The down side, IF baby sticks if that he/she could have some pretty serious birth defects (Looking it up)

Wow! What a rollercoaster for you. What is the drug you're on for exactly? I think you're wise to guard your heart but I hope that you continue to baffle the doctor and beat the odds. Thinking of you xx

Short version: Methotrexate is a cancer drug but is used for many other purposes including being used in ectopic pregnancies and non-surgical abortions. It depletes folic acid reserves and stops cell duplication in rapidly dividing cells (like cancer, or a fetus). After my lapro and D&C they gave it to me, I guess as insurance. To make sure that any ectopic remains would fail (thus potentially saving MY life).

Oh two! Mama, what a rollercoaster. Prayers for protection for your little bean and that s/he grows perfectly if still viable.
I didn't realize they gave methotrexate along with surgery!
I've had no more pain or spotting, so I think the pain was a ligament--my toddler had jumped on me earlier in the day. I can't decide whether to make an appointment with an OB or not. I'm leaning not, at this point.
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
