Yes I found with my daughter she would just go on and on and on with crying. My boys never did that, I'd ignore them for a minute or two and they'd get happy again. But she really held a grudge!! I mostly did end up comforting her because ignoring her never seemed to work. And with chores I would let her come with me and pretend to do chores too and she liked that. Good luck!

Yes,thats what i usually end up comforting her and leave behind all my chores and i'd always wonder is this right or will she get more clingy.. Gosh i can't even bring her whenever i do chores she doesn't let me touch anything, she want me to sit with her while rubbing her back and hug me like koala Lol.. I still remember one of my neighbour ask me why my daughter was keep crying and asking whether she sick or what and this situation really makes me uncomfortable as i don't want somebody around me felt annoying by sound of crying or screaming toddler..

I think she will grow out of the clinginess in time. I'm not an expert having only just one girl, but it seemed to me that my daughter got less clingy when she felt more secure...so when I did reassure and comfort her, she eventually stopped being so clingy. When I tried to let her cry (like I did with my boys) she seemed to just get more and more clingy all the time!!!
I hope she grows out of this phase very soon for you!

Last night when kids already asleep we sat down chitchatting about this thing and what my husband said exactly same as you atomic, maybe she just feel insecure or just wanted to show love by her way Lol and also when the times has come she will adapt and maybe i am the one who will missed all those clingyness moment so at this moment just let it be and try to keep calm.. Thanks atomic!

Even now that my daughter is a bit older, she seems more insecure than my boys. She is always bringing me notes that say "I love you, but do you love me??" and then she wants me to write back and takes it all very seriously!! So it very well may be she just needs that right now! Sweet girl.
