DHEA for low testosterone
Hi Dr Potter,
I have had my testosterone/DHEA levels checked recently and they have come back super lower (lower than the lower level of normal) so my GP has put me on 15mg DHEA.
We are looking at doing IVF for GS next year and I was wondering your thoughts on DHEA for low testosterone for someone looking at doing IVF?
Thank you

Hello,
As long as your other parameters are normal, I don’t think it makes much of a difference. It shouldn’t affect your outcome, it’s fine to take the DHEA.
Best of luck,
