Mocha, the top shot was what I was pretty sure I saw at 13 weeks. Straight bright white lines, 2 of them, which I was worried because I thought there was supposed to be three lines (duh!)Then they panned to between the legs from below, just for a second and I didn't see anything so I was pretty optimistic at that point.

Also, the tech was calling it "he" at the start of the scan and then "he or she" by the end and I thought that was a much better sign than with Ds 4, where the tech was saying, "I know that really, really looks like a penis, but that can go away, you never know" in a tone that implied she thought it was a snowball's chance in hell of being a girl LOL.

So you're saying that your scan looked a little like mine, then? Way to feed my obsession, atomic!!

Unfortunately here we don't get to watch the u/s monitor during the scan, and they just give a very cursory 'this is the head, this is the heart' kind of tour at the end. I tried desperately to look for a nub during those 2 minutes, but she was too quick. A couple of times I thought I saw some flat lines as she headed towards the legs and feet, but I wasn't sure that's what I was seeing. I know my nub shot looks promising, but I'd feel better if I'd seen some 'live' confirmation that it wasn't a big ole penis I was seeing.
