Hey Ruu, I use the clear blue with flashing smiley and solid smiley. I got negatives then straight to solid smiley (positive for LH and should O within 12-48 hours) when I conceived my DD2!! I actually Od the day I got the solid smiley because I got a big temp spike the next morning. And I only BD the day of the solid smiley... and again the next morning, but I had already Od. The solid smiley face means that your LH surge was detected and that’s the hormone that makes the egg pop. The flashing smileys indicate an estrogen surge has been detected and that often happens before LH surge, but they can happen around the same time, and in that case it would show a solid smiley. I think you could definitely get a BFP this month!
TA, you’re still soooo early to get a bfp! Blue2 got a bfn before her bfp!!

I didn't get even a faintest pink line at 11DPO. Are there possible chances of getting a bfp later till 14/15 DPO...??Maybe you can get it on 14DOP

TA - yes! I'm same as SG, every single time (testing twice daily for 7 days) I always got negative... negative... PEAK. I actually thought something was wrong with me or the tests & messaged atomic about it. Apparently some women don't have enough of the hormone in their urine to get a HIGH flashing smiley before PEAK solid smiley

And for what it's worth, I'm apparently pregnant now so going from low to peak OPK does not affect tcc :)Thanks hey was going crazy, so am normal lol, thought its a fake peak because others get flashy smiley and then solid smile, so was thinking this is jus fake,

Atomic said that can happen sometimes and its normal. We've been bd eod after af finished.+opk was 2 days ago Monday so we bd that day twice (during the day and then again midnight) and bd again last night. I don't know if we should bd again tonight incase of delayed ovulation or skip tonight and do it the next day. What would you guys do for blue?
Also congrats on your bfp i hope its blue!!

I just read through your thread thanks for sharing. When we conceived our 2 daughters (wasn't swaying at all) i was under weight both times. I hardly ate any proper meals mainly coffee as soon as i woke up then nothing untill lunch time then coffee again with toast on its own.. didnt snack and if i did it would be some packaged un healthy biscuit or something. I hardly ate yoghurt, cheese, nuts, maybe 1 fruit per day didnt take any supps or anything. So after i found this site i totally know why we have 2 daughters. My husband was a smoker back then too, he did quit about 8 years ago. I feel like im in a much better condition for a boy now with my weight gain, everything i eat is what HE diet suggests anyway. Ive been eating plain yoghurt everyday with oats nuts and berries (i never ate cereal before ever). Im eating eggs everyday cheese full cream milk no coffee compared to 3 a day i eat protein everyday inlc red meat, chicken or fish have been taking vitamins but i do know it still can be a girl but ill know that i did the best i can. We'l see what happens. Oh also i should add i am 1 of 5 girls and i have 2 daughers so i was thinking if i have another it will be a girl for sure... well my sister is prwgnant and just found out she is haveing a boy!! And she didnt sway or anything so it is possible.

CB tests were the easiest for me - took the guessing out of the game! And ABSOLUTELY I am finding out what I'm having. Actually just called my OBGYN today to schedule my first prenatal. At that apt they schedule my NIPT labs. By my calculations I should have the results by early/mid-March...

...I'm already scared of how I'll react if it's another girl. Oh well, nothing I can do now. Mantra: Ask, Believe, Receive

It is really good if you don't take a PT early as I did & getting disappointed. After AF I feel like I am less in dismay than BFN...

Yup Nell.. DH doesn't know I am on a diet for swaying (he thinks I am trying to lose weight). So, I ll continue without his knowledge...

Yeah maybe then he's a lucky man, though LOL. Meanwhile I am just trying to convince my hubby to try for atleast 2-3 months.. Will see, what's well that ends well...

Also, TA, would your DH be ok with pulling out for the big finish ? That way you can still only have one attempt and still bd daily to keep him happy.

Yes its your cycle this time you get your bfps, Nell this was my second time, DH excited and happy that no more use of protection when trying to release lol, DH works far too, but whenever he is around he is like wanting to cover up with the lost time LOL,

We are ttc #7, we have 6 beautiful boys and would love a little girl. After trying different sways previously from timing to extreme sway this time we are changing a few things but not doing a major sway.
Currently I'm CD7 of a 30-35 day cycle.

Ohh thanks for thinking about me :) ive been staying away for a few days so i can keep my mind off and not symptom spot this month! Last 2 months i drove myself crazy so im trying to distract myself this time.
Im only 6dpo today so too early to test im thinking of testing this friday when ill be 10dpo.

Ladies, if you are having trouble getting pregs, please consider putting your pelvis over your head for 1 hour after sex. My husband and I "stuck" together like dogs or pigs after sex for a few minutes to ensure no sperm was lost. He pulled out as slowly as he possibly could... Then I put my pelvis over my head and watched a movie for 1 hour. It was worth it. I got pregnant right away with that method and I have 70% confirmation it is a girl based on my early gender scan.

TA, check with atomic about frequent release. You can bd once a day but have to do it every single day for at least 7 days. I’m not sure what she’s said as far as ease of getting pregnant using that approach though. February is your month!!!

Just made my attempt, so i tested with CB monitor yesterday around afternoon time-negative its the pink one so only gives peak fertility days and says soon as you get smiley face DTD within 48 hrs. I tested again around 11am this morning and got a positive, we just made the attempt its 10pm here in the uk so thats 11 hrs later but during the day today i felt ov twinges have i missed it? Or can the twinges mean i haven't yet ovulated ? Argh!! Whats going on can anyone shed any light? :nails:

6dpo today and getting real impatient :(( i had lots of cramps last 2 cycles with bfn so im thinking this might be a good sign to have no cramps for me? Maybe? Or its because im doing better at keeping my mind off and not thinking about it too much. Only thing ive been feeling is some wierd pain/feeling in my nipples.. not sure how to explain it though maybe like shooting pain. I always get bigger boobs a week before AF but no shooting pain in nipples. A few more days and i think ill start testing i cant wait as long as i was intending to :poas:

Officially on the books at my OBGYN for 2/22/19 ultrasound & lab work, which means I should have NIPT gender results by the week of March 4!!! I am absolutely terrified to know the results. Think I'm going to do what I did the first round when I found out about DD: drive to the OBGYN, get the envelope, and open it in my car by myself. That way if it's a DD2 I can have my mega meltdown in private

So am prego but don't feel it yet meaning no symptoms. I only experienced cramps from 4 DPO upto now, but I don't have any other symptom.
Advice I don't know what to do am afraid of gaining weight so am continuing with LE diet, I know I shouldn't but have history of c/section because of gestational hypertension and weight gain of more than 30 kgs during pregnancy so m stuck

My smptoms (if anyone is interested) started 2 day ago so probably 8dpo. I cried over tv and im not an emotional person who cries fro everything.. my stomach felt wierd like very mild nausea but i didnt want to get my hopes up so thought must be something i ate.. my breasts always get fuller and heavier 1 week before AF which happened again so i thought im definitely out again but 2 days ago i started having shooting pains in my nipples which i never get. And last symptom i felt this wierd feeling/pain in my uterus like maybe 5-10cm below my belly button which again i never get. I always get cramps and wierd feelings after i ovulate untill AF arrives but this was in a different location. Aaahhh i cant believe it guys i hope everyone else gets their bfp this month too!!! Hoping for a blue sticky bean xx

Ruu, we are staying team green until delivery. It was so much fun with DD2. We found out for DD1.
I’m very scared to find out the gender. I’ve had three hcg levels drawn, and they’ve all been very high, which I’ve read online can mean girl. I was pretty discouraged when I read that.

You can do it!!! There are so many OBs who are supportive of vbacs (vaginal birth after cesareans) now! I hope you have the delivery you want! During my DS I didn't even knew I was pregnant.Total nil to zero symptoms.. Newly married and was enjoying the moment. I didn't even knew I missed my periods for about 2 weeks or so..
Took a PT after 2 weeks of missed period and got a bfp. I was like wow is this pregnancy..?? Sooo easy.. I didn't have any symptoms until 2-3 months..

Did you DTD when both lines were the same colour? Try not to worry or maybe DTD tonight just incase! Like i said maybe your ovulation pain is after ovulation and where you are pregnant it didn't cause the pain? Do you normally ovulate left or right side i normally do on the right hut this month was left ! xx

I've heard of the test but you have to be so careful not to contaminate the test so make sure area is clean as if you have a male in the house can pick up male dna eg DH. i only know that don't know anything else. How have you been feeling? x

Thank you so much SG! Just took a cheap hcg test i found , its negative :-( took a cheap ovulation test too thats shown a really faint line. Maybe AF is coming im 12 days after dtd so i must be out this month...would it show by now? I felt pains day 11/12/13 normally day 14 so this must be a shorter cycle so must be out ... so sad!
Don't worry about left and right you have a great chance of getting your boy like ruu said it doesn't matter left or right according to atomic :-) so pleased your little one is growing on track and a strong HB another old wives tale HB below 150 means boy lol xx

Happy that your baby is healthy.. Don't worry about which side you ovulated, this is least least digestible old wives tale. The ovary release an egg, not girl or boy! only the sperm determine the gender. If believes are in the old wives tale, then a HR of 133 is in a boy territory..

Don’t worry, Ruu! I never threw up or felt very bad with either of my girls!! I really think that pregnancies can be exactly the same and you can get different genders, or pregnancies can be completely different and you can get the same gender. Your sway rocked!

Thanks girls, well next month will be 4th month of trying, 1st month i only made attempt day 11 so was way out i think as DH was working away. I don't really understand every 4days surley DTD when you get pos opk is more accurate? X

It is believed to work also, so you will be DTD every 72 hrs unprotected, or you can also include OPK

I think the nausea struck me I can't eat am not puking but the thought of the last food I had last night is making me feel like puking but I can't and I also have something stuck in my throat that is causing me to feel like throwing.

Fingers crossed..He jus said happy with either Ds or DD but thats lie deep down he wants a DD, it slipped out of his tongue the other day that a DD is a blessing to him
