Recovery is WORSE this time than either of my emergencies. They got me up to shower this morning & I fainted 3 times & when I came around the 3rd time I had forgotten where I was & that I had ever been pregnant let alone had a baby. However, Felix is lovely & I am rather besotted. My older boys are fascinated with him, they came to meet him yesterday & Eamon asked "Can we keep him mummy? Can he live in our home?" Here's a bit more baby spam because AWWWW! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1431750967.533788.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1431750988.101138.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1431751033.868082.jpg

Wow, what a scary recovery. I hope you're feeling better soon. Did they put a drip in? Such a gorgeous little man and what an adorable comment from your son.

My gender dreaming success arrived safe July 2015.
He is a complete dream come true and an absolutely beautiful little boy.
A huge thank you to Atomic for all her encouragement when I was up against things out of my control and ready to chuck it in. I can never thank you enough. Thank you also to all the other knowledgeable and ever supportive ladies that have helped and encouraged me. I truly believe my dream would not have come true without this site, my boy gender plan and the incredible love and support.

Yes Boysway I lost 950ml blood in surgery, my blood pressure had dropped to 80/50 & my hemoglobin was only 83 so they put a drip in & were also looking at a blood transfusion but I declined because there is a shortage of blood donors here ATM & mine will replenish over the next few days. I would rather leave it for emergency victims.

You poor thing, I thought you must have lost blood. I haemorraged after I had my last child because the labour was so fast. They kept me in the birthing unit overnight and I passed out when the midwife was out of the room while getting myself ready for a shower. I had to have IV fluids through the night and had an unknown amount of blood loss. Make sure they talk to you about upping your iron levels. I was lucky enough to avoid the shots for my iron levels but needed to be on a high dose of iron tablets for 6 months after I had bub.
