Baby Reveal Gone wrong

That poor little boy. I think I did the same exact thing when I found out DD2 was a girl. We didn't have a reveal party or anything, but I threw pretty much that same fit on the way home from my u/s.

Me too, except it was for ds3 :-(

I thought the dad was an ass--- in this both for the sake of the girls and for the boy.

The little boy needed a hug .... Just like I did after a "failed" ig sway .... Made me feel very sorry for the boy, his sisters and the unborn girl who will eventually hear her dad voice his disappointment afm I think my 2 big boys will want a sister as "we've too many boys already", that's what they said about my nephew initially, just after we found out gender, never mentioned it again and love holding him, and looking forward to teaching him boys stuff! Certainly makes me think twice about how my boys interpret my desire for a daughter .... I always emphasis how I would love them to have a sister but they are my life and I love them, and wouldn't want them to be a girl. I'll reinforce it differently from here on in. They'll be told they're perfect and just what I always wanted. And I didn't want them to be anything other than the wonderful sons they are (thinking "aloud" here) xx

Aw this made me tear up too, reminded me of me after DS3's u/s (( I was a puddle of tears (boy...AGAIN!????) <sigh> I feel bad for the little guy cause I've been there, but was it really necessary for the parents to post this for the world to see? How is the new baby girl going to feel one day when she sees this? Ok so if she has a good sense of humor she may laugh at her brother, but to hear her dad say "Yeah that's what I wanted too" or to say he had the same reaction (as his son)? That would really hurt me if I saw a video of my dad saying that about me.
