BFP at 10DPO
Well this is a very unexpected BFP. I had written my February attempt off as my cycles have been doing my head in. I had my latest ever O, at CD18. We ended up with a 3 day cut off as I thought I was O days earlier when I started getting O pains. But then the pains lasted for 4 days, so I was completely confused. I was on the a-gender girl diet sine the 1st of Jan, but was completely slack in the 2WW as thought I had no chance. I thought I must not be very fertile anymore as I am almost 35 and in January we BD the day before and the day of O and got a BFN. I had lost 3.5kg (7lbs), mostly from not eating the huge amount of chocolate I normally do and not drinking alcohol. Oh and I normally eat heaps of meat and cut this out since the 1st of January.
So we BD CD14 (PM) and CD 15 (AM) and that was it! No jellies, no J&D. It was a new moon, but in a boy moon sign when I O (I know you don't believe in it, but I do I am afraid). Would love to be proved wrong!
One question I have...I took a FRER last night (10DPO) and not FMU obviously. Within 1 minute the test line was as dark as the control line. I don't know how many DPO it would have first showed up as that was the first day I tested, but I thought it would have been a faint line at that stage??
Lastly, I took some antiparasitic medicine recently as my boys had intestinal worms (gross sorry, but we live in the tropics and it is common). You are supposed to treat the whole family which we did. I have since read you should not take it while pg, especially in the 1st trimester. So I am cautious as it is such early days yet. I just have to wait and see I guess.
I had zero signs in the 2WW. I only ended up POAS as I usually do at 10DPO and had heaps of tests sitting there doing nothing.
Sorry this is all in bold! I copied and pasted and now I can't seem to change it.
