    Does having rich parents = better for kids?

    Very interesting but studying a 10 month old and a 2 year old? Kind of young. BUT, I think the two groups they studied are extremes and the "poor" are likely families that live in public housing.

    I think the biggest difference is the exposure to life that the 2 groups get through language. Also, the "wealthy" parents likely have a higher level of education than "poor" in this study which doesn't necessarlity translate to being smarter but day-to-day language in those extremes on the spectrum would be vastly different, I suspect.

    What is it they say? Talking and reading to your kids makes a big difference. Probably accounts for a lot of those findings.
