Hi Atomic, I was looking into some vitamin supplements. Can you please have a look at the details in the attached pic? Is it good for boy sway? Its called RADIANCE multivitamin - with Iron, one a day. Suitable for vegetarians. Food supplement with sugar and sweetener.
Thanks in advance. 41671

Whenever you get sometimes to have a look atomic [emoji4]. I was casually looking at some multi vitamins with D as my doc recommended vit D for my extreme back pain. So I thought to look into something that is also blue friendly.
Many thanks

I would probably not take those. They have miniscule levels of most things and quite a lot of Vit. A in them (see all the warnings on the Vit. A!) so you'd be getting more than you need of Vit. A and not enough of most other things.

Can you tell me more about your back pain?? Has the doctor run any tests??? That is something that should be investigated and not given vitamins!!! Just want to be sure the doc is not putting off some care for you that really needs to be done.

Ah thank you so much Atomic. I was waiting for your reply before buying, I will look into others. Please let me know if there are any other that I could take which wont have any impact on my body when I start swaying. Just need Vit D as well if that helps with my back pain at all. I hope Vit D isnt swaying opposite.
I started back pain after my delivery. I was told to take Vit D for a week. It went away after few weeks. It was around 2-4 months after delivery. Doc said it is common for women after birth and didn’t do any tests but asked few questions and asked me to move and stretch etc at that time.
Now it is back and I have it for around 2 weeks now. I have no Idea what I did to trigger it. I always avoid any lifting. I do get light backaches when I do deep cleaning and for the next 1 or 2 days. This isn’t like that. It is not going away and it is on the left lower side. I get this burning pain when I stand. I struggle to change positions in sleep.. get up from
Sofa etc. My baby is now 1 year and 2 months and I am breastfeeding. I didn’t goto doc this time, waiting for appointment. I live in UK and its really hard to get appointments here. Even if I did, most probably they will send me back asking to take some painkillers. I will pressure for referral to a specialist this time. Currently I am doing hot bottles and a cream to ease the pain to try and do basic day to day things. Really hard with kids [emoji20].
I am not thinking to try for a baby soon, so not swaying soon but I like to slowly change my lifestyle to try for boy, so even with vitamins I like to ensure they are ok for boys.
I also read that having kids closer will increase the chance of having girl again. If that’s true how old the youngest should be, especially when I am planning to continue breastfeeding until she is 1.6 at least or around 1.8 years. Should I wait another year after I stop bfeeding for my body to get back to normal?
Many thanks for your time and reply. Really helps. Xx

Yes it is common after delivery, I think the Vitamin D was more of a placebo, though. I doubt it really helped with your pain but absolutely feel free to take it, it will help your sway.
I do strongly urge you to get it checked though. At this point I can't see how it could be just normal transition after childbirth and I want to be sure you're not suffering from anything that might worsen over time.
I understand, that makes sense to start vitamins and stuff now! The blue sway supps we recommend are all fine to take as far in advance of your sway as you like.
I am fine with you trying at any point after 18 months (even if still nursing). The longer it's been postpartum the less the effect of the breastfeeding, we think. You don't need to stop nursing and you for sure don't need to stop nursing and then wait a whole year afterwards! Just do what you can do now and then see how it goes.

Hi, thanks so much.
I finally got an appointment and Waiting for blood result ( to see if I have lack of vit) and also asked for urine test ( to see any hidden infection). Referred me for Physiotherapy as well. Didn’t do any scan so little disappointed but I thought to wait for blood and urine result as well as start Physiotherapy. Pain moved from mid left to very left now.
Ah Alright- thanks . I will continue bfeeding, until she is 2.
That’s the max I am planning to nurse but probably will start to stop around 1year 8 months and then probably wait until she is 2 and half before ttc. So that once the baby is here she will be at nursery as well. Meantime, i will do everything I can, to make my body more boy friendly.
Until I am ready for ttc officially, can I ask all my sway related doubts here?

Hi Atomic, Happy New Year.
I am back here after long break but I do come to read latest posts on discussions sometimes.
My girl will be 2 years next month.
Omg time is flying.
I had a detailed checkup with my backache issue and did MRI scan from back home. The doc said nothing serious but I need to physio exercises. Here at London, Doc came back with blood results and they asked me to take vitD tablets and physio . They said I have lack of vit D and prescribed me some to take continuously, reducing the amount after the first course. I haven’t started physio yet, my appointment is coming up.
Good news- I discussed about the “sway” with my hus and he was interested to know all about it. I mentioned to him about cycling and he agreed to pause cycling for 3 months for me, also agreed to take vit tabs if required but he sounded like nothing more but I thought to see when its closer to our sway [emoji16]..
I just stopped bfeeding, thinking to wait some more time- i don’t feel ready yet or scared of gd? I don’t know. I gained a lot of weight recently and suddenly. I don’t know why, if i started eating more boy food automatically as I read too much info on boy sway and diet lol. I feel ssoo bloated . I did eat more beef and lamb last few weeks if I look back.
3 months of no cycling should be fine right? Stop for 3 months then try, hopefully I get preg quick as i cannot stop him cycling for too long.
Some of the Indian food we have at home are probably not so popular, so I am not sure if they are ok or not and find it ssoo hard. If i mention some of them, will you be able to say, if they are a big NO for boy sway?

The vitamin D and physio should only help your sway.
Hey, if he gives up cycling that is HUGE. It will really help, as will the supplements.
I would have you cut back on carbs, particularly sugary things, and focus on lean meat, healthy fats, fruit and veg. And add in weight lifting if you can to slow down the weight gain.
Yes sure go ahead and post. I have a lot of Indian clients and know some about Indian cuisine, and everything else I can always Google!

Hi Atomic,
Thanks you.
Alright, I will continue with VitD and physio as your advise. I will list below most of the food items that we make at home both Indian and other. Please let me know if there are any food/ingredient that I should avoid for boy sway.
I will break down as bf-lunch-dinner and snacks. this was not the same when I had my girls.
My Breakfast ( around 9-9:30am)- not Indian most of the time unless I have any left overs from dinner that I feel like eating for bf.
1- boiled egg with butter & jam on toasted bread or 2 hash brown with baked beans with some mushroom and some spinach or milk with one of the granola cereal or Quaker oats OR tuna mayo & cheese with pickled cucumber - toasted sandwich with 50/50 bread. I have a nice strong tea with milk and sugar ( 2 tea spoon :D).
I don't eat much between bf and lunch. sometimes a crisp or an orange/banana, not everyday ( I think fruits are not much included in my diet as much as veg and meat)
Lunch - ( mostly around 1-1.30)
1. usually I eat a portion of rice , a brown/red rice. I add a good portion of veg as a side with one of the curries- mostly fish, beef or chicken. sometimes veg curry with a non veg fry on the side and some rice. Veg sides are usually beetroot, beans, cabbage, spring green, courgette, etc- all this are made with some oil and mustard seed. I also add a lot of crushed coconut with green chilly & salt
I have black tea between lunch and dinner, with biscuits, rusk or some Indian snacks like bombay mix etc OR weekend treats Samosa/onion baji etc
Dinner- 6-630pm.
1. Dosai
2. few dishes made out of rice flour and wheat flour (like chapati).
4. curries - sambar ( it is a vegetarian mix curry, main veg that I use are - drumsticks (veg), carrots, onion, tomatoes, lady finger, beans and potatoes, with some dal. .
other curries I make once or more in 2 weeks - chickpea , all types of dal ( chana, moong, split, orange), chicken, beef , lamb (once a month), fish curry, sea foods ( frequently- mussels, prawns, squid, crab ).
5. I also cook chicken or minced beef pasta, beef/chicken lasagne or beef spaghetti .
Husband - he eats whatever I mentioned above His Breakfast is mainly cereal with full fat milk. he add extra nuts ( cashew, badam, pista and raisins) in his breakfast cereal. He loves egg, he eats 2 eggs a day at least 4 days in a week. only drinks black tea with 1 sugar or no sugar if it is more than 2 cups. he snacks more than me while he is at work. nuts, dried dates, raisins and some odd days a pack of crisp. his lunch is chicken and salad take away or pack lunch ( dinner left over) and some days I make chicken wrap or soup.
so these are the recent food items.
If I look back to the time when I had my girls- I was working and i never snacked in between except some fruits (mainly banana/apple) at work when I feel little hungry. BF was always a tea at work with a croissants bought on the way or just a tea. dinner was whatever mom made/take away. I think breakfast is a big change now as I am at home fulltime , I also eat more meat these days ( tummy is ssoo bloated though)
We do eat outside Once a week/2 weeks
ohh god I wrote too much- hope this is ok.

Thank you.
I was just not sure about mustard seeds and pickles.. especially lemon. I sometimes feel that having lemon pickle makes my period short with less flow on that month i had it more - which made me think if I am having something that can turn opposite. Ssoo nervous and sleepless as I am getting prepared [emoji15]
I will be concentrating more on HE diet closer to my sway and try my best to avoid other items that I am unsure. 6 weeks strict HE diet is ok? Or shall I do little more? I just want to do everything I can this time and not feel bad later .

Nothing like that can possibly matter unless you were eating massive amounts. Dietary amounts of all those things are fine.
6 weeks HE Diet has gotten good results. It's only the pink swayers who needed to do more like 12.

Hi Atomic,
Since September I gained so much weight. About 8/9kg. [emoji20] is that too much for a boy sway? I wish to exercise and loose or maintain my weight. I have gone above my Bmi. I should be 7kg less to be in normal bmi.
Also I remember you mentioned about weigh lifting exercise, shall i just follow any light instructions from youtube? I never did it and wonder if its ok with little backache issues?
I like swimming and i like to walk or jog in treadmill. Is it not helpful for boy sway? What’s your opinion?
My plan was to do after ramadan as you know ramadan will give high chance for a girl, and diet is not possible. i feel sso stresses with home schooling and change of life style with current situation so maybe i will drag little further to end of year and see how things are.
Will ttc at winter help for a boy? I read somewhere cold helps boys and warm for girls.
Thank you xx

What is your BMI now?
I like PopSugar Fitness and Blogilates. (I do them myself!) Yes musclebuilding exercises can be great for people with bad backs, just be sure if anything hurts, to stop doing that particular exercise.
Swimming, walking, and jogging are also allowed on blue sways. Just be sure you don't do any type of exercise more than 45 minutes at a time, 4-5 days a week.
It may be that after Ramadan you've lost a bit of weight then anyway and can regroup and start over. If you're eating a lot of carby stuff (like bananas and fruit juice) we may want to cut back on them.
Everyone is struggling right now with this strange situation!! Just do your best and if anything a bigger gap between kiddos will only help with your blue sway.
The idea that winter sways blue is that old outdated ion theory that doesn't work (I have a long explanation here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/63173-ion-insanity.html) Scientific studies have indicated that in the Northern Hemisphere the boy peak months are Sept-Nov, and the girl peak months are Mar-may. In the Southern Hemisphere the peaks are reversed and the girl peaks are in Sept-Nov, boys in Mar-May. Around the equator the peaks don't seem to do much.

Hi atomic,
As I was reading some posts..just thought to ask you a doubt. You mentioned
Unprotected sex every 2-4 days in few places.. so does this mean release inside or unprotected but no release inside( sorry too much info). I just wanted to clarify and not misunderstand anything and feel worried later lol[emoji1].
If it is, I was wondering what if I get preg at the first attempt? Just asked as I got pregnant for both my kids at the first month.
For my first- just one attempt (have no idea about opk) and for 2nd baby around opk positive 2 attempt only, which makes me feel like I would probably get pregnant quickly ( though it can vary as we get older and with diet changes etc i might not get preg the first month)

Hi, my BMI is 27 currently. It was 24 in September 2019. It says it should be between 46.8 - 63.2kg for healthy weight for my height.
Thanks you so much for the links. I read through. I will not worry much about the cold weather then.. and focus more on my diet and exercise.
I also had a look at the YouTube channels- thank you. I will wait for Ramadan to end to start as It is hard to any exercise for me while fasting. So tiring after usual house works and running after kids. You are right inlost 1.5kg already from fasting. Hopefully some more by end of the month. Xx

Release inside, unprotected. You don't have to do this if it makes you feel too nervous, but it is how many of us got our boys (myself included!)
If you are careful not to have unprotected sex in the fertile window you won't get pregnant, but you have to be very careful!

Since you're on Tapatalk you may need to read the links from another browser. We sometimes have issues with Tapatalk and opening links.
We need to stop the weight loss (and even lose a bit - NOT all of it, maybe 10 lbs or about 5 kg or so) We have had some people who gained too much then lost some and still had boys so that's not a dealbreaker. I want you to cut out things like fruit juice, dry fruit, potatoes, bananas, and grain foods (or at least cut way back on them) and sugar as much as possible, because these things can be replaced by other things in your sway. And then when Ramadan is over, start exercise.

Links worked fine using taptalk. The only prob i have noticed with taptalk is that it hang while i read forums and i cant scroll up/down or go back etc. I need to close the app and run again to get back. The good thing is it remembers where I stopped and I can go back to where I stopped reading.
You think my current weight gain is still good for boy sway? I did not want to loose much if my weight gain is a plus for boy sway.. but I was worried if gaining too much will end up helping to have a girl. My plan was to loose whatever I gained after the baby but for now most important for me to get a healthy baby boy. [emoji7]
I will see where Ramadan takes me with weight. Once ramadan is over I will start with all supps and tabs and workout.

Everything changed with diet in ramadan. I drink 2 cups of tea most of the days. I need sugar in my tea. My tea cup is little larger than the usual cups (450ml) so I use 2 tea spoons of granulated sugar. One is a milk tea and I have a black tea later sometimes I try to reduce from 2 teaspoons to 1 1/2. Do you think the amount of tea is bad for boy diet?? I can cut down to one black tea with 1 1/2 tea spoon of sugar a day. I was thinking to do thst slowly but in ramadan i get headache if if I didn’t.
I have a good bowl of fruits ( mixed of some grapes, half apple, one kiwi, half banana, 1/4 mango) and I add a small scoop of ice cream. Some days I replace it with some chunks if water melon. Otherwise I don’t really eat bananas etc that much and outside ramadan i am not a good fruit eater. My sugar intake is more with the tea or a bite of chocolate or Indian sweets ( not big fan strong sweets)
I try to have oats with full fat milk when I wake to eat at night in ramadan... but I feel scared ttc anywhere closer to my ramadan diet because my previous ttc. So i am thinking my body would overwrite everything 2 months after ramadan so around aug time.. so ttc between Aug - Dec .. [emoji1696] . What do you think??

Oh good I'm glad the Tapatalk behaved itself! :)
I honestly can't know if it's good or bad, what I do know is I don't want you to gain any more! Gaining weight very fast may hurt your sway. So we need to be sure to avoid those carby things I mentioned. And if a little comes off, that's ok.
I always had that much tea if not more when I got my boys! I love tea and drank tons of it (gave it up to get my girl.) I would try to cut down the sugar, but the tea itself will only help.
The sugar in the fruits and ice cream can contribute to weight gain. If you could cut back a bit especially on the ice cream and the banana it may help slow the wegiht gain.
Oats with full fat milk is great! As long as we get a handle on the rapid weight gain you can likely continue that.

Hi, I am back as the fasting and celebration are all over. I lost 2-3 kg during fasting but I guess I will gain it back as I continue eating more times during the day now . I will be cutting down the carbs and sugar and hope it helps me from Gaining too much but also not loose so much that I end sway pink.
I had another question in my head. When I went for my cervix screening ( just a routine check up NHS reminds us to do)- the nurse said my cervix opening is to the left/right. I don’t remember exactly and this was before I had any babies (6/7 years ago) so I didn’t understand much. I had no issues with both my pregnancies and I also conceived the first Month we tried. I wonder if there are any kind of limits which may stop y sperm to enter or slow to enter because it is tilted to one side? Sorry if this is a stupid thing but I wanted to clear this from my head. Hope it’s ok.

No not at all, not a stupid question! We don't believe a tipped uterus (cervix pointing a different way) sways at all. I have a badly tipped uterus and I have 4 boys! You can try laying down on your belly for part of the time, and even on your sides too, to be sure the cervix comes into contact with the semen, that may help boost odds a bit.

Thank you so much. I feel better now- I always wondered about it.
My plan is to try ttc around nov- dec-jan. My husband is away from work for more than 2 months now. ( this means he haven’t done any cycling for this long) .. it would have been perfect if he doesn’t need to go back to office until end of this year. I am tempted to try now ( as hez not cycling) but I do not want to jump in as I am not ready with supps and diet plus I wanted to buy the plan closer to the time of ttc.

As long as there's 250% (1000 IU) of D in the vitamin (which one a day has) you do not need more on top of it
Avoid the kind with Omega 6. Too much Omega 6 may sway pink and you'll be getting some thru diet (unavoidably) anyway. Focus on the kind that has Omega 3 in it hopefully no more than 500 mg. Cod liver oil is ok as long as it's purified

If i sign up with other ID i will have to deal with 2 usernames. I sent a tech support message so waiting. Yes, you need to take both vitamins and probiotic.
Probiotics help your body to digest food and get more nutrients from the things you eat. We have good results with them for blue.

Ok. It sometimes takes me a couple days to get through all my messages so I just haven't gotten to that one yet. You shouldn't need two usernames to buy a plan. Can you try using a different browser and not Tapatalk?? Sometimes when people click on links Tapatalk doesn't work right so my suspicion is that you won't need to sign in again on a different browser.

Hi Atomic
I am using FemFresh Gel. Just noticed it lowers ph to 4.5. I wonder if I should stop using it.
Also my women A day and men a day is not here yet. The delivery is taking so long as it is outside UK. I couldn’t find it anywhere in the high street shops like boots/superdrugs .
I wonder if you know anyone from UK uses similar one that works same as the women a day? I feel ssoo stressed about not receiving it. I know pregnacare is not good. Please let me know if there are any successful UK brand for boy sway.

How strict are you with the intermittent fasting?
When swaying blue we really don't want to see any time where your blood sugar drops low, but the truth is that it's pretty hard to lose weight without that happening.
My preference would be for you to not do intermittent fasting and rely on lower calories and lower carb options + weight training to carry the day.

Hi just reading here about the multivitamins available in the UK..
We have Centrum but they include vitamin A and on the box it said not suitable for pregnancy..
I'm wanting a multivitamin to take before and during pregnancy.
Centrum prenatal isn't available in UK only the womens multivitamin one is, but just concerned about the vit A.
Pregnacare is widely available but iveread reviews against it too.
Just want to find a good blue sway friendly multivitamin available in the UK x

Pregnacare is awful. The one you posted on the other page is also no good.
A lot of people still take Centrum anyway. I would just try to hunt down one that has more like 100% of the Daily Recommended Value and not those sky high doses.

I was thinking to skip dinner and have a good lunch and a lighter snack in the evening. Would that be ok? I also started doing excercise and weight lifting. Trying to cut down sugar and carbs.
I will continue like this for a month and see what’s happening with weight. I wish to at least pause my weight gain and then back to HE diet 8/10 weeks before my attempt.

Hi Jazmin,
I found two vitamins, which atomic said were good ones.
Either the seven seas pregnancy ones which you can get in boots/superdrug/savers.
Or if you order from Iherb they deliver to the UK within a few days and they had a really good one that I decided to get called peapod prenatal.
My plan is to start very soon, my diet already is quite boy friendly so I just wanted to add the vitamims in there and start.
How about you... when are you planning for your attempt?

Before I pause and continue with my boy diet.. what is the BMI I should aim?
I also have my backache back little bit , not sure if it the workout or overweight [emoji21]

Yes I want you to try to lose more weight on a higher protein diet with a lot of healthy carbs (fruit, veg, whole grains). Not a full keto type diet, but more like a South Beach type of diet. You won't get down as low as you were, but it's fine to drop some more weight. I won't give you a target BMI though. Please go ahead and keep lifting weights if at all possible.
December/January is a good goal to aim at, you'll have time to lose a little more.
Do start things like prenatals, probiotics, and other blue sway supps now so your body doesn't get depleted.

Hi Atomic,
Yes I have started with the following. Really wanted to get hold of women's one a day but only in amazon for delivery. I wasn't sure if i should order from amazon. I wonder if anyone in the UK has done it in the past.
However , I started with the following as the time is flying. My sway month looked too far away and now it seems sso close.
- Centrum multivitamin ( for me and husband)
- probiotic (I started , do hus need it? )
- folic acid (myself only)
- Fish Oil - ( planning both of us) i need to buy when I am out probably today.
I haven't started vit D extra supplement yet. I thought to check with you as Centrum have (10ug) 200% vit D , which looks double of Women's one a day (25mcg) in percentage wise. Can you please let me know?
The other concern I had was with biotin. Centrm have 200% (62.5ug) and women's a day had (30mcg) 100%. Is that alright?
I have also started the following :
- 500ml of lemon water .. sometimes during the day
- one green tea a day about 500ml ( 3/4 time a week)
Is there anything I have missed that I should be taking by now for January sway?
How about DH? Is he ok with multivit and fish oil? What else can he take?? Supps / drink wise? He drinks good size cup of tea 2 times a day with limited sugar.
Thank you.

Centrum is fine!
I would give the probiotic to hubby too.
Re the fish oil, they have some that are vegan that are based on algae. Look for a DHA or Omega 3 supplement rather than fish oil itself (DHA/omega 3 are IN fish oil, so you can take other products that have those things in them and it's fine)
You don't need more Vit. D than that. And a little extra biotin is ok.
Hubby can take arginine (500 mg) and carnitine (1000 mg) if he wants to.

I can't know for sure what day your O day is. If your temp goes up for 3 days that means you ovulated, typically the day before the temp rise. But just one slight temp rise alone doesn't mean you ovulated necessarily. Sorry, I wish I could be more help but I just can't know from here without more info.

According to this it looks like CD 12 to me as you have 3 days of high temps after the dip.
The O pain is not reliable. You can have O pain before, during, and after ovulation. in fact, many of us find we have worse O pains from the side that didn't ovulate, as the eggs that developed on that side but were not released are reabsorbed.
But, it's always possible that I am wrong and it was CD 13 instead. We just don't know for sure.

So if you're ovulating CD 12, attempting on CD 13 and 14 would be too late. You would be in with only one attempt on CD 12 which would sway strongly pink. If you will O on CD 12, I'd have attempts CD 11 and 12 if you are worried about timing (and try to get in with 2 attempts CD 11), and CD 10-11-12 if you don't care about timing.
But I need to point out that you may not ovulate that same day as you did this month. It really doesn't help us to predict by looking at last month's ovulation day. So I would aim at that, but keep in mind you may O sooner or later.

November 12th, 2020, 06:43 PM
Thank you Atomic.
I am not worried about timing as I did BD on the day of ovulation (solid smile on clear blue opk) and the next day for my girl 2.
So looks like timing didn't work for me much.
One thing I am conscious this time is the frequency of BD before the fertile window /ovulation.
I have mentioned before that with dd2 , we didn't have chance to bd on the month I conceived(bc of ramadan). It was just once protected after my period (4/5 days before ovulation) and then the 2 unprotected real attempt and that was it.
I was wondering how many days of gaps we should do after periods? Say for example if i done with periods on CD7- do I bd on the following days? E.g CD7, 9, 11,12?
7 and 9 will be protected- if it helps sperm quality/count. Should I need to add more release ? Or is every day release but unprotected on cd 10,11,12?
I wil keep on testing my ovulation with the next two months especially as I am adding in new supps one by one.. my ovulation can change.

Just few questions (sorry for tmi ) it is about DH sperm. I hope it is ok to ask here.
I didn't want to bother you with my questions which you may have already answered so I did a word search etc but I couldn't find the forum.
I read that higher sperm count is better boy sway
1. How do we know the sperm count is less or more ?
2. I did read somewhere in this site about lumpy/watery sperm. What is better for a boy sway? (Sorry for tmi again)
3.Does DH sperm PH matters?
4. What DH can do to make things better? Count/quality

November 25th, 2020, 03:07 PM
1.You don't without expensive testing (that you do not need). For our blue sway we just do whatever we can do to boost sperm count, and that helps everyone.
2. It doesn't matter, that has not proven to mean anything.
3. As long as it is in normal range, pH of semen is likely meaningless. If the pH is oddly high, that is actually NOT a good sign of blue, but may be a sign he has a prostate infection that needs to be treated. It VERY unusual, even unheard of for men to have naturally low pH (the likes of which are said to sway pink.) unless they're taking the pink sway supplements which your husband of course won't be. I wouldn't bother testing it unless he had some symptoms of infections (pain, blood in semen, low grade fever)
4. Everything that is in the blue sway is designed to help. We already have you guys using the safe blue sway options. The other stuff they sell on line is dangerous and does not help your sway, so please don't just go out and buy a bunch of supplements. Check with me if you want to add something in. But I think your best bet is just using what we've already discussed!

We both are not having any fish oil yet but adding coconut oil in cooking whenever we can. We also add some grated coconut in food if that helps?

Yes you want L-carnitine.
Grated coconut in food is fine if you like it but you don't need to add it as long as you're getting the coconut fat.
Hubby can lift weights 3-5 times a week. Be sure he doesn't get "the family jewels" overheated when he does.

Thank you so much.
I came across the following L-carnitine supp. Is this ok? Please can you have a look?
Also how long hubby needs to workout in a day?

I would have your husband do 30-45 minutes exercise 4-5 days a week.

Ok thank you. I will order the above for DH.
The only thing I couldn't find yet was fish oil. I have added everything else slowly onto my diet instead of starting them all at once. Thought to add fish oil if i find suitable one and if not then to leave it.
I came across the below one. How about this one? The dose shows for 2 gels I think, do you think it would be ok to have just one gel? That would make it half the dose- is that right?

Hi atomic, thank you. That is on the way.
Do you think ovulation can be delayed with multivitamin? I couldn't temp check this month as the thermo battery was dead after the first few days, so missed few days by the time I bought new batteries. This messed my chart and the app thinks I ovulated on CD9, which I thought is wrong and casually thought it will be the usual, around CD 12/13 as its been like that for months.
However, I didn't have usual cramps around cd12/13, today is cd 17! I got cramp on left side and i went and checked with the ovulation strip tester. It was positive with premom suggesting 80.
I have been ovulating around cd 13 last couple of months. So do you think maybe the supps moved my ovulation little further down this month?

I don't know for sure. If you're taking high doses of B Vitamins and a few of the different herbs those can delay O, but it may just be one of those things. CD 17/18 is still totally in normal range though.

Hi atomic. Thanks so much.
I am not taking any extra vitamins or supp other than what was mentioned here.
I am having centrum multivitamin for a months. Pro bio and folic acid recently started. I did try and add green tea but I probably had it 2/3 times this month.
I will keep a closer eye this cycle and see. Just want to ensure i wont miss o day on my coming up attempt.

Hi Atomic,
I thought to write down my sway so far.
Please let me know what you think. I just wanted to do everything to the best as I can this time as my previous one didn't work well ( that was before i found this site )
Please do have a read when you can, it is little long .
I had a weight gain this year. As your advise I have been cutting down sugar and carbs.
2 1/2 Tsp sugar to just a quarter to no sugar in tea.
no chocolates and other sweet items.
Carbs- cut down the amount of rice and have been avoiding chips and other forms of carbs such as plantain and tapioca ( i do eat little bit of chips one day on weekend as a treat). I eat my bf, lunch, evening snack and dinner. Doing workout 4-5 days per week.
Good news is that I managed to go down about 6kgs now. It is paused at this weight now for 2/3 weeks.
My planned attempt month is Jan/Feb. I don't know if trying in January will be early? At this stage what do I need to do? Resume HE diet now.
Supplement wise- it took longer than I thought for me to get supplements. I am having the following:
Multivitamin (having it for 3-4 weeks now)
Folic acid (2 weeks aprox)
Probiotics ( 1 week after changed)
Fish oil ( not yet- waiting, will arrive within 2/3 days)
Husband- he started doing weight lifting and some cardio.
Multivitamin - (same as me)
Probiotics ( same as me)
Fish oil ( waiting)
L Arg ( one week)
L Carnitine ( waiting - can start within few 2/3 days)
Now that I almost have the supps, we can continue them all in dec.
looking at all above,
what will be best month? Trying in January after resuming HE diet now plus include little more carbs
OR
ttc in February? not resume HE diet now and loose 1-2 kg more then resume diet in jan? Or
resume diet now but attempt in feb?
By resuming HE diet- i am thinking to add one or two more snacks and add little more carb.
Add snacks Btw bf and lunch & bed time.
i will try my best as am not a freq eater , i find it very hard but with my weight maybe I dont need that much ?
Drinks- v8 &coconut water. I try to drink one a day about 400ml
Milk tea (typhoo brand) 500 ml & black tea (lipton brand) 500ml - Everyday . One in the morning and one in the evening
Diets consists of one or 2 eggs a day. Meat or fish with more veggies for lunch & dinner. Try to add some fruits whenever I can ( banana , apple, berries and oranges). I try including the following- avocado, peanut buttter, dates, pineapple, nuts like pistachios, cashew, badam, , spinach, mashroom, carrot, cucumber, zucchini, broccoli, beetroot, cabbage and cauliflower. Most veggies are cooked with tea spoon of coconut oil. Try include full fat milk with cereal for bf or snack times everyday.
When I had my 2nd daughter - i was around 59-60kg. Now I am about 68ish. Last year this time i was around 60/61. I was at 74ish when I started to cut down.
Overall- what do you feel about my sway and when would be best month to attempt?

Green tea can delay ovulation but not if you only had it a couple times. I suspect it's just one of those kooky things that happens when swaying.

I would try to have you hold steady on weight and try in January. I don't think you need to add in more carbs, just keep doing what you're doing. I don't think you should add in snacks unless you are feeling hungry between meals. It sounds to me like you're already getting enough food and eating more won't help if you are already eating the amount you need!
Personally, I think you should continue eating the diet you're eating, keep taking your supps and exercising, and see if you hold steady on weight. If more comes off, then ~maybe~ you could add in ONE snack but no more than that. Use fruit and veg and nuts for the carbs in your protein plus carbs, no need to add any more carbs than that.
You're doing GREAT! keep up the good work.

I was little unwell last few days, mainly on and off headache. So I didn't do any workout for about 8-10 days now. I am little worried, if it will be a problem. My fertile week in attempt month will be around last week of January.

Thanks Atomic. Yes, I am slowly back to routine. I haven't lost any weight or gained so that's a plus i guess.
I have been watching my ovulation very close this month. I suddenly got different result today, which seems like peak. What do you think? Does it mean I am in peak? And I will ovulate soon like next 12 hours?
My temp in ff didn't predict my ovulation yet though.
Today is CD15. So if this was my attempt month ( planned for January) , how will be my pattern?
We bd on CD12 last.. will it be.. then CD14, cd15, cd16 ( maybe 2 attempts?) . I am not sure which day I should consider as O-3, O-2, O-1 etc. According to the images what would you say? Also attached my temp but ovulation is not predicted yet.

Please do not use the apps to detect "high" and "peak". They use a totally different definition of those things than fertility monitors and they are completely inaccurate and misleading.
your CD 15 is your first positive OPK. You need to start attempting right away. You will ovulate 24-36 hours after this first positive OPK.
Jazmin
December 30th, 2020, 10:26 PM
Oh ok. So this means a positive O!. I was trying to figure out what is positive means using the stripes as i haven't used this one for my prev pregnancies.
Yeah true, apps read it wrong at times, the numbers can change if the picture is little brighter etc so not very accurate. But it helps me to look back how my previous tests were like and how dark it was, when I got positive in prev cycle etc, so I can throw away the strips in the bin.
My past cycles weren't this dark though - it was fainted lines and confusing.
My attempt is planned for next month, hopefully It will be the same dark line in next month too. This month, i was just trying to ensure what I thought was correct . Thank you so much for checking atomic.
[emoji846]
Just one thing- so until i see positive OPK.. i planned to do every 2-4 days, once it is positive like the above- so in this cycle CD15, i was trying to figure out , what we referCD15 as? O, 1-O? Or O-2? .. do i bd today, tomorrow and next day (CD15,cd16,d17). Do you recommend to add more than one bd in any of these days?

December 31st, 2020, 12:25 PM
Yes, as long as the line is as dark or darker than the test line that is a positive OPK, and you will O about 24-36 hours after.
it's fine to use the apps as a record of what happened. Just do not go off the "high" and "peak" readings they use as they are not using the correct way those terms are meant to be used in natural family planning methods.
Can you post another version of your chart for me to look at?? I need to see the rest of the temp pattern to tell you when O was. I am not sure the OPK coincide with your temps accurately.

Yes, on CD 16 midnight (2am) it was positive. CD17 (afternoon)- negative. I should have done one in cd16 afternoon or evening but i was out and reached home late and sleepy.
This is what I see after today's temp. So does it mean i ovulated on CD16, later sometimes.

Hi Atomic.
Here I am , confused with another month about ovulation !! Lol.
We couldn't attempt this month as DH had to travel the same week i was meant to ovulate so I didn't want to miss the chances of attempt.
I have been in the supps and sway since Dec. if i attempt next month (feb 3rd around) , I hope it wont make me swaying for too long.
This month, I used clear blue as well with my cheap strips, but I couldn't get a smily face at all. Its been empty circle for all the test I did from CD8.
I am temping as well. Do you think I must have ovulated on CD14? The temp was down and looking at cheap strip tests?
I dont know why clear blue didnt find a surge! Here is my test pictures an temp chart so far.

Updated temp chart. Do you think I will ovulate this late? I just wonder as I have been ovulating around CD13- CD 16.. and now I've gone pass cd22. Is it possible? My expected period is next week.
I feel like i have cramps today but i have been having it on and off all this cycle but I haven't noticed much EW mucus yet which I always get during ovulation. I will be testing soon as i get home and i will update you if the cramp meant anything.

yes, you can and all but certainly will ovulate still. Your period will come later because your ovulation is later. It is not at all unusual to ovulate even late as CD 35 or beyond that.
Jazmin
February 5th, 2021, 07:15 AM
Atomic. Thanks so much. You made me feel so much better. I started to worry about ovulation but guess what.. I ended up getting a positive result when I tested as soon as I got back home yesterday!
It was positive on clear blue ( the solid smile) and also in the cheap sticks. I will continue to test with sticks and take temps. I had really bad shooting pains but on both side or in the middle I couldn't really tell!
Oh ok ..i wouldn't expect AF next week then, probably its the week after.
Review before my attempt in few weeks:
I take the following
fishoil
Probiotic
Multivitamin
Folic
Drinks:
V8, coconut water (every now and then) and tea everyday
I try eat almost everything whenever I can. The only thing i dont eat as much as I planned is oats or any cereal in milk. I kinda have it once or twice a week. I just cant eat it [emoji853]more than that. Instead i am having stir fried mushroom in butter with spinach.. bit of baked beans etc.. ( some times with a small sausage or scrambled egg) or a toast with avocado and a boiled egg etc. I will try and add some more cereal or oats to my diet if that will helps in this cycle.
I gained 1.5kg weight, which was one reason I really wanted to attempt this month but it would have been stressful not knowing what was happening with my ovulation and little glad it didn't happen.
Workout: i am doing 30 minutes beginner weight lift or the indoor walk for 30 minutes- every other day.( it started to be 15 /20 minutes this recent days because of time issue with home school etc
So I was thinking to ask you..
Is there anything I should add or remove ?
what's best? Workout every other day for 30 minutes or everyday for about 15/20 minutes?
Is chicken sausage/ meat ball 2 times a week with baked beans ok??
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sausage and meatballs with baked beans is fine!
When it comes to your workout pattern I want you to do whichever option works better for you. My gut instinct says that every other day is likely best because you'll have time to recover, but I find when I don't exercise daily I have a harder time sticking with it. use your best judgement.
Are you having some protein with the spinach and mushrooms?
Jazmin
February 8th, 2021, 02:32 PM
Ok. Thank you atomic.
Protein mostly in the morning is egg. Is that alright. I eat 1 or 2 egg every day.
Some odd days beef or lamb if there are any left over.
Ok. I will stick with 30 mins every other day.

I eat a banana/orange/ other fruits if there
OR
nuts / some dried fruits 2-4 nos ( figs/prunes/ apricot)- maybe this is every other say
Some salad for dinner or some chips (small portions)
I drink v8 juice and coconut juice, i dont drink fruit juices that much, maybe once a week.

My understanding is to bd and release inside after AF. Continue that every 2 days until opk? Or is it every 3 days ? Or mix of 2 or 3 days ? What do you recommend?
I have also plan to have cough syrup. I guess it is after my AF ended until Ovulation. Is that correct? Or shall I start now?

I would keep going with regular unprotected sex. It doesn't need to be a specific number of days. It can be anywhere from 2-4 days or so. You're just trying to avoid long abstains and many days of sex in a row.
Most people do the guaifenesin from 5 days before O thru 3 days after. But it's really not that exacting.
I am fine with you only using Preseed with the fertile window attempts (and even then only when you need it.)

Hi atomic.
This is my BD pattern so far. Today cd15
If i end up ovulating like last month around cd 23.. do you think it is still ok to carry on every 2 days ? Or will it make the sperm count low as it will be many attempts?
As you can see we did bd on cd8, cd 10, cd12 and cd14 so far.
I really hope i ovulated soon but just wondered what would be the case if it pushed little further like last month.
I am finding it very hard with not knowing my ovulation day even after many trial months [emoji20]

Every 2 days is ideal for sperm. It won't reduce sperm count.
I would keep going till positive OPK and then have the three attempts if you can. If yo'uve already had an attempt in the fertile window you can have 2 attempts instead. Then I'd probably hit it with one more attempt just in case of delayed ovulation.

Hi Atomic,
Looks like I am done with my first attempt this cycle or almost done.
I couldn't bd on cd15 as you recommended. DH had headache and he slept early but I hope we still managed to cover the high chances for a boy. Can you please let me know what you think?
So we did as the following:
CD14, cd16, cd 17 , cd 18.
I am not sure if I ovulated on cd16, if that's the case maybe i missed my O-1 [emoji17]
But all I know is I started getting EWCM on cd 16 and mild pain on the right side at night and we did that night. However my ovulation tester wasn't darker than control line when i tested that night.
Next morning cd 17 i had opk smily face in the morning and evening. Also more ovulation pain on the right side mainly after 2pm.
Cd18 it shows negative on both stick and clearblue.
What do you think about my pattern ?
And What would you recommend to do next few days. Shall we do bd on cd 19 too (tomorrow) Or skip cd19 and bd 20 ?
Here is my tester pictures if you like to see.

Let's go ahead and have sex CD 19 and 20 if you can just in case of delayed O. The rate at which the OPK go negative doesn't mean you have already Oed and given the timing I think it's best if we get a couple more in.

Atomic. The chart picked up ovulation as cd18 and it make sense as i had ovulation pain badly on cd17 and also +ve OPK was on cd 17. What do you think?
We bd yesterday as well. Can we skip today as I feel a bit worried about UTI from continues bd but if it best to BD today as well we both are up for it.
We did as the following.
Cd8, cd10, cd12, cd14, cd16, cd17,cd18,cd19,cd20.
Cd8 cant count probably as it was pull out but we still continued the pattern.

Hi Atomic,
So here I am with an update of my attempt.
Today is dpo15 / cd33
I had some faint positive for some of my first morning urine test from dpo10-dpo 14 but it was BFN for all evening test. It could be evap line too.. as it was vv faint.
I am only 3 days late with AF. My ovulation was on cd18.
Do you think it is just that my AF is late and the chance for pregnancy is v low at this point.
I am thinking maybe my AF is delayed but if I ovulated on cd18 , how late I can be?

Your period can't be delayed unless ovulation is delayed (or you're pregnant). Think back, is there any way you could have ovulated later than CD 18?
Jazmin
March 22nd, 2021, 10:50 AM
I cant be sure but I tested few more days and the test line faded away to negative .
my bbt chart was also indicating ovulation was over. I really thought i ovulated Cd18.
Bbt chart attached- If this helps.

Yeah, I agree it really does look like you ovulated that day, but I'm assuming it must have been a couple days later? Does that seem possible?
Jazmin
March 22nd, 2021, 11:07 AM
I never thought i ovulated late. if i ovulated later , would it be cd25? But i never suspected.
If that's the case then we didn't have that many attempts around that day [emoji17].
I tested ovulation only until CD20 or 21 then stopped. Once i saw temp was high and also ovulation was negative, i assumed my ovulation was defo on cd18. Especially with the +ve test, ewcm.. cramp.. it all added up to be cd18.
If cd25 was the O day then getting -ve today make sense as it will be dpo8 today .
But if cd18 was the day- do you think I might be pregnant but home tests aren't picking it up? Is that possible?

March 22nd, 2021, 01:31 PM
Yeah. It is really strange how my ovulation day ended up so confusing. Lol it felt so certain at that time otherwise i would have continued testing
We did bd until cd 20 but not on cd21 i was too tired and almost fell like uti so skipped.
I will wait few more days but I feel AF is close.
I hope it was cd18 otherwise it wasn't a good attempt around O [emoji20] or hopefully AF arrive for a better attempt.
I just have one more cycle ..as ramadan is coming up. Which means I will have to skip months.
I may get one more attempt before ramadan (depends when af comes and when i ovulate) - but if i enter into fasting on my fertile week- can i still attempt? Or just skip for fasting month and get back to sway once fasting was done?

Atomic.. you were right!! AF is here.
I am confused how I ovulated on CD21 when everything was pointing to cd18. Or do you think maybe i suddenly had 15 days long luteal phase? I had 12 days in previous months but is that possible?
We did bd until cd20, but still didn't end up pregnant. Anything I can do better or different for next cycle ?
Do you think I should add something to help conceive like coq10? Or Is it too late for coming up cycle when CD1 today?
Also wonder if you think its ok to still attempt if my o day end up around the first days of fasting? I looked at the calendar and it looks like my cd21 would be first day of ramadan. Or cd22

It's not likely you had a 15 day LP. Much likelier you ovulated later.
But given that you BD till CD 20 it probably just wasn't the month.
Coq10 is fine to add but it is not a magic bullet. It really doesn't do anything.
Yes, it's fine to try in that case. The fasting would not start till you have Oed, most likely. There's no certainty you'd still O CD 21 - could very easily be sooner!

Hi Atomic. Is this positive OPK ?
I am on CD14
I did have some cramp early morning from left side but I wasn't sure.
Last time we did BD was cd11, and we were meant to bd yesterday CD13 but we couldn't as there were few unexpected visitors and left really late.
Is it ok to bd today if it positive? Did we miss out 3 attempts?
I still have some cramp on the left side. Also I didn't think my ovulation is this early this cycle ! I didn't even start my guaifenesin[emoji17]
Update: I also checked with clear blue and got a smily face.

Yes that's positive!!
You can't tell what side you're ovulating on from where you feel O pains. You develop eggs on both sides so you can't tell which side will release the egg, and the pains can happen before, during, and after O.
I would just try to get in as many attempts as possible, today, tomorrow, and then even the folowing day if at all possible.

Lol Ssoo true!!. Apps are incorrect. The app pick up random numbers for the same test strips too..
I dont follow the app to find my ovulation but i use it to keep pictures to see all in one screen as a record. The numbers are not accurate at all
I did another test at night today (cd14) and it is very positive. So we did 2nd bd late night .. hope that's ok.
So it is CD 11, CD14 am cd14pm and planning CD15 , cd16. Does this sounds ok?

Fasting ends around 12th May.. i will start new cycle around 19th may.. so do you think I skip the cycle after fast ended.. .. then attempt in june cycle? Would that be enough to recover from fasting month? Thats around 6 weeks between fast ended and june ovulation week.

If you're able to keep eating pretty good around your fasting, then I would give it just one cycle. If you weren't (and it's hard at this time of year with the longer days) you may want to do the full 6 weeks.
Since you're thinking it will BE six weeks from the time you stop fasting, then yes I'd try then.

Fasting routine is like this - we wake up around 4:30am and have like a early bf or late dinner sort of food.
Mostly oats with some nuts and few drops of honey. Half chopped banana snd any other fruit like strawberries. a cup of tea
Then breaking fast- around 8pm. Some carb food with meat curry (beef, lamb, chicken) or veg curry with non veg on the side.
A milk shake ( dates, banana, peanut butter and badam). An egg, tea.
So skipping the snacks and lunch but the fasting is not short time here. What do you think atomic?

Hi Atomic,
I had a long gap for different reasons one after the other from attempts.. and now I am trying to get back on track as I am back in the country.
My weight remain the same as in march - when I attempt 2/3 cycle and didn’t conceive (this is 8/9 kg heavier than when i had my girl 2). I stopped the supplements for a while but now starting everything slowly.
I am walking on treadmill for about 45 minutes 1 hour. is that bad?
Should I loose some weight?
Now, I have been trying to add cereal into my bf.
is cheerios ok? what is ideal for a boy diet?
most of them i checked have sugar in it so I was wondering.
we will start attempt in dec onwards , hopefully, as now we added our supplements slowly.

I would just try to hold steady on weight. If a little sneaks off, no biggie, but just try to stay where you are.
I would limit the treadmill to 5 days a week. You should also be lifting weights for at least 15 minutes a day 5 days a week if you can. Don't do these back to back, have a couple hours between them, during which you eat a snack or a meal. And if at all possible, I would try to make two of the days of weights on a different day than the treadmill (this puts you exercising every day, but it will mean you exercise less on two of the days)
Cheerios is fine, but any cereal that is healthy and that you like is great. I would not eat things that are sugary, and I would avoid things that are very low nutrient like corn flakes and rice krispies, they are basically sugar themselves since they're just refined carbs with nothing else going on. There is a difference between an unhealthy sugar cereal (like cocoa puffs or fruit loops) and something like granola or raisin bran, which may have a bit of sugar but are still healthy options.
GREAT! FXFXFX and tons of blue dust headed your way!

yes it will be 5 days a week treadmills.. I will add in some weight workouts in other 2 days. I was actually doing well with weight work out and 2 days indoor walk.. but now something happened to my shoulder or upper arm muscles on the side I got covid vaccination. The pain hasn’t gone away and its been few weeks now.
I didn’t want to wait for it to go away to start our attempts. so I thought treadmills or other walks to start off some exercise and slowly add in some weight workouts . I guess 15 minutes of work out would be ok. so that is 5 days 15 minutes weight workout. is that correct?
ok . I will ensure I choose the healthy type of cereal. :)
DH is currently walking for 30-40 minutes and he do light workout for 15 - 20 minutes for about 5 days a week too.

Oh gosh I'm sorry to hear that - just work your legs, then, when you can. If it keeps up you might want to talk to your doc about that, sometimes they can give you a steroid shot to help alleviate the inflammation. It's probably what is called SIRVA from the person who gave you the shot not putting it in quite the right spot, but there's also something called "covid arm" from the vaccine, tho usually that comes with a rash. Either way there may be a treatment that will enable you to get back to normal activities sooner.
Perfect, fine to go ahead and add in weights over the course of time now. Yes, only 15 minutes is enough to see some good changes with weights!! And that way you are much less likely to overdo it.
You guys are doing great! Keep it up!

oh don't worry a bit about that, it's very common. I have one too and I have four boys.
I would spend part of the time on your back, and part on your stomach. If you want to lay a while on either side, or both sides, that's fine too. In most cases back and stomach are more than sufficient but it doesn't hurt anything to roll over a couple times.

I can't say why - have you recently dropped any supplements you were taking, or changed your eating habits, or cut back on alcohol?
Many of us with all boys have relatively light periods naturally (in fact, I often see people with all girls having periods that are terribly long) My period is normally only three days long and I got my boys that way. when I got my daughter it did get lighter - barely there! - but we've seen plenty of people who see drastic changes in their cycles and get the opposite gender of what the theory says they "should." I have a lot of blue swayers who have 10 day periods that normalize to 5-7 days or even less with the HE Diet. This is likely caused by a lack of certain nutrients that then they start getting enough of on the diet.

cramps was there for like an hour and it did go away. today is CD 7 and period stopped completely. usually i have spotting until cd 6.. but this time it stopped like day 4. If they are able to simply fix the issue with antibiotics I'd go ahead and try unless you have not been able to eat for many days. Take the painkillers as needed, honestly don't think those sway much. Of course, if you'll live 1000 lifetimes of regret if you try this month and it's a girl, best to wait, but remember you never know, next month something else will come up, there is never an ideal month.
If they end up taking the tooth out, I would wait the month out. A couple years back I had to have a major dental surgery like that and it was BRUTAL. I was shocked at how physically rough it was.

thank you.
we didn’t bd for last three days. today is 4th day and am close to my ovulation. cd 13 today. I didn’t have my supplements yesterday and today. food I didn’t starve. i ate to keep me going with painkillers.
no, tooth was not removed. prescribed an antibiotic.
should we carry on after BD today? or 4 days gap close to ovulation isn’t good?

Four days is fine for blue. Just do your best. I would have more attempts from now on though because you will likely still ovulate on time if youve been eating normally.

we ended up not trying this cycle Atomic [emoji29]. I was still in pain the first two days with antibiotics and painkillers - so didn’t feel like BD and thought to give my body time to come out of infection and feel better mentally. hoping to try next cycle in January. i am little sad about missing this cycle but maybe that’s what meant to be.

thank you atomic. I am recovered and feeling better.
I sometimes uses arrowroot powder mixed in water and drink it. this is like a home remedy to help me from getting UTIs. i mix about 2 table spoon of powder into 1 litter of water and drink it throughout the day. I also boil barley and drink its water throughout the day at times.
I wonder if these have any benefits or not great for boy sway. this is not everyday drink, only like once a week. i was wondering if arrowroot have any side affects? it has high folate so it could be helpful for fertility? this is pure homemade one as well.

I honestly can't say how it sways since I haven 't seen lots of other people doing it. ANYthing can have unknown side effects when taken to excess. But once a week or so really doesn't seem "to excess" to me, and I'm fine with you continuing that if it is helpful. I would probably not do it every day as we've seen even things we thought were totally benign, like wheatgrass juice, seeming to have some potentially negative effects.

ohh ok. make complete sense. yeah I don’t have it everyday. maybe i will reduce or pause it for now and take it only if required . definitely wont take anything in excessive amount , even good things can harm if taken too much. thanks so much for your reply.
wish you a lovely holiday season and new year . [emoji4]

Hi Atomic,
I have started my attempts. today is cd9. not there at ovulation yet but we started with unprotected.
my temp is acting a bit funny .. i doubt i have mild fever as I have been coughing little bit for the past 2/3 days. little worried about being unwell as we started on attempt.. but i am not so sick, still able to do everyday things etc. did take paracetamol 2/3 times during this week.. for headache. hoping it is ok. didn’t want to skip another month.

We have noticed a pattern where people have a rush of CM 1-3 days before O that then dries up right before O. This is ok - I myself and many others have gotten boys with that pattern. Go for it!!! FXFXFX!

HI atomic,
today when I added my temp.. suddenly my ovulation date moved to CD16. I had bad ovulation pain at mid night of cd 14 or early morning of cd15. My ovulations tests also point toward cd 15 (as the darkest). I dont know what is right but all I know is that if it is cd16 then we had attempts on cd14, cd15, cd16.. and i didnt have a o+1 attempt on cd17. is that still a good attempt for a boy..? it is already done and dusted now but just keep thinking about it since morning. today is CD19. so i did o-2, o -1 and O day if. cd16 was O day.

Ovulation pain does not tell us when ovulation happened. you can have O pains before, during, and after O. Darkness of test (as long as it's POSITIVE) also doesn't mean anything. Can you post your chart or email it to me at atomicsagebrush@gmail.com?
It's totally possible that you Oed CD 16 with positive on CD 15 or CD 14. Those attempts are great! You do not need an O+1 attempt. The only reason I do that is for people who have more like 48 hours between surge and ovulation.
I think your attempts were fab! Huge congrats and blue dust headed your way.

thank you atomic.
please see my temp chart attached above.
you can see on cd7 and 8 i had a spike but i guess those were the days i had mild headache and little cough. initially there was a dotted red line pointing ovulation to cd14 and yesterday it was moved to cd16 with a solid line but i was really thinking cd15 was my ovulation day. we couldn’t bd cd17 or cd13.
thanks a lot.. 2ww waiting feels ssoo long [emoji16]. hoping this is the month and it is a healthy boy [emoji2969] .
