Sunbunny, I am going through the same thing now too. Ds1 was IUGR (noticed after 30 weeks and had him at 36.5 week). Baby now is measuring small so having ultrasounds every 2 weeks grrr. Good that your doctors are monitoring growth and hopefully she doesn't drop off. Girls just might be smaller in general? I hope!

Wow Pebbles, I've never had this before. Was the birth at 36.5 weeks natural or induced? What implications were there for having that bit earlier? I've accepted it now anyway and will just hope shes had a growth spurt since the last scan. Thanks for sharing your experience xx

I had a very long induction (33 hours). Doctors thought it would end with a csection, but luckily didn't. Baby was totally fine although monitored for 2 days in the NICU. They didn't seem to have concern for lung development prior to delivery (I thought they would give a shot to mature lungs prior to).
My son has health issues (but overcoming them)... who knows why (genetics, delivery, or being IUGR with placenta issues?).
I have been told every 2 weeks for ultrasound measurements gives them an accurate picture of growth. Don't worry...the best thing is being aware and doctors checking often.

Ugh, I'm so uncomfortable! I've been getting Braxton hicks contractions mixed with real ones off and on since 34.5 weeks. Well I'm 36 weeks and have been getting them regularly for the past 5 days. I'm so uncomfortable from them.
The problem is this is how I felt with DS2, but didn't realize I was in labor. Went to the hospital, was checked, nothing. They made walk for 1hr. After 40min of only sciatic pain occurring, I had the nurse check me. I was 6cm, fully effaced, and DS2's head was crowning! WTH!?! I didn't get "truly uncomfortable" until I had to push! Since I'm feeling the same way, I'm worried I'll get into a pickle and end up delivering under less than ideal circumstances!
With DS2, I could have sworn that I was in labor, but apparently I wasn't and didn't realize when I was ! Anyway, I've been uncomfortable all night, it went away for most of the morning from 7am until 11am. Woke up from a nap to horrid cramping and sciatic pain at 12pm. Usually I'm not miserable during the day, just at night when I'm trying to sleep. The baby usually still moves but isn't now. I have a feeling I'm going to be miserable for the next freaking 4 weeks ! This baby better be super cuddly, super cute, and an awesome sleeper !!!
DS1🏼, DS2, DS3 Jan. '16 I'll sway for a DD for my DH!!

How are you feeling now XX? I'm not sure what time it is there for you now. I hope you got some relief. I don't really get Braxton hicks and if I was in your quick labor situation I'd be getting a check up.
I have another growth scan this afternoon. I'll keep you posted xx
