Help with a climber/jumper out of the crib!
So I now have an 18 mos climber/jumper (out of the crib) years ago I used a crib tent with both boys without any issues. When I went to buy one again I noticed that it has been recalled and no longer sold.
What is everyone doing with these escape artists?
Just to add I've read that transition to a toddler bed is ideal but she's 18 mos I have a special needs 6 yr old insomniac, work full time and I am 4 months pregnant! So you can imagine I just can't pull all nighters coaxing her back to the toddler bed2 Boys 6 & 9 yrs old 6 year old IVF and has NF1 - PGD to test for NF1 and Gender

After being told at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly. Our Christmas gift comes with some health challenges, but I know that we are strong family and will celebrate her!

you could put a baby gate on the door so she can't go too far. I feel your pain though. DS3 has just started doing this but he's 2.
Very blessed with

We did the baby gate with DS2. He was my escape artist too... So we put him in the toddler bed. He would scream when we closed the door (and could eventually reach), so we put a baby gate in the door and it was amazing! He'd get out of bed, but not out of the room.
Just made sure it was very securely baby proofed and he'd eventually go back to bed or sleep on the floor. But no crying like with the closed door.Me: 31 DH: 29 and our family: 2005 2011 2013 2016
DOR at 0.15 AMH, AFC 8, FSH 8.1. Three fresh cycles and two donor embryo FET's we finally got our DD four years later. She completes us in a way I had only dreamed of.

Sleeping bag!! Make sure it's one without studs on the shoulders. My boys would stand up and push upwards to pop the studs and then climb out of their cot. I now use and love Bubbaroo sleeping bags (Australian brand but deliver overseas). IMO I wouldn't try a toddler bed until at least 2! Too hard!!

I second the sleep sack suggestion. My daughter sleeps in one every night and while she doesn't try to climb out of the crib, she can't walk in it at all so I doubt climbing would be successful.

So the sleep sac was a total fail, she takes them right off even bought the non zippered ones off, stripped that one off too! UGH!
The recalled crib tent is nowhere to be found and honestly don't think it would fit the crib I have now because the crib has a high back and it really only fits crib with even sides..
So Googling like crazy and all I found was the crib tent that I would have to order from an Australian company and pay for shipping from Australia??!! Goodness nothing in the whole USA with this product?? Not to mention it's $200 plus shipping from Aus... just great ...Crib Tent- Crib Pop-up Safety Net- Certified SAFE at www.babycribsafetynet.com2 Boys 6 & 9 yrs old 6 year old IVF and has NF1 - PGD to test for NF1 and Gender

Oh my! Well I have not experienced this first hand but I would be inclined to make the transition to a cute toddler bed.
My MIL had this problem with my DH and had to transition him to a toddler bed at 10mo!! He slept much better and no more getting out of bed antics!!
FX and GL to you!! By the way, your daughter is gorgeous!
