My body rejected a mirena is it likely to reject ivf as well?

Hi dr potter i recently went to have a mirena inserted as im not planning On doing pgd for 18 months but after the ob inserted it my body contracted and it came back out. My ob said it had only happened to him once before I am now going to go on the pill but I am concerned that it could happen with the ivf process?

No that is not likely. I would not worry about it at all. I assume that you have children. If so, this should not be of concern regarding future IVF success. Rejection rates for IUDs are 5-15% so not low.
