Queston for Dr. Potter re: prior c-sections
Hi Dr Potter,
We will be coming to HRC next year (I have already had preliminary discussions with Lori).
My question is does having prior C-sections (2 in my case) affect fertility / implantation? Or will my chances of success be the same if I had not had the C-sections?
I have previously conceived naturally 3 times (first attempt) and am 33 years old. I am looking to come to HRC for GS (girl).
Many thanks and looking forward to meeting with you.
Thanks

I'm not Dr. Potter obviously but I know several people who had successful IVF done after 3 c-sections.
Good luck.

Your fellow responders are correct, having a C-section has no effect on IVF treatment or outcome. It would be the same as a normal pregnancy come time or delivery.
Best,
Dr. P
