it now! Congrats to mtolbert on your baby girl. I had placenta previa with my previous pregnancy. The placenta can move so you will have more scans right up until 32 weeks. Mine unfortunately didn't move and I had a large APH at home at 34 weeks and ended having my daughter by c/s at 35 weeks but all was ok in the end! Try not to worry just yet at nearly 15 weeks you have time for it to move.

I had a scan yesterday as I have been bleeding which is worying for me. By my dates I am 7 weeks today but they say 7 + 2 which is very similar so that's fine. Scan was fine, no obvious cause of bleeding and baby has heartbeat. Still had a bit of bleeding again this morning, bright red on wiping but no abdo pain. I really hope and pray everything is ok for my little bean

Hi everyone! I would love to join you on this thread. I'm in the UK and I have been swaying pink for about 6 months, I had a chemical 3 months ago. I swayed using this website and the alternative LE diet. I have found it to be full of you lovely supportive ladies.

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow! I have my first midwife appointment on Wednesday and I think baby will be due around November 25th! I feel it's going well. My morning sickness is occasional unlike before but this one strikes more severe when it comes. Other than that I'm just extremely tired and weirdly greasy/ oily, like I've rubbed my head and face in a bag of chips!

I have 3 boys and I'm hoping for a girl this time!

Love to you all x

Hey pbn3!
My next scan is the 20 week gender scan. I had an 11week scan but baby was cheeky and wouldn’t get into position for NT (see pic). I went in for another scan 14 weeks but again not in position so she gave no pics. They took bloods instead.
Pregnancy going ok. Exhausted mostly and very itchy. Going in for an appointment with endocrinologist next week. Hopefully get some answers.
PS: This is the one pic of the US I sent to family, will take the others when I get home.

Mtolbert so happy to see you here definitely remember you from ttc group.

Lovely to see everyone progressing well and scans coming up. Excited for the gender scan coming up end next month for me!! Have a very strong feeling it’s a girl as I didn’t see anything bulky at the 14week scan. Mentally preparing myself for another girl. Above all just praying baby is healthy.[emoji4]

I have my 12 week ultrasound tomorow where they look for down syndrome etc. (I can't rem the actual name)
I am asking them to focus on looking at what caused my loss last pregnancy through the ultrasound not so much abnormalities since she is PGS tested normal and I've already ruled that out.
I also meet my new high risk OB tomorow. I hope she is nice! Nervous ...

I would like to introduce myself. I am a mom to 3 boys (14, 10, and 5). I am currently 15 weeks pregnant. This is the last baby for sure. I struggled with wanting to try again seeing as I have 3 boys but got the courage to do so anyways. I found this site and read up as much as I could. I started my journey 2 years ago and have made it to this point. One of my wonderful friends threw me a gender revel the other day (based on my nipt gender test) and am still in disbelief. I am so excited to say that I will have a little girl joining his bunch of boys in October, still waiting on that ultrasound at 20 weeks though. This site has been so informative and encouraging in my journey. I love seeing the helpfulness of all of you ladies on here. I love reading stories of encouragement and hope. On my down days I turn here for pick me ups. Thank you letting me be a part of this community even if I’ve been lurking in the shadows.

It's gotten quiet in here girls!
How is everyone doing?

I had my 12 week ultrasound last week and met my Dr. All looked good no chromosomal abnormalities which I already knew. However i was told i cannot verify any issues with her cord until at least 20 week ultrasound. We lost our last daughter at 19 weeks from a cord issue and now I basically just have to wait it out. There is no way of knowing if I have it again or any way to prevent it. This was not what I wanted to hear. I thought for sure an ultrasound earlier could tell any issues with it.
So now even know the Drs don't think it will repeat.. I am basically a.big ball of anxiety to say the least. There is no cure for it.. and I literally feel so completely out of control of my own body.
We haven't even told anyone about our pregnancy bc I am terrified of losing her too.
Asking for a little prayer from everyone if possible.

Take care of yourself so you can rest and be as calm as you can until the scan. Baby girl is doing good :)

Igglepink -- I'm also getting girl vibes!! And not to toot my own horn, but I'm rarely ever wrong haha!

Ladies, talk me down a bit. I KNOW cramping is normal in the first trimester -- and I'm having mostly the pinching, pulling. But occasional AF like cramps.

I have been through this so many times, including DD, but I'm so anxious when DD is my only success so far! No bleeding or spotting or anything, just... pretty on and off cramps. I think I'm a bit thrown because I've had the least amount of symptoms for ANY pregnancy I think outside of my first loss -- littles bits of nausea, little bits of nipple/breast soreness. I do have my weirder symptoms (stuffy nose/sore throat/night waking -- and my weirdest one, turning over on my back at night and waking up. I have no idea why this only happens when I'm pregnant!). I just always get pretty symptomatic even before BFP -- and I have enough evidence to support that now, lol!

Throwaway panther, I know it's hard not to worry so no point in telling you not to! But I always get af type cramps in the first trimester. Never had bleeding but I still always worried. Try and stay positive and I'm sure your little baby will be just fine x

Thank you girl dreaming and I feel ya on the nausea/exhaustion! I’m almost 16 weeks and it’s slowly getting better!

Ladies I need advice, I find as finding the gender out draws closer I’m becoming more and more down, as if I’m convinced it’s a boy already and I’m suffering the gender disappointment already! :( I feel so bad because I’m so so grateful to be pregnsnt but it’s tsking over my life this past week with my scab drawing closer! This is our last baby and I’m terrified how I will feel finding out it’s another boy. I love my son with all my heart he’s the most clever funny amazing little thing! I’m just so desperate to experience that daughter bond I have so closely with my mother.

Sorry for the rant I can’t speak about it to anyone else!

Georgia_Peach
April 30th, 2018, 08:08 AM
I had this every time I swayed too. I thought for sure it was a boy. But my first sway 13 week ultrasound looked very girly so I had some hope. I went in for a private scan at 15 weeks and sure enough she was a girl. I can totally understand being scared for sure... but do you think you could go an entire pregnancy without knowing? I know I couldn't. I would love to bc it would be an awesome surprise but I couldn't.
Also are you one of those people that if you find out at birth (he is a boy) it would be easier bc you get to see your sweet little boy and forget about GD or.. are you one who might need time to deal/process it? Finding out in prehancy allows you time to process and kind of getting GD mostly out of your system (so to speak) before he arrives.
Maybe even allowing you time to get used to the idea of another boy and get excited?
And what if it is your little girl? Can you imagine your excitement with the remainder of this pregnancy!?
Just think of both sides of the idea. Finding out at birth or finding out before.
Maybe not focusing on the outcome so much bc that is already done. You have done the BEST you could and what's meant to be will be. Just think of what's best now for YOU and how you would be best to cope with a little boy or celebrating a little girl!!

Girlsway, I'm so glad things turned out ok for you! That's so scary! And I definitely understand the anxiety of gender scans. I'm already sitting here contemplating one of the Harmony/Materniti21/Verify tests and get a brief panick of, "Omg, what if this ISN'T my boy?" I will always recommend finding out gender sooner rather than later just based on my pregnancy with DD, but I know how hard it is to figure out what to do!

And ladies, I'm not going to go in for a second beta. I didn't want to go in for a first one even because the wait for results stresses me out -- I feel traumatized from so many losses and the IVF process. Plus, I have a HUGE problem with numbers. Blame it on the eating disorder, but I get so obsessive over numbers -- I spent all weekend obsessing over my HCG and progesterone! Ack! Definitely going to pass on a second and hope for the best.

I'm bummed that my midwife said she thinks I should come in closer to 7 weeks instead of 6. With DD, we did manage to see a heartbeat and everything before 6 weeks, so I'm kind of sad that with all of our losses under our belt she wouldn't consider getting me in as soon as we did DD (though I recall with DD it was supposed to be closer to 7 weeks, we just hadn't realized I'd ovulated late yet). It's going to be an anxious next few weeks.

Still feeling just barely any symptoms. My most consistent symptom is waking up to pee at night and feeling wide awake -- which has been a big thing for many of my pregnancies. Unlike my other ones though, I've had no food aversions, barely any nausea, and even breast soreness is pretty minimal. Trying not to let any of it bother me considering how high my HCG and progesterone were -- I just am starting to question the validity of symptoms haha! I've had very "pregnant" symptoms with both low and high progesterone and clearly with lower HCG! I wonder if my supplements/steady acupuncture has helped keep symptoms down so far? I know it's early -- but I've had early symptoms with 8 or 9 of my pregnancies!

Thank you ladies for the congrats. Seems there's a few of us with 3 boys, lots of pink dust for you too. Yes, Im going to find out the gender, Im thinking of getting a private scan at 16 weeks. I think I am so nervous that I have managed to put it at the back of my mind, Im surprisingly more positive than I thought I would be. I'm so glad to be able to talk about it here.

I have a 12 week dating scan on the 17th.

I hope you are all feeling okay. And blue dust to the blue swayers too. Xx

I woke up to light red spotting and mild cramping this morning :( I'm so scared. I did have an O yesterday after I told myself I wouldn't out of fear (I always get bad braxton hicks after orgasm very early in pregnancy -- it's how I knew I was pregnant right after I had DD!). NO penetrative sex -- literally just barely fingers! Now woke up to this :(

Called my midwives and am waiting to hear back. I feel numb and terrified.

We have the earliest flutterings of a heartbeat!!

Spotting was suspected as either old blood or -- eek -- blood from a UTI, since they're suspecting that outside of this morning's issues. But I'll take that as long as this baby sticks!!

Yes, that was my suspected dating by my estimated O based on OPKs, so I must have been right on! We saw DD's early little fluttersat 5w6d and haven't seen a HB since, so I'm definitely hoping this is a good sign!

Girlswaylondon

Throwaway_panther
May 8th, 2018, 02:28 PM
Cervix was totally fine! She thinks it was either old blood maybe squeezed out by my O (oops) or from the UTI they're suspecting :worry: But I'll take a UTI over any issue with this baby!

And yup, I'm supposed to be 5w5d by suspected O, so looks I was right on! LMP would have put me at 6w3d, but I followed O with OPKs! Definitely hoping that teensy flutter is a good sign!

Hi lovely ladies, I'd like to finally join this thread "physically", since I was mentally with you all this time and reading all the posts, hoping, praying and feeling sad and happy with you. After finally recovered from 3 weeks of pretty bad cold, I had my ultrasound, and so far everything looks good. I'm 8 weeks pregnant, due date is December 15. Till the last second I was thinking/hoping? that it will be twins (I've lost my twin girls during previous pregnancy), but it's one baby, and probably that's even better, there will be less worries about pregnancy. I have two boys, and hope very much we'll have a girl this time again.

I just had a dream last night that I had a girl :( I woke up from an emergency section and my mom told me it was a girl and I just slumped and was so disappointed. I didn't see a baby, and I know those are my two big anxieties (having a girl AND missing the birth -- I had so many dreams of missing the birth from being sedated before DD).

My DH admitted the other day he thinks it's a boy (he thought DD was a girl the day after our BFP and never wavered), and I have a few others who have thrown out boy already. But sooooo many people thought I was having a boy with DD (since we didn't tell anyone the gender), do I don't put much stock in it.

And meanwhile, I'm just freaking out on and off since I still barely feel symptoms other than occasional cramping.

But I had so many of those with DD -- once that she was a girl with DS even! (though obviously she didn't have DS!).

As soon as they can let me take a NIPT at 9 or 10 weeks, I'm taking one. Since it appears most of our losses were from chromosomal abnormalities, I'd want to know if this baby is viable as soon as possible anyway :(

Girl dreaming I'm no expert but I would give a fairly confident girl guess!!!! Hope I'm right eeeeeeek!!!!! What gestation exactly? Were you getting gender confirmed by bw or will you get a gender scan? As I said I'm not an expert but seriously cant wait for you to find out! Did you post in the u/s forum? Also what's the exact gestation at the scan? If its closer to 12w than 13w then it may be a little too early.....

Thank u Pbn3 I’ve posted in u/s forum and 1 reply with boy lean and 1 with 50/50 from atomic as they aren’t the best pictures unfortunately. I will be finding out at probably 16/40 if I pay privately as I really want a girl so I think I’ll need to get my head round it if it’s a boy. It’s a shame as my 12 week scan with my daughter was so clear although no nub it really looked like a girl. I’m feeling a little anxious now, I guess I didn’t realise just how much I want a girl! I am so happy all looks healthy but I can’t help but think this might be a boy now. Symptom wise I feel the same as I did with my daughter but that doesn’t mean much I guess. But I’m bigger this time so maybe a big boy and I had my first migraine for years a couple of weeks ago which makes me think hormonal imbalance!
Pretty sure I’m thinking about it way too much! Lol! Gestation was 12 +5 so yeah nearer 13 weeks.
Thanks for the guess though, out of interest what makes you think girl?

Pbn3
May 19th, 2018, 01:19 AM

Girl Dreaming 55
May 19th, 2018, 01:27 AM
I’m not good at nubs at all so I have no idea. Really wish we had a clearer pic. Think I’m going to obsess over it all now! Maybe some more people will reply. With my daughter everyone agreed no nub but they all thought girl because it really did look like a girly head!

Telia_Nibbles
May 19th, 2018, 03:32 AM
It's the only picture I have unfortunately. The tech wasn't particularly keen with pictures.

Girl Dreaming, I know what you mean. I've been SO anxious for a couple of days that I've given myself a migraine by obsessing about it. If I'm honest, I'm terrified of GD again, and this is my last baby so I'm scared it would last forever. I feel like such a horrible person for feeling like this. I wish I would be happy with a boy, but it would be my 4th and I've never had a girl. I go from feeling positive to terrified.

My husband has agreed for a private scan. He said the money is worth it for the worrying. I darent tell him how worried I am though.

Girl Dreaming 55

Telia, it must be really difficult as you are so happy you are pregnant but then you already have boys. I guess at least I am very lucky and already have my girl so if this is a boy at least I can be happy I have both I guess. We live in a 2 bed house so I would really love a girl also for ease and I kept everything from last time so
Wouldn’t need to get too much either!
When will you have your private scan? How many weeks are u now? How are you feeling? The same as you did with your boys?
Girlsway - have you got your 12 week pic? Did that look boyish? I am truely 50/50 but leaning boy I think to try and protect myself. I want to find out and sort things but then I worry I will wish I didn’t find out! Lol so crazy!!

I'm 14 weeks on Friday. This pregnancy has been different from the boys but I know that doesn't necessarily mean a different sex. I'm hopeful and positive but then like you I sometimes think boy to protect myself.

I need to book the scan, I've avoided it because I get so anxious! I could wait for the 20 week one but it would be a long wait. Plus it's not a gender scan and if it was a boy it's a lot to take in during a detailed scan. I will be so nervous, I really want my girl now!

Hi all,
Had my scan yesterday and baby is healthy!! We’re having another girl [emoji177][emoji120]
I had prepared for this so I’m looking forward to meeting my wee one. Would have loved to shop for boy clothes though[emoji16]. I’m happy the my DD gets to have the sister I never had.

I haven’t read through the above post, but here’s hoping everyone’s doing well. I have some health complications atm that I’m seeing consultants for so hopefully should begin to feel better. Xx

Girldreaming -- I thought I saw you post some boyish looking nub shots on another thread, but these look girly to me -- even though still early!!
Thanks you TP. The pics are the same on ultrasound forum and this one.
I think one is a bit closer up maybe? I keep analysing the pics against any other boy or girl pics I can find, it’s tricky! I can’t even decide on skull shape either because it’s not that clear! Wish I could be a bit more sure! X

I'm sorry you didn't hear boy, Filzma! I am definitely preparing myself for girl since I'm pretty sure this is another girl -- I just don't think my DH can make healthy boys :(

I'm glad you're thinking positively about it for DD getting a sister. That's sort of what's carrying me through (since I'll probably be Team Green for my sanity), that at least DD will have a sibling since with all our losses it was looking perilous there :(

Will you still share your sway? <3

Congrats filtzma on your baby girl. Sorry you didn't hear boy.

We had another ultrasound this past weekend. Baby is 100% still a girl.
We had a gender reveal party for our kids too. It was so special. They are so excited to be having a another sister.
The baby looks exactly like my daughters profile in her ultrasound picture.

So far during this pregnancy my blood pressure has been creeping up. Every time I go in.. it gets higher. I am not on medicine for it yet or anything just hoping it calms down. So weird bc I swear before I did LE diet for 2 years my blood pressure has always been low. Not sure what changed during that time frame.

I go for my anatomy scan next monday and I am just praying I can have some peace with good results with her cord.
I am 17 weeks tomorow... this is the week I lost my last daughter in utero.(although I didn't find out for another week and a half) It's going to be a tough week. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180523/f65e523978e7052ac3b80effeead4d1b.jpg

Mamabird, I hope the scan goes well and the cord is working perfect. I'm sure it will be an anxious time

My anxiety is starting to get worse now in the past week. I'm not sure if it's because everyone now know I'm pregnant or the fact the pregnancy is getting further along. I really hope to be able to control it as it's not nice being super anxious all the time.

Hope everyone else is doing well ♡

We're all here for you! And take heart knowing your baby girl is growing well. Though I know how hard it is to rest easy.

Can't wait for your next scan!

I've been cramping on and off for the last several hours. Not bad at all, and I did a lot yesterday so might have pushed myself? But so anxious anytime stuff like this happens.

Had my anatomy scan today and I am happy to report all looked normal. Just praying it stays that way. ☺
I am definitely showing now and people have started asking if I am expecting. I haven't officially announced yet.

How is everyone else?

Hey mama, my 20 week scan is tomorrow (how am I half way through?!) I’ve been ok lots of kicks to keep me sane! We recently had FIL funeral that was tough, hoping just good things from now on and hoping she’s still a girl tomorrow lol
