BFP, but now bleeding =(
So I was supposed to get my period on the 25th, no show. Took a test and it was positive, yay! BUT today I had some bleeding. It was light, but my periods are also light. So now I'm worried and stressing. I went in today for a blood draw and they will draw again on Tuesday since it is a holiday weekend. Ugh I hate waiting and wondering. I've never miscarried so new territory for me. Has anyone ever having bleeding and everything still be good with baby???

Don't panic yet. It could just be implantation bleeding or some other harmless bleeding. As long as you're not cramping, it's likely okay. I had bleeding for a week early on with DS3 and thought for sure I was having another miscarriage. He's nearly 8 months old now! Just wait for your beta and go from there.

I don't think I have any cramping, and then I'm like wait what was that, is that a cramp?! grr now I think my mind is playing tricks on me =(. ugh. stupid long weekend and having to wait until Tuesday to do the follow up, plus however many days for results. I'm not optimistic, but still hoping its random.

Yes, I had a 5 day full on "period" and came out of it with a baby 9 months later. It is really common, although nervewracking. Yes isn't it totally obnoxious how things like this always seem to happen over a holiday weekend!?!
and FX for good news.

I had spotting from week 5 through week 7 w/ my first son.. off and on, sometimes brown, sometimes pink, sometimes red. Everything was fine though I had real bleeding off and on for 4 weeks at the beginning of my 3rd tri w/ my 2nd son. He was just fine too That said - I just had spotting at 4 weeks w/ my recent pregnancy and it ended in a miscarriage just before 5 weeks. So - it's one of those things that it can go either way. Your blood tests will probably give you a better indication. I had a blood draw at 4 weeks w/ this recent pregnancy and from that it was pretty clear things were not ok. If you're numbers are good, it may as others said just be implantation bleeding or just some random spotting/bleeding. Best of wishes to you!!!

well, the bleeding is just like a period and I took a test this morning and no line in site =(. Called the doctor and she said it is probably an early miscarriage and that she will look at my numbers from the draw, but I probably do not need another draw next week. I had spotting just before my missed period so I think that was the implantation. so back to trying next month! I was swaying for a girl and was excited to not have to sway anymore, but I guess back at it haha.

It was probably spotting due to your body reducing progesterone. It can sense when the pregnancy isn't quite right and so it has its ways of ending things before they progress too far. Hugest hugs and please let me know if you need anything.
