We DTD last night, and this morning the opk was even darker, so I wonder if it wasn't all the way positive last night? Anyway,we did it early because DH is always so tired after the kids go to bed, so we let the kids watch a movie and we snuck off... naughty!! I lay down for 2 hours afterwards and DH put the kids to bed, but I finally had to get up to go pee, so I put in an instead cup. Do you think that's okay? is 2 hrs long enough to lay down? Usually we DTD and then go to sleep, but I couldn't do that this time, so I hope I didn't let any swimmers escape!:worry:

Hoping to see some more BFPs soon ladies!

I got my results today, hcg was quite low so I am pretty sure it's a chemical :( Have to go back on Monday for another blood test. This feels horrible :( I never imagined how hard it would be to experience a loss. I can't imagine what it feels like further along in a pregnancy.

Oh Bec :( xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ASF: Well think my outburst yesterday is AF related after all... as my temps the last 3 mornings are slowely falling (see my chart) and perhaps the spotting is pre AF. I do feel crampy today. MY LP is still days off AF being due, though so I don't know.. 10 dpo ad bfn on IC.

Hi ladies!!!

Guess what? I didn't get a BFP today BUT I got a 12 month contract position for work next year doing what I love most!!!!!! Soooo excited for 2012!!

Also...

Today I was at my neighbours talking and I BURST in to tears, real breakdown style OMG!!!!! I also had a little spotting too 9dpo and I NEVER EVER spot and I only get teary the day before AF comes... Whilst crying I kept thinking OMG I'm pregnant but ugh trying to talk myself out of it as I don't want to get my hopes up at all... 9 dpo is this too late for implantation spotting?

Congrats on the new job! and spotting at 9dpo, it sounds very promsing!

TTC5 ~ I think its still too early ..My temp went up at 12dpo ... and a BFP that day.

LBAM~ How many DPO are you? Sorry for the BFN. I tested with 2 different HPTs on 11dpo, the frer was nagtive, but the Dollar Tree New Choice was faint positive I thought it was an evap, but I was wrong.

Cinss

Pregnancy tests range in sensitivity from 10mIU/ml to 40 mlU/ml. The lower the number, the more sensitive the test, and the earlier it can detect pregnancy.

Well that definatly sounds like implantation to me, you are not close enough to your AF for it to be that starting...Test in 2-3 days to give you body time to produce the hCG.

I think I am about 11dpo. Today is CD35

CD24: +OPT and EWCM

I was going to count 2 days after +opt as O day but I also got EWCM on cd24 so I thought I was Oing then.
I was told that O can happen after EWCM has dried up.
So I am really unsure

CD24: +OPT and Big Blob EWCM
CD25: +OPT and some ewcm
CD26: +OPT and small amount of EWCM

DTD CD24 and CD26

So I could probably be about 9dpo - 11dpo

Sorry if that is all confusing

Well I ended up taking the heart monitor off. The patches they stuck to my skin to attach it to were really irritating me. I must be allergic to them, so now I have 2 massive red welt type marks on my skin which are still itchy! I think 3 days of monitoring will be enough to pick up any problems. If not they can do an ECG or EKG whatever it is they do.

Yeah for real!!! I hope it's right!! ;) Right now, I really don't care about gender (haven't been since my chemical in August). I just want a healthy baby!

I tested 9dpo, 10dpo BFN with ICs. Tested on 13dpo and *thought* I saw something but counted it as BFN. Tested this morning since my temp hadn't bottomed out like it usually does the day AF starts and got the faintest of faint of lines. You honestly can barely see it! I'm worried about another chemical, but not much I can do about it!

I really hope this one sticks!!! I don't think I could handle another m/c!

I have been feeling symptoms, gah, for about a week I think. My bbs just *really* started getting sore yesterday at 14dpo. I've been really tired, headaches, dizziness and small bouts of nausea when my tummy is empty. I really thought I was out this cycle when I had the temp drops at 10 and 11dpo. But then it went back up. It has never started dropping that late and gone back up, so I kinda knew something was up.

I hope this gives you ladies new light for you not to give up hope until AF shows up! I'm living proof here! She is due today!

Ladies, what do you think--I am having weird symptoms!

I thought I O'ed on CD14, but I am having weird pains today (CD16) that I think might feel like O pains? I haven't really ever had them before, but I felt this pain once, two cycles ago. I can't explain it--it just feels like a weird sharp pain that comes and goes. I guess it could be bowel pain too--I have IBS issues from time to time.

Anyway, my CM is creamy/sticky so I thought I O'ed already. If I am today, then I really wish we had DTD last night--we didn't because I thought the egg was already out and hopefully fertilized a couple days ago! I hope that I am not just O'ing now, because that would mean I have a 36hr cut off! :(

Yes, and my temps are just crawling up! I usually get a slow rise, but this time it went up to 97.6 and then 97.8 over the two days after what I thought was O day. I am sure it will be higher tomorrow. But now I am worried that I have a 36hr cut off. SUcks!!

I just got my bfp today at 15dpo!!!!!!!!!! I must have had a late implantation of 10-11dpo or something cause the line is super duper light!!! I am hoping this is a sticky one!!! Please pray for me!!!

Good luck to all of you!
Congratulations :) sending sticky vibes

My 4.5 year old DD just came up to me, rubbed my belly and said "Mummy has a baby in her tummy"..... oh hope she knows something we don't know!!!
Thats a good sign, my DD said that to me when I was pregnant with #3. I didn't know at the time but she did.

LBAM ~ How are you? Anything new?
I am going ok, no AF yet.

That is an interesting article on HCG levels I hope it's true.

Yes, and my temps are just crawling up! I usually get a slow rise, but this time it went up to 97.6 and then 97.8 over the two days after what I thought was O day. I am sure it will be higher tomorrow. But now I am worried that I have a 36hr cut off. SUcks!!

Can I take a look ;)

Just my opinion here guys, with the propping up of hips thing... I wouldn't do it on a very steep angle, only because your cervix opening is right in the middle of the cervix (imagine a tiny volcano) and if you raise your hips too much, the sperm is going to pool at the bottom and around the edges and will find it more difficult to get in the opening. Personally i will just lie flat for at least 40mins, but obviously the longer the better.

After we DTD I usually just lie flat and fall asleep. I always need to pee but I try and hold it til the morning or the early hours at least.

I'm on board with less propping. Just laying with your knees to your chest can do the trick, that's how I got my first 4 bfp's, the last two came from laying flat and putting my legs on a step stool, you know 80's sit ups style.

Oh crap! I had my legs way up. I didn't think about that! :( I hope I didn't screw anything up! I was laying down and had my hips on a pillow, with my legs up on the wall. Well, if I am not pregnant this cycle, I will lay flatter next time. :(

THanks. THe pillow was kind of flat, too. but I am more worried about how high my legs were! They were at a 45 degree angle, probably. :( I never thought about that. Oh well.

Tell me again what you did? WHat kind of foot stool and was it on the bed? I am having trouble visualizing it.

December 20th, 2011, 07:35 PM
It was a plastic step stool maybe 18 inches high, it was right up against my butt with my calves on it. It tilts your pelvis just enough that nothing runs out. Think laying on the floor with your legs on the couch or on the couch with legs on the arm.
I don't think the massive tilt is a deal breaker just a bit overkill lol

I have also put on a lot of weight in the past year and the first time my DP said something about it i felt awful :( my mum and dad own a weight loss company so she has said things to me too :( I know i can loose the weight again and i will after my next pregnancy, but deep down i know i want to try my best to get a boy next time around, and i believe that i have to be heavier than i was when i concieved DD, so when i do pop out a son... i am going to have the last laugh :) then jump on the treadmil!

I feel so low right now girls :( Went to see DH's grandma and she told me how fat I am and how unhealthy I look :( I am 80 kilos and 20 kilos heavier than a year ago but the way she was going on about it was like I am 150kilos :(

I am so sorry that she told you that! I think some people put others down just to make themselves feel better! That is not heavy at all!!! Sending :bighug: to you!

Hobber, I think you're fine...the baby is smaller than a grain of rice at 4 weeks, so it is hard to do damage. When I was preggo once a stool fell out from under me about 4 feet in the air and I fell flat on my bum and was SO worried, but everything was fine. FX for you :):bluecheer:

So last night was a disaster... Got my +opk on the 24th, waited until late 25th to DTD... We used a tiny bit of pre seed and it had a big effect on my DP, it must have enhansed the feeling for him because we were only about 1 min in and he said i'd better hurry up (to have my bigO), then 2 seconds later he said he is about to blow, i said no, he pulled out and was ejaculating on HIMSELF... i said PUT IT BACK IN, so he quickly did, but that was NOT the way it was supposed to go, i think we just did a pretty good girl attempt :(

Hoping you have a little brother too! When is your due date? I'm not sure if we're going to find out the gender or not, which should be around April I think. I would love it know if it's a boy, but I am afraid I would be disappointed if it were a girl because I really want my son to have a brother...plus it would be so much easier for room arrangements! My girls already share a room and there isn't room for another bed in there!

Hobber - Not trying to scare you more but I did a similar thing and it ended up as my first m/c. The morning after I did it I started spotting and had spotting every day or so until 7 1/2 wks. It's highly possible it was a complete coincidence and it was already doomed, based on where I felt the pain my m/w thinks I had an etopic and if I did actually hurt something I did myself a favor. My BFF on the other hand lifted a laundry basket full of wet clothes had a pain, spotting, a few weeks bed rest and now has a 12 y/o son. Odds are if you are preg you are just fine.
10 days is still early, don't give up hope yet :)

Hi ladies,

Sorry for lack of posting. I have been stalking but just not posting. Not sure how to write this but to cut it short it looks as though I may be infertile :(

I have Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. I had 2 x operations approx. 18 months ago to embolise and insert coils through the gonodal veins and ovarian veins. This cycle I have been in quite alot of pain (this syndrome causes chronic pain) and my periods seem to be getting heavier and heavier the last 6 months or so. I saw my dr today and she mentioned that I really need to consider a complete hysterectomy if I want the pain and physical discomfort to ease somewhat as the prior operations have not helped very much at all. I told her I really did not want to go that far just yet as we are trying for 1 more baby. This is when she delivered the news that I am probably now infertile anyway from the embolisation. I am yet to get in and see my vascular specialist to confirm this. They did ask me once before I was taken in to theatre the first time "Are you worried about your fertility?" I thought he ment, was I having troubles conceiving, so I told him "No, I already have 4 children"... How could I be so stupid?!! He obviously meant am I worried the op may affect my fertility.

I guess there is nothing I can do now but be greatful I already had children before this syndrome was picked up on (I have suffered it since the age of 12).

I would have tried for a baby right away if we were told the risks and put the surgeory off till after birth. I feel so so stupid I should have had the common sense to ask :(

TTC5 i don't know anything about that condition, i had a quick look on google, but still don't really understand it, my gut feeling is if you have regular periods you are fertile. Good luck with your attempt this time around.

Hi ladies, thanks for the condolences on the BFN. I didn't want to waste another test today, as my temp was down more, so I am just waiting for AF. The thing that is weird, though, is that I am 13DPO and my LP is usually only 11-12 days. ? Does that mean anything?

Sometimes supps can change your luteal phase, did you take anything new this cycle? Could you be seeing an implantation dip? I didn't get BFP's til over 14 DPO with two of my kiddos.

I am inthe same place TTC5--

After having a Dr tell me I am fat and I would ovulate just fine if I werent Fat...I am looking more at losing weight than getting Preg(thats why I have been absent) , my boy diet is shot this cycle...I may get it a half hearted attempt this cycle...Then start trying to Lose Weight I just feel...Bad....I know what your feeling {{HUGS}}

2pinkNoblue, I have been working on losing weight too before our attempt (hopefully in about a year for us though). I have lost around 30lbs so far and feel great, so IMO it is worth it! I hope your doc was nicer about suggesting loading weight though!!

Wow....That must be very nice to know exactly when you are going to O...FX!:fx: I am gonna try to do Soy Isoflavones in place of clomid this cycle...240 mg cd 3-7 hopefully I will O, trying to sway with timing forme is impossible, so here's hoping pH is enough :nails:

If I could have got my hands on some Soy isoflavones I would have tried that too. I can't find it anywhere though. Good luck, hope it does the trick for you!

5, I have been doing some googling too and I can't find any info that says that embolisation and coiling can cause infertility. Maybe the doctor was referring to the PCS itself causing infertility?

Thanks Bec... but AF showed up. Started spotting last night, and she is here full force today! The thing that is so weird to me is, the only time I get spotting before AF are the months that I have TTC. It was like that years ago when I was trying for my first DS. Wonder what that means?

Hey strangers, I know it's been too long but being on this forum has made it really hard to get the bfn's for 8 months. Finally this morning we got our first bfp! Congrats, Tink, I am so excited for you!

Hey Hobber, that is strange, i wonder if a bean can get rejected by your body after implantation? I guess that is technically a MC?

Hope.ful Congrats on the BFP!!!

Yeah, I wonder that too? I really felt pregnant... but never got a BFP. I tested 3 times! Anyway, on to next cycle!
