Yeah, I should do that, lol! My problem though is not being totally sure about when I will O. Last month it was cd15, but it is normally 18-19, and this time I am getting confused by my opk fade-in and second-guessing myself. It is nearly positive today (which is negative, I know) so normally I'd think tomorrow will be positive for sure, but I'm worried that maybe it's not a fade-in but a fade-out and I missed the peak positive! I have never missed a positive before since mine do last for a while, but it would be just my luck if this month I did miss it. I can't take that chance, since we are doing only one attempt at hopefully O-1.
So I have a dilemma: BD tonight and risk it being O-2, or BD tomorrow and risk it being O day itself. Which is better? Or no difference, really?
DS is nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a , but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a , sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs. Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

How often are you testing? I test 4x daily around o to make sure I catch it (have missed it before)

I am now CD2, diet in 2ww wasn't great, was terrible actually, so having to be strict again. Last month we did 1 attempt at + OPK, am now planning April attempt.

I'm sorry your having such a tough time! I don't think I was fully prepared for the transition from 1 to 2 children, was FAR harder, emotional, guilt ridden than I had ever expected! It is a steep learning curve, every day I face new challenges and try to deal with them as best I can, all I can do!
I hope all is well with DS2, don't second guess yourself, what is done is done and you can only do your best with the resources you have at the time.
Anyway, just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you

I would DTD tonight if I were you - I'm pretty sure that your chances of getting pg are higher that way. Good luck.

    Hey everyone!

I have been laying low during this 2ww becuase last month thinking about possible pregnancy was all too consuming. this month, as I haven't felt super great about my chances anyway, I was hoping to distract myself from TTC entirely so the time would just pass by until I can have another chance. Anyway, I'm 8dpo today and until 5dpo had all but counted myself as out. But then in the afternoon of 5dpo, I had a stinging throbbing pain in my lower left uterous area and it came and went for two days and at times was accompanied by mild cramping. I know it could be anything, but it has brought my hopes up for this month... I don't know if that is a good thing or not!

2 lovely boys, sorry that march was not the month for you. FX for April!

    Mathilde, yay for AF!

Niva, what did you decide to do about BDing last night or today? I had a similar question and we BDd on the fade in which I think ended up being about 36 hours before my O. Still wondering whether it worked though.

Well... We did bd last night, though it was more like 1am so technically today. Emily, I agree with you that I'd probably have a better chance of getting pg on o-2 (or even 3, eek!). That, plus DH was not happy about the prospect of continuing CFR-- yesterday was 3x total for him including bd, and he wasn't sure he could keep that pace up another day. He politely told me that he was afraid his "contribution" was maybe a bit too small, hahaha. I assured him that's what we want for a pink swimmer! I also didn't jump and dump this time, which I normally do every time whether we are ttc or not. We shall see.

2lovelyboys: I test twice a day when o gets near, and usually I don't even have to (24hrs apart catches the surge) but yesterday I skipped the morning testing and the second line was nearly positive when I tested in the pm. I still think my true surge will come today, but I couldn't count on being able to BD in time to catch the egg if I was wrong, AND with a proper CFR like we had going for us yesterday.

CAgirl: your signs sound terribly promising! When will you test? Why did you think your chances weren't great -- just the timing?

Mathilde: hope this cycle is more regular, hon!

Coliny: that's good news! Hope you O soon!

Sounds like everyone's cycles are in working order, good good!
Hope you catch that eggie Niva!

I'm off to GP this arvo, looks like I have oral thrush, lovely! My lymph nodes down my neck and in my scalp are really tender, and I have to work tonight! I tried to call in sick and explained how I worked my last two shifts ill, but they laid it on thick saying everyone's been ill, short staffed etc so felt obliged to go in
Really hope nothing happens tonight, ill be useless!

Anyone using RepHresh? Found its really minging! Not liking what it does to me, it dries me up but makes any cm turn all clumpy and dry! Also, how am I supposed to know if I have EwCm using this stuff?!

Thanks, Pixi! Sorry you aren't feeling well and your work is being so unsympathetic. I used rephresh this cycle and last, and it did that for me too! Very yucky. But I could see the ewcm around the nasty clumps. The ewcm will be clear and stretchy, and the rest will be opaque yellow or white. It was pretty gross -- sorry for the tmi! Just hope it did its thing properly.
