Yep, this is why we don't guess around here till later on.
Was she super disappointed?? Congrats to her on her new baby boy!

Not disappointed at all, she had no preference and would have been excited either way.
You agree though this is a super girl nub if she was a bit further along?

I would of guessed this is a boy based on the skull 😊 I’m getting quite good at the whole ‘skull theory’ 😂 my third boy as soon as I saw him on the ultrasound screen I was like omg it’s a boy! I could tell so easily by the head and i found out a couple days via blood it was a boy! I should start one of those websites that they charge you $20 for lol. Boys have more points and are angled in the head. Girls are a lot softer and rounded. You can tell this head has a lot of angles even though it’s not the clearest! Always a 50/50 though! Who really knows if it’s true

I wouldn't have guessed on this LOL.
Yes, the nub is flat but I don't guess on nubs till into the late 12th/13th week for this reason.

the skull theory is not accurate because the way the ultrasound tech can focus in on the skull in particular ways that are not reliable, making a boy skull look more softer and out of focus more like a girl one. There's something to it scientifically and my girl's skull was def. different than my boys (I didn't know of the theory at that time and her skull was so different I worried she had Down Syndrome) but it is not a reliable way to guess gender due to the variations in family skull shape and also due to the variations in the ultrasound

With my kids the skull difference was in the shape looking at the top of the head. My boys were egg shaped with the skull narrower in the front than the back. My girls were even and symmetrical.
