I'm not sure if there is already a thread for Feb sorry if there is I couldn't see one.

I think I am going to skip the BSF this time and focus on lemon water and maybe some ural.
I really need to concentrate on my EWCM I am getting none :( The last 3-4 cycles I have noticed I am getting one small amount of EWCM. I thought that was normal but after reading about some people that have so much and it lasts a few days I am thinking that I should try to increase mine.
I am starting to get frustrated and am finding myself thinking oh stuff it lets just get pregnant, and not worrying about the swaying.
But I feel that if I do that and get another girl I will be upset with myself for not trying to get some more boy sides on my dice, does that make sense ?

Can anyone see this thread?
When I go to my threads I can see it, but when I go to the ttc a boy section I can't see it.

oh, sorry :(
Just thought since my attempt will be in Feb I would start a new thread for me and anyone planning to attempt in Feb.
So we can discuss what we are planning to do and when we are due to O etc
Would you like me to delete the thread and wait until Feb ?

I'm in the middle of my cycle right now and should be getting AF around Feb 7th or so and then we will offically be TTC. DH and I have started taking some supplements and changed our diet slightly. I'm still not certain on the whole aspect of how frequent to BD. I tend to get lots of ewcm (for like 4 or 5 days) and 2 or 3 days of +opks before O'ing. I know you want to try spacing out BDing so it's not every day.....but what about once ewcm shows up? Since we are just starting TTC we aren't desperate yet so we don't mind leaning more towards trying the whole timing thing....

Hi All

Just wondered if I can join you all.

A little bit about myself, I'm 37 been married for 8 years and have 3 gorgeous girls 7, 5 & 3. I was on the In-Gender forum since last August swaying for a boy. I got pregnant on our 1st attempt but unfortunately had a mmc @ 8 weeks on 23rd Dec2011. I've had one AF since my mmc.

I started back on the boy diet etc in late Dec and am hopefully ready for DTD thsi weekend if my body will ovulate! I seem to have lower temps this cycle but my ph seems lower which is a shame.

As the In Gender forum seems no longer I wonder if I can join you all??

Thanks

Strawbell

Hi LBAM, sorry i didn't see this thread earlier, i would have come to keep you company. Skipping BSF is a good idea, really it only changes the ph of your vaggi and not up inside the uterus. For the last couple of months i was taking EPO everyday and found that i had tonns of EWCM. I dropped the EPO this cycle because they were so randomly long and short, and i have definatly noticed that i have very little EWCM, it is more watery and i did have to use pre seed this time. So when are you due to O? What are you going to do with timing this time?

Plum3

Welcome Strawbell and Amber :)

Cinss, FX for you! How many attempts did you get in your fertile window?

So, the ultrasound showed a 20mm, 15mm and 13mm follicle, all on my right side. There is the potential that they all could ovulate but more than likely just the bigger one or two. I will trigger tonight and then O on Friday. We're going to DTD tonight and tomorrow night. So we'll have O-4, O-2 and O-1 attempts if all goes to plan :)

Cinss
January 31st, 2012, 07:17 PM
Bec - As luck would have it i did O-4, O-2, and O. I was finding it difficult to predict O because for me it is on a different CD each time, so thought DTD every second day would be our best bet. FF hasn't confirmed O yet, but i am pretty sure it was CD23. My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3061e7)

I'm thinking of booking a private gender scan for the next 2 week, when I'll be 16 weeks. I have a Dr. appt on Feb 21st and I will be 17 Weeks, I think the doctor will scheduled an ultrasound around 18weeks ..Long wait.

Hell my whole life is planned and I just so wanna be pregnant NOW!! I might be able to talk DH into trying before April by bring up some of my work related reasons....just don't know if he will go for it. I can't possibly wait until April to start TTC!!! Dying here.....

Welcome to my world, POP! I've had 2 instances of actually putting that plan into motion also, but they were the lovely m/c. Well hey, you are at least being a high T kinda gal there, so that is good!

Welcome to the new ladies! I didn't know IG had gone down (for good?) but this is a WAYYYYY better site than that one, and we are a LOT nicer, laid back, and not judgmental at all. Good stuff.

Amber, I was going to say that you could try to dtd every other day....I'd do O-2 and then O for sure if I were you. Sounds like you have great ewcm and all, good for you!

MFC, DO IT! You know you are going to want to once 16 weeks rolls around. I'm so excited to hear what you have!

Bec, super stoked about the follie action there! FX this cycle!!!!!

I am trying the "don't even care anymore" thing this month and may not even take opks......only strategy I can think of now. Trying to book urologist appt for DH but the office has not called to confirm it yet. You have to book online. Jeez.

LBAM - FWIW I had almost no ewcm till I started taking fish oil and drinking 2-3 glasses of green tea a day.
I totally understand wanting to give your sway your all. With dd3 I was told about position and dh caffeine, when we heard girl I knew we blew it. I gave my last sway my all so I would know that if it was another girl I would have no regrets.
I agree that bsf does more harm then good unless you have tons of ewcm. I did one 30 minutes before my attempt and it turned things watery but by the time we dtd I had a ton again and didn't need any additional lubrication.

POP - start the thread get a bfp, if only it were that simple lol Keep in mind the longer your body has prepared the better your chances. I know it sucks but you can do it!

Amber - WELCOME!! I would worry less about timing and more about diet. Have you read the girl sway info? I read through how to sway pink, found where I was skewed the most, changed those habits and got my boy. GL and blue dust :)

Stewbell - WELCOME to you too!! So sorry about your mc, I've had two myself.
FWIW I got my guy with a pH of 5-5.5 and one bsf 30 minutes prior. if you've been on the IG diet read over the High Everything diet here, much better :)

MFC - is this you're first day here lol you know we are all going to say get the scan!!

Lola - Funny when we pretend we don't care huh Never really true and we'll all still obsess with you during the 2ww :) FX the dr calls back soon.

Well ladies here I am 8 days to go and losing my mind. I hate sitting here feeling like a time bomb while dh watches my every move. Poor guy's going to have a nervous breakdown waiting for me to go into labor lol The girls have started talking to my belly begging him to come out and play, here's hoping he wants to meet them as bad as they want to meet him.

Aha find it! You guys are not gonna get rid of me  Need to stalk everyone ....need to stalk...:p

Anyway I see talk about ewcm...you know what funny? I always had a lot and got my girls that way. Now when I was doing all that ttc blue , every time I ttc I go and have a lot less.
So maybe it's ok to ttc a boy with less ewcm if you got girls when you have a lot?
Not sure...just thinking here. Now that Im back on my old ways I have lot's of it again.

Fab-you sure have to get a scan at 16 weeks!!! (more stalking for me yeyyy) I got one too with DD4 and they can tell you it's easy to see by then.

hmmm what else...
oh PP-why do you have to wait until April to ttc if you are so ready now?

good luck to all and welcome everyone (well Im not really here anymore because I don't ttc but anyway welcome lol)

PoP - So you had a reading saying conception in March, maybe you will be able to convince your DH into 1 month early for a BOY. I saw on another thread you live on the Gold Coast, me too... Are you talking about Paradise Ultrasound Specialists on Ashmore Rd that do the 3d/4d scans? I want to go there as i went with a girlfriend last year and she was told the sex at 15 weeks, and it was correct.

Hi Everyone :)
I am new here and have been trying to go through all the forums and posts and am overwhelmed. I currently have two girls and am TTC#3 and I would like to try and sway boy. Can you look at my diet and supplements and let me know if what I am doing is ok or if I should add/delete anything?

Currently I do weight training a few times a week so I pretty much each the same things everyday.
Breakfast I have either waffles and strawberry's with a whey protein shake or egg whites with toast and turkey bacon
2hrs later I have a snack and it is usually an apple or a banana or sometimes both.
For lunch it varies but usually it is a tuna fish sandwich, chicken with rice or sweet potato, or turkey sub no cheese with veggies.
2hrs later I have a snack and it is usually a rice cake with peanut butter on it with a whey protein shake and some carrotts or tomoatoes or sometimes a banana.
For Dinner I always have a meat/carb/veggie. And I usually add sea salt to everything. I drink mostly water throughout the day and sometimes have green tea a couple times a day. I don't eat any dairy.
For my supplements I take Folic acid, fish oil, prenatal, epo, and vitamin e.
Sorry this is alot of information
Im not sure what the timing is that I am suppose to BD and I think I am going to try the BSF before each BD session.

I appreciate any and all advice you could give me and I am so happy to have found this place :)

Welcome dlou!!!

DH is away for work right now and I text him yesterday about trying earlier. He said we will talk about it when he gets home on thursday. I said I will be ovulating about when he gets home....he said start okp testing next week and we will talk about if we will try or not this month when he gets home....OMG...I am so excited. I will kill him if he gets my hopes up like this and then says that I have to wait till march/april. lol

Cinss...if you see something on the news late next week about a wife stabbing her husband to death on the Gold Coast....he said no!!

Hi dloui128, Welcome. Your sway looks absolutly awesome, all the foods you listed are great for boys and weight training too, good on you, i know i tried that for a week and gave up haha, you go girl. Timing isn't a very important part of swaying as we have seen many many ladies fall pg with boys and girls with all kinds of BD patterns. I think you are getting a great amount of nutrients already, but if you want to get even more, wheatgrass is an easy way to do it, you can get them in capules or liquid, and if you feel like a sweet treat dark chocolate is also on the boy list.

Preseed is recommended if you don't have a lot of ewcm, but you will probably find you have enough from taking the epo? Deep penitration is also recommended, doggie style is said to be the best for that, and if you really want to add timing in, we generally go for abstaining for a few days then BD on O-2 + O, it is tricky to predict O though, so if you haven't already, check out the Fertility Friend website, so you can chart your data.

Awesome thank you !!!!!
I have signed up on Fertility Friend and am starting to chart my cycles.
I tried the wheat grass in powder form and could barely get it down, maybe I should try the capsules. I started taking the epo because I wasn't getting a lot of ewcm so hopefully now that I started taking it I will see an increase, thank you for all the great information:)

Dloui, your diet and supps sound great. My DH used to have whey protein almost daily but it has things in it that may affect fertility so he has stopped it for the time being. Once we get pregnant he will start taking it again. Cinns gave some great advice re timing. I would definitely use preseed too if you don't have much ewcm. Oh and Brewer's yeast in tablet form is a great source of nutrients too.

POP, hopefully your DH will agree to try sooner!

3P, I love you belly :)

So today is O day. I think I may have O'd an hour or so ago. The pains and time correspond to when I was supposed to O according to when I had the trigger. So the wait starts... again.

So I haven't been on for a while cause I actually convinced to give up and that 5 was enough. The last few weeks I have been really strong but I was going through my diary today and noticed O was coming up and I started getting all clucky again and my son really wants a brother. I just don't know, I am confused right now I do want another baby but I also want to focus on me for a while, all my kids are close and I feel like I've had a baby for 10 years. I became a mum just over 10 years ago and I've been changing nappies ever since. 10 years of nappies is a long time. I've never had a break, my previous child is still in nappies when I have the next baby. I had 3 in nappies at one stage. wow sorry for the life story.

My friend has GBBBB and she just found out she is having a girl, she didn't sway and it was an unplanned pregnancy, it's sort of giving me some hope that it can happen but I also feel I won't be as lucky as she was.

I am not getting much EWCM actually I don't even think it is true EWCM, I've noticed a pattern I get some on CD14, CD19 and CD24 every month.

Hi All thanks for the welcome

Well I thought I was due to ovulate sunday so made hubby release last night, but now I've just had a positive OPK damm it!! So do you think I should wait until maybe 12pm tomorrow that would maker it around 38 hrs since hubby released and 24 since the OPK. What do you think????

Don't know what to do about the egg white either, really scared that thats what caused my miscarriage :-(

Thanks

Usually how long after your OPK do you ovulate?

I don't think the EW would have caused your M/C, I think if anything the EW would have stopped you from getting pregnant in the first place. I am so sorry for your loss xxx

Dloui - awe thanks! Timing isn't proven but if you can hit an O-2 and O that's your best chance to get preggo and, in theory get a boy. And yes deep penetration is best, gets all those little swimmers right up to the cervix. As far as preseed goes it's great if you don't have enough ewcm but if you can get copious amounts of your own ewcm I'd skip it. For me fish oil and green tea created horrifying amounts lol

Bec - thanks! Fx this is your month!

AMS- huge congrats on your bfp and I'm totally the pot calling the kettle black but try not to worry. Many of us, myself included, have had healthy babies following a mc :)

Strawbell - do you know how soon after the +opk you O? Some women rapid fire and drop the egg in 12-24 hrs others it takes 24-48.

Well .... I have been missing in action for a while now... But after my mc in august .... I am very nervously writing that I got a BFP today (also my bday) ...

I think I may have the secret to getting bfp..... Plan a girls weekend away full of drinking and dancing.... Looks I will be the sober friend. This time then!!

I must admit though I am scared that I will mc again bit fingers crossed!! Good luck to all tcc and congrats to those with bfp's!!!

Congrats, AMS! I will totally get on that weekend planning thing now......

Strawbell, I would go for it tonight or tomorrow morning for sure. Did you test super early this morning? What is your opk-taking schedule? IF you didn't take one since 9am yesterday, I would assume that you actually got a + yesterday and it is still + this morning so you will want to dtd tonight to catch that egg. Don't worry about timing, it doesn't sway. 24 hours is fine if your hubby has a normal sperm count (you can assume it is if your other kids didn't take much time to conceive!). Good luck!!!!

The + opk doesn't necessarily mean you're going to O today...it can be up to 36 hrs after I believe, so maybe try tomorrow night instead? Unless you know that you O earlier after a +opk.

I wouldn't worry about the e/w...it wouldn't cause m/c, it's just one of those things that happens and no one knows why. I had 2 myself, and I tell myself that they were too special for earth so they're angels in heaven!

I am getting SO antsy waiting for our attempt this month! It almost feels as bad as the 2WW! I swear if we don't fall preggo this month I'm going to have to stop temping and everything because it's really driving me nuts--the days tick by so slowly and I just can't get my mind off things! And I try to stay busy with the kids, but even that doesn't seem to help...I've just got a bad case of baby fever and even my dreams are filled with babies! I guess that's just how it is when ttc....sigh

LBAM - Maybe in your situation you should do what TTC5 did, stop swaying and all the stuff that goes with it, just DTD when you and your DH feel like it, and if you fall pg then it was ment to be.

Strawbell - Similar thing happened to me last month, got the +opk before i was predicting it so crammed 3 BDs in over 3 days, obvioulsy that didn't work out for us. So this month i have been DTD every second day, i figured that way it wouldn't matter when i got the +opk, i would be covered.

Hi everybody
I think you have all moved onto this thread now? I was posting in the Jan thread?

I must apologise for my lack of posts - been dealing with sick children (they got my bugs!), and then husband dropped a bit of a bombshell and decided to inform me that he REALLY didn't want anymore babies!! Some of the reasons even had me doubting it too... so needed some timeout to do some soulsearching.
We seem to be back on track now though and I am once again, excited at the thought of my sway! We are going to keep at this, and take each month as it comes! I think that at times, the idea of all this seems overwhelming and even (dare I say it??!) and impossibility?
Thankfully, we did keep taking the supplements, I continued the diet and have been taking my temps, checking my CM everyday in case - didn't want to lose a precious month in getting to know my body again post contraceptive pill ;-)
on the downside, I have put on weight :-(...through this 'unsure' time, found I was comfort-eating and in particular, loads of chocolate!! So am sure I have messed my blood sugar levels up.. *sigh* Need to get back on track soon - we want to TTC in May...
Do you guys think that I could start a bit of jogging to try and get some of the added weight off?? I know cardio swyas girl, but need to so something!
Good to be back!
Yahmama - good luck!!!!

Hi All hope you all had a good wknd.

It was my youngest's 3rd birthday so very manic and we had snow in England.

Well to update my cycle has been very strange, I had a +pok on Friday which threw me as I wasn't expecting it that early! I did 3 opk's that day 1pm, 3pm & 7pm - they were all positive but the 7pm was lighter so thought to myself that was the surge! My husband had released the night before, so we left it 24 hrs and had sex on the sat about 3pm. However, woke up on sunday morn with no temp surge! Did another opk and there was still a line but not dark.

This is unusual for me as I normally get a +opk then a temp surge 2 mornings later, I also normally only have +opk for about 8hrs then the line completely disappears. So I thought what the heck we'll do it again, gave the birthday girl a dvd to watch and sweets to eat :-) and went at it again.

With all my daughters I had sex after a +opk and only dtd the once, so thought maybe we should just go with it and dtd through ovulation. However, woke up this morn and my temp has gone up but not by much and i was drinking wine last night which normally sends my temp up anyway, so now I am really confused.

I had a very soft low and open cervix yesterday and lots of cm. Its it possible not to ovulate if you have a +opk and all the other sysmptoms???? I've tried looking up anovulatory cycles but it doesn't say whether you do or don't.

Sorry for the very long post and thanks for your help.

Me too. Luckily for us, if you are being fertility-friendly, you are swaying blue.....so I try to just eat well and take vitamins and use preseed and such. I only took 1 opk yesterday because I had o pains and was just curious (and it was way +) so we were just on the dtd every other day plan this month, although we ended up dtd on Sat morning and then Sunday night, and I think I o'ed sometime last night. LBAM, I think it's worth a shot to ease up on the swaying if it's bumming you out to ttc so long. At least have a couple of months of being more laid back and see if it helps maybe?

OK, good! I took 50mg for a few months (untested) and could totally tell a difference. My skin got way oily and broke out and I got a bit more aggressive than usual. I know it jacked my T level up. And funny thing is I got pg and then had the empty sac m/c, so I kinda always worry that it caused that, even though it probably didn't.

Apparently you can have a couple of lh surges if you don't actually O the first time, kind of like a false positive, then your body will try again a little later. I think that happened to me this time too, but i didnt keep doing the opk's, so i really won't know for sure. FF gave me the dotted line on my chart on CD23, but this morning after i enterd my temp, it took it away saying i may not have Od :(. Here is where i am, My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3061e7) if anyone can have a look i would appreciate thoughts. all the chinese gender charts vary so its hard to say. after 6 children they have all been about 50/50 for me. usually i will get 3 correct and 3 incorrect. most of them did say this one was yet another girl but i was confirmed boy a few weeks ago. i find it very hard to believe that all children conceived on the same day in the same part of the country are all the same gender. a few years ago my best friend ( she lives across town) and i got pregnant at the same time. we had the same due date. its true what they say sometimes gals who spend alot of time together get on the same cycle. she had a boy, i had a girl.

Hi ladies! I know I haven't been around in a while but I had been kinda down and out. After the m/c in August, I had another chemical pregnancy in December. Heartbreaking. So DH was scheduled for a semen analysis on January 11th. We got the results back a few days later and it showed 14.7 million sperm :( What a blow that was! His motility was 75% and morphology was 71% so those numbers were normal. I started him on 200mg CoQ10, 2000mg L-Arginine, and 1000mg of Tribulus along with his normal supps. I know it takes around 3 months for these things to work. And the urologist suggested we "save up" DH's swimmers before I actually O. So, we had a 5 day abstinence this cycle. Woke up this morning at 9 dpo

all the chinese gender charts vary so its hard to say. after 6 children they have all been about 50/50 for me. usually i will get 3 correct and 3 incorrect. most of them did say this one was yet another girl but i was confirmed boy a few weeks ago. i find it very hard to believe that all children conceived on the same day in the same part of the country are all the same gender. a few years ago my best friend ( she lives across town) and i got pregnant at the same time. we had the same due date. its true what they say sometimes gals who spend alot of time together get on the same cycle. she had a boy, i had a girl.
thanks for your reply Girlmom n big congrats on the boy....just wondering...was the lunar age for you n your friend same? If not then you both can have different gender as per the chart.

TTC5...just curious...did you put your LUNAR age and still came out wrong? I always thought chineese gender prediction was wrong for me..until I found out this one...which is correct for me and some of my friends n family members....I am happy to know that it's wrong for few people here though :) I don't want to believe in this but you know..how we feel about doing it the perfect way..

Sure did!
This time is says girl for me though lol maybe that means boy for me HAHAHA

Bec - thanks for looking at my chart. Last week, when there is a big spike up in temp, my DP was sick, had a really bad fever, i think it spiked that day because he was spooning me and he was like an oven. I did not show any symptoms of the same sickness. And stupid me did not chart my temps after O was confirmed last cycle, oh well, live and learn.

Alexis - OH WOW, that is such a great thing to wake up to, and only 9DPO! I never get tired of seeing those pics. Congratulations.

5, so happy that everything is looking great! Is this bub due on your DH's birthday? I remember you saying something about that.

Cinss, it's hard being in the 2ww but even harder when you're not 100% sure when you O'd. This month I made sure my doctor ordered me a blood test at 7dpo to check for sure.

Gosh I am so impatient...but I don't want it to happen too soon either or I may miss the eggie. Wonder how close a full positive is?? Tonight, tomorrow?? DH gets home some time tomorrow, not sure if they will let him come home straight away or if he will have to go back to the office until 4pm. I am pretty sure we will go for it when he gets home and again 24hrs later, maybe even 24 after that to be sure lol. Hope thats a good enough attempt.

OMG...I guess if being obsessive and controlling sways boy...I am obviously doing something right!! LOL

PoP - Not far off a full positive, i think a good thing to do is look at the last test you did (by itself) then ask your self "is this the same or darker than the control line" because when you place it next to the others, visually it looks +. Haha i keep picturing your hubby walking in the front door and getting jumped on hahaha.

Cinss - I think you ovulated on CD23 too but I'm not a great chart expert!

Princess of Pink - My positives always look like your last one, they never really go quite as dark as the test line but near enough!

Well after my confusing weekend but temp went up again today and fertility friend is saying I ovulated on CD17 which would be great as thats the day we DTD, we did DTD sunday to cover all bases - so that makes me 3dpo!

OH my, CONGRATS, Alexis! That is good news!!!! I am so intrigued by how you saved up sperm and that worked well! I may try that next month. Everything you read about low count says to dtd every other day so they don't get old in there. I am so happy for you! HUGE FX that this one sticks!!!!!! How did your DH take that news about his count? It is hard for them, for sure. SO glad the supps worked and things are just fine.

My CM is really weird this cycle too. I can't even explain the consistency because I have never seen it like this ever! I got a +ve last night at 8.30pm (I am pretty sure). Now I know you don't use FMU normally but I wanted to check this morning and see if still +ve or if it was even darker maybe. But I think it seems a tad lighter? Is it normal for it to go neg so quickly and do you O when it's neg? (hasn't even been 12hrs since the +ve) or is it just because it was FMU? Will test again at 9.30am.

CM can change very quickly, in a matter of hours, i wouldn't be too worried, comparing to your last cycle, you will be in the temp dip for 4 days, i think your cm will change in the next day or 2. Have you got any preeseed to use if you decide to BD while your CM is this consistency? And the other really good sign is an open cervix.

Yes mine did the same thing this cycle, i only got 1 + and the next one was - the next day. If you got your + at 8.30 last night - you will O (12-36hrs later) anytime between 8.30am today - 8.30pm tomorrow. I think it is great that your hubby will be home today for your attempt.

Thank you ladies!

Lola-DH wasn't too upset as we knew it would be low. I was hoping for at least 20 million since that's about what it was last time he had a SA in 2005. But GAH, 14.7 million???!!! He didn't enjoy chugging the 8 or 9 pills a day (which I still have him take just in case). But, yeah, looks like it worked. He was referred to a urologist that specializes in infertility, but our insurance wouldn't pay for that, so I didn't bother booking an appt. I just dosed him up on supps.

It seems that with each of the chemical pregnancy, we had a 4 day abstinence with O on CD 13. With this one we had a 5 day abstinence and O on CD 15. I did no sway of any kind. I just took prenatals, folic acid, B6, and actually took Vitex this cycle since I feel some of my hormones are out of whack. The doctor just hasn't figured out what. I am hoping for a sticky, healthy baby. But I really hope it turns out to be a boy!

Thank you all for your congrats and I'm accepting prayers for a sticky bean!

You're right, it's already started to get whitish/cloudy/more abundant today, so hopefully by tomorrow or Friday it will be EWCM! I ALWAYS O first in the early am hours, so I'm thinking it might be Fri am going by my pattern. (I have charted using an app on my iPad for 6 months, and only have 2 mo in FF so I could share here, but on all those months it was early am on day of the 4th temp dip)

I agree with this, lots of protein in cottage cheese - get the highest fat content you can find (I think it's 4% in cottage cheese?). And yes, regular bacon.

Well actually IM not sure when we try I don't even know what day is my cycle today I just have to wait for AF so I know. I think it's coming next week.
Also I lost 18lbs so I have to be on the diet first. Im thinking I try on the second cycle.not sure...
I got rid of everything even my CB monitor. have to go today to buy some sups. We already sold the baby crib, play plan ect!
My DH signed up for gym he will try to loose some weight and build muscle . (poor guy really hopping I guess)
We will focus on the diet and some workout. Take a lot less sups and don't care about pH, moon, BS , timing ,ions , biorhythm , and all the hard drinks.(I just don't think anymore this stuff helps ) I try not to put on much weight this time.
I forgot a lot already so I do the "personal plan " to makes sure we do it right because there is no way on earth we try again.
Wish me luck!

I forgot a lot already so I do the "personal plan " to makes sure we do it right because there is no way on earth we try again.
Wish me luck!

Flav, that sounds like a perfect plan! How on earth did you lose 18lbs? I know you posted somewhere, but that is great!

Lola and MFC - My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3061e7)

I looked at your chart too, and I would say CD23, but I guess it is weird that your temps never went higher? Seems like FF would have said if they thought you O'ed, but you know, I sometimes think FF isn't all that accurate. I have had a few disagreements with that program.

Thank you Lola. I wish I could be excited, LOL.

Thank you to everyone who looked at my chart. I have never had an Anovulatory Cycle before, but doing google searches it seems it is quite common. Never mind, i will just keep eating eggs and drinking pills blah blah blah.

MFC, not long til the scan :) FX!

Yahmama, hopefully O isn't too far away. Good luck.

dloui, bacon and cottage cheese are both perfectly fine. I eat heaps of bacon.

Flava, you are really trying again?! Yay! That is fantastic. Well done on the weight loss too. What did you do to lose the weight?

Cinss, I'm sorry you didn't O. I know how frustrating it is to 'waste' a cycle.

Lola, how many dpo are you?

I am having a progesterone blood test tomorrow and then if it confirms I O'd I will test in another week. Having lots of cramps and backaches again so hoping that means I have at least O'd. My temps are up so I think I did.

Don't say that :) Still too early to tell, I know it is easier said than done, but try to think positive. You did everything you could and now everything in God hands, Just pray.

Thanks everyone for hoping it was implant spotting, but this morning it is more of the same, so it is AF starting. It makes sense because i didn't O, so i was never DPO i was just DP nothing :( I feel really ripped off, a whole month wasted and here i am back to CD1.

Lola - FF did not detect O for me, my temps and saliva microscope did not confirm O, and the OPK got dark but not dark enough, my cervix did go HSO but there was really no EWCM it was watery.

Oh damn :(

I don't know what is going with my cycle, I don't know if I am in the 2ww or if I am waiting to O
I've been getting a small of EWCM and some cloudy EWCM but it seems to happen every 2-3 days.
I've been checking my cervix and one day it felt really swollen and longish. I've never felt it like that before.

lbam - have you been temping? I remember you tried doing it a while back and gave up because you kept forgetting? If you have an alarm clock or you can set an alarm on your phone to remind you to do it every morning i think that would help. Are you doing OPT's? A longish cervix is not a fertile sign, it has to be soft and the entrance has to be wide enough so that you could dip the tip of your finger in there. Its normal for your CM to switch from cloudy to EW a couple of times before O. What CD are you on now?

LBAM, like Cinss said, I would really look at going back to temping and using OPKs. Otherwise you really can't be sure when you O. And if you don't know when you O it's going to be harder to conceive. Temping and using OPKs will really help you I think. You just need to motivate yourself to do them!

No I haven't been tempting, I haven't been doing anything cause I am not swaying this cycle just going with the flow and see what happens. Yeah it is normal for my CM to switch back and forth all the time.

If I am not pregnant this month I am thinking of having a few months off, so I will probably start using OPT and try to temp next time I ttc.

So I went to the toilet and when I wiped I had some EWCM on the toilet paper and that hardly ever happens, usually have to check my cervix to find some.
My cervix feels softer then usual so not sure if O is happening.
We haven't DTD for about 5days so think we should do it tonight just incase, what do you think?

February 9th, 2012, 08:32 AM
Well we didn't DTD hubby was too tired from work and he has a tooth ache and been on anti biotics.
I thought thats ok, I am not very confident this month, we DTD 5-6 days ago so if I am Oing now I should be safe not to fall pregnant and I was ok with my decision.
BUT my friend just had a baby yesterday and she sent me some pics tonight and awwwwwww I am so clucky now I wish we had DTD

We DTD last night...my cm was going ew and ct was soft, but for some reason, cp wasn't as high as it usually is. My temp was up this morning, so glad we went ahead and dtd last night since my lowest dip in temp was yesterday morning. Guess I'll have to see what my temps do the next few days and see where FF pinpoints it...

Bec, hope your test shows a nice high level! Cramps and all sound like a good sign!

I am only a few dpo, but I'm not even thinking about it this month. I got my hopes up way too high last month because I thought we had a good try, but it's really best for me to assume I am not pg each month so I don't have such an emotional roller coaster.

Hobber, please don't get disappointed about anything yet......you could be all worried and upset for the next 10 weeks only to find out that it is a boy and you tortured yourself for nothing. Try to stay on the fence about it if you can and stay positive....I think it is better for your baby for you to feel good inside.

February 9th, 2012, 10:42 AM
Totally agree LiL this really can feel a bit like a rollercoaster of a ride at times!
and I also agree with what you are thinking .. keeping positive, but not letting hopes get way too high is definitely the way to keep sane in all of this! Hang in there Hobbermittens, its the unknown for now... easier said than done, but try hard to keep positive.

Yahmama - excited for ya!!
Cinss, really hoping that your next cycle is THE one!
LBaM - I truly believe that we are guided through all of this, so maybe, if you had DTD, it wouldn't have been what you were crossing fingers for ;) If you do decide to take a break from all of this, enjoy a little time away from the rollercoaster ride! I must say that my recent 'timeout' was really good for me! I seemed to get a renewed enegry for all the temping etc...
Bec, FX for you!!!
MFC - good luck!
TTC5 - whats happening your end?

I am still 'practicing' with all the different elements... almost positive I o'd yesterday - finding the ovulation microscope really effective! Checking 4 times a day and when I O, its so clear! the transition in and out of O is really obvious to me! Had O pains the day before (actually felt swollen!) and LOADS of EWCM last 3 days. Cerv very high and soft yesterday. It was two days early according my previous cycle so I am quite glad I am checking this all out a few months in advance of our attempt! not sure yet if my cycles are still trying to stabilise, or if I am just irregular! Only problem I seem to have right now is my low pH :-(

hobber-for sure you can have a boy in there!

just like ttc5 but for some reason I think she is a done deal , she got a boy.

lbam- we have to start temping I so hate that alarm...and thinking oh if I was up to pee then now this temp is not right? ugh...I don't care I will only temp just to see my cycle and I pee all night if I want to! lol

For the weight loss yeah I lost 18 lbs but still have 19 left on me lol. I just eat very little and run around outside with the kids. This is the only cooler time around here so we can go out!
