I agree! I'm not a huge fan of the name Marie anyway, but when DH suggested it, I said the same thing: sounds too close to Ave Maria.

I can't do Ava Rose because my niece is Emma Rose (too similar in my opinion). I like the longer middle names with the shorter first name, too.
