Next Thurs or friday ruu. First month maybe i was way out dtd day 11 only i seem to get a positive day 13. I remember before not getting ovulation pain when i got pregnant? Did all you ladies still get ov pain and fell pregnant?

Nell, I never noticed Ov pain until I started researching sways. But I clearly Ov'd because DD arrived. I think ov pain is one of those things that can be extremely subtle or very noticeable depending on if you're looking for it. Unlike AF pains which are in-your-face obvious.

Thanks blue2 mine are always very noticeable even when not ttc i just remember not feeling them the month i fell pregnant.... so wondering if the ladies that get iv pain had it the months they got pregnant i wonder? :)

LO is looking good!! 2 arms, 2 legs - I asked what side it was on and dr said "dead center and upside down" so my ultrasound pics are basically of the back of the head/spine and can see the numbs of folded arms/legs

For some reason this thread isn't allowing me to upload a pic ugh!

Blood drawn for NIPT and they said 7-10 business days for results. For this version they email you the results so cue me watching my inbox like a hawk next week. The anticipation is killing me. Almost as much as the OBGYN (not my regular, a substitute) saying "I think it's another girl". I know there's no way to know at this point but she seemed so convinced that I'm honestly pretty down about it...

Ruu - when do you find out gender? I'm measuring exactly 10 weeks today, how far are you? Sorry if you've posted this before, I've been bad about keeping up with the forums because my gender anxiety is almost unbearable

Blue2 that’s so exciting! I bet the 7-10 days will drag on. But then you’ll hear boy, and you can shop all things blue! I wouldn’t put any stock into what your OB said. Doctors don’t usually pride themselves on intuitiveness (certainly not the ones I know at any rate). Please keep us updated!

Ruu, I’m also struggling with the decision to find out or not. We were team green for DD2 and it was so much fun! But I also knew we wanted three and so we’d have another chance for a boy. I think being team green helped me have an unmedicated birth, since I was so excited to find out the gender. I may have less resolution to push through (pardon the bad pun) labor if it’s another girl.

Pregnancy is such an emotionally rough time! We are constantly worrying. You are blessed. You’re babies are safe. Try not to stress yourself too much (easier said than done I know).
I’m actually nervous right now about my baby, because my symptoms have gotten so much better in the last two days. Very little nausea. Still burpy, tired, and weepy though.

Hey all was quite busy this weekend so couldn't reply but couldn't resist from reading the post..

Nell don't think too much about ovulation pain. Ovulation is a process where an egg is released. The egg doesn't know that sperms are waiting there to fertilize the egg, so that the egg cause more or less pain during ovulation.. The egg is released as usual. I have normal to lot of pain different cycles. So relax you're not out yet. Good luck dear Nell.

I wanted to finish with missionary but unfortunately I ended up with me on top (collapsed cowgirl) and stayed in the position for 5-7 minutes at last. I am getting worried whether the swimmers reached in there.. I literally started crying that it didn't happen the way I wanted it to be.. I am so so nervous..

Good to hear from you TA! Thanks for the well wishes. For what it's worth, here are what my early December (fail) and late December (success) BD attempts looked like...

Early December - "The Perfect Attempt"

- BD EOD b/c DH & I were in the same city
- robitussin every day
- quick, doggie style
- laid on my back for 20min after
- AF showed up 2 weeks later...


Late December - "The Desperate Must-Get-It-Done Attempt"

- BD E4D b/c husband left my parents on a Wednesday and I didn't fly home until Friday night
- no robitussin
- Pos OPK Friday night
- BD 24hr later on Saturday night
- long, missionary
- pos PT 2 weeks later

Obviously we will know on Saturday whether my late December attempt was acceptably risky or stupid & regretful. But I was limited b/c DH had to fly home from xmas vaca early b/c of a work emergency so was forced to default to e4d that week.

Point is, try not to stress too much about position! I'm sure atomic has info on this but cowgirl vs. missionary can't be THAT different, right?

Oh Nell, so sorry to hear BFN. Do you feel AF coming on? I had several BFNs before my BFP in January. Same with DD back in 2017. So unless you really feel AF coming on, I wouldn't give up on this cycle just yet...

I guess I’ve been watching too many gender reveals on Instagram. I had a scan today, and baby looks great! Good heartbeat and wiggling away in there.

Nell, I’m in hot, humid Louisiana! We usually get two scans. Initial “dating” scan anywhere between 6-10 weeks then the anatomy scan at 18-20 weeks. When I was in Atlanta, they did the NT scan at 12 weeks, but they are not required here, so I don’t think I’ll even get a chance of the nub shot. With my previous miscarriage my OB likes to get a couple in the beginning to check on progress, and I think most of the time insurance will cover them, but we have a deductible so it’s out of pocket for us. Private insurance is screwy.
And I just want to mention that you are NOT bothering anybody with bfns. We want to be there for you every step of the way! And I’m sure all of us can’t wait for your bfp!

If not anybody's, atleast God answer the sweet ltl angel's prayer by fulfilling it and completing your family with blue bundle of joy.. DH is 42 and didn't do ANYTHING for my sway. He smoked cigarettes daily through ttc (sways pink) too. I am working on my way post, be on the lookout. Hope it helps!!

Dont worry i have also read hcg levels mean nothing we are all praying for your bb 😊 i wouldn't think bf 1 or 2 times a day would make a big impact surley that would be demand feeding that would affect things?? 🤔

Iv been temping this month and temp this morning shows i have not ovulated ... yet!!! Im so mad i give up i just turned 36 and this is wasting time. I can barley even type this argh!!!

And don't worry Nell there are so so many ladies who got pregnant dtd on ov day itself, just try BD today as soon as you can dear.. This month will be different BD for you so maybe you ll get lucky this time..

How much ever tired he is, try not to give up Nell. Not easy to skip a month even without giving it a try.

I've read that the egg is viable for 24hrs after ovulation so chill you're not out yet...

Nell, it’s so frustrating when we organize and do everything for our sways only to be at the mercy of our DHs! But don’t lose hope! I got pregnant from BDing on Ov day with DD2! An obvious shettles opposite, which I’m very thankful for! I’m gonna try to attach a pic of my chart. I was using opk and temping so I know which day I ov’d. Praying for your successful, pink attempt!

Nell, the temp spike happens the day after ovulation, because after the egg pops out of the ovary the corpus luteum (the cyst that’s left after the egg pops out) starts pumping out progesterone, and that’s the hormone that makes your temp rise. When trying for DD2, when I used the opk, I’d never get a high just low low low then peak The month I conceived her, I had the temp shift the next day. So, I ovulated the same day as my peak the month that I conceived her. I hope I didn’t just make it way more confusing!

Nell, I'm the same as SG - I've literally never had a "high" OPK reading, always gone straight from "low" to "peak"!!! and I was testing twice a day, 6am & 6pm

Thanks SG and blue makes complete sense! I think im the same peak and then ovulate next day! So we didn't dtd last night he got in too late i didn't see him 😩 so im obviously writing off this month i had a big glass of wine and went to bed! I hate it being down to the husband so frustrating 😂 next month is my last chance to have a baby this year id so love to have one in december as dh company shuts down for a few weeks over xmas
