Max- I like knitting, but I have to say in my opinion crocheting is much more fun and easier to teach yourself and you can make things much more quickly crocheting than knitting. Either way though both are fun. I taught myself how to do both about 5 or 6 years ago and I am so glad I did it's so fun. I used to embroider as a kid it was fun as well. I would definitely find something fun to do though otherwise it can get boring quickly on bed rest.

Wow you ladies are so crafty!! How do you embroider? I would love that!! Do you watch YouTube videos to teach yourself how to crochet?
Lola, how exciting!!! That's so soon! I'm so excited for you!
Blue, for what it's worth (and I know I've shared this so many times)....I'm the 3rd of 4 girls. My reason for swaying girl after having two girls already is simply because I want to give my girls the blessing that I have in my sisters. We are so incredibly close, always have been, and our bond grows even stronger over the years as we raise our kids (one sister is here in NYC with me, the others are across the country). To me having same sex children can be one of the biggest blessings for your children as they grow. I also know a lot of boy/girl families that are also very, very close, but wanted to share my perspective in case that brings any comfort at all.

Blue, I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed at having a 4th, and although I'd never say it out loud, if it's another boy I'll feel that the work and effort would be all for nothing. On the flip side, I'll be so happy my boys have each other.
I'm one that always wished for boys. If i had to choose between all boys or all girls, I would've chosen all boys, so I feel like it's wrong for me to complain now. I was raised around mostly women but I'm not close to any of them. Having my boys I've seen brotherly love and I'm convinced it's a boy thing. I know women can be close, I have a best friend and she's from an all-girl family. I just never wanted that for myself. However, I feel like I can handle one girl. But i do feel selfish for wanting that one girl. What if SHE wants a sister? What will I tell her? "It's not all it's cracked up to be?" I feel like a hypocrite for saying boys make awesome brothers but girls can be solo just fine, but that's truly how I feel. Sometimes I think I'm gonna have a boy just because of my inner feelings.
Sorry if all this is offensive to anyone, I think I just get defensive when people see my three boys and assume I'm trying for a girl. Although I've wanted a girl all along, I truly only want one. I wanted many boys, however. So it's nice to hear different thoughts on what makes up our dream families. Hearing some of you say "I want all girls" doesn't offend me because I know you know what it feels like to want all of one gender and I feel understood.

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
