Mommy - you have been so positive, don't lose that!! I'm excited for you.
Mommaxo3 - were your older girls excited this baby is a girl? My oldest is really wanting our 3rd to be a girl but I swayed Blue which lately seems to be just for me!
I'll get 8 weeks paid 100% due to csection, then will take 2 weeks vacation (I get 5 weeks and yes, I'm very thankful and fortunate) and then maybe 2 weeks unpaid if I want the full 12 weeks. I don't want to sound like a terrible mom but I get antsy to go back to work. Get kinda depressed being at home towards the end. But, it's easier to send my babies to daycare/preschool because my husband is the Director there so he's there with them

LOL Ash!!!
Congrats on hearing GIRL Iwant!!!!
Pbn - cute bump. I too have a hard time thinking of Christmas in the summer. Crazy.
mommy - FXd for tomorrow!! Praying this is it. I was SUPER shocked with my BFP and almost panicked since I was totally not expecting it.
4b2p - The US is so so so far behind in maternity care and treating women better after birth. I will take 8 weeks off after birth (I work until I go into labor). I will get paid short term disability (which I pay for) for weeks. With that there is a 2 week period that you have to wait first and use vacation time for if you want to get paid. Then I will get 60% pay for 4 weeks. After that I am on my own. I accumulate 3 weeks of vacation per year, so I will not get paid for the remaining 2 weeks I will take off. I will then return for 8 weeks at half time. It REALLY sucks how women are treated in the US. It is like a punishment for having a baby.
In the past I have had a reg family Dr for giving birth, but my Dr moved away, so this time I chose a midwife clinic. They are associated with the hospital. Here we have to give birth in the hospital unless you don't make it in time. And I have always been made to push laying in the bed. It really is not good. The last time I had a med that made me very lethargic and out of it and I actually gave birth on my side. That was better than on my back. This time I will be as upright as possible since the midwives are for better positioning. We shall see.
AFM - I passed my glucose test!! And all of my blood work is good. We still have no idea why I am itching though. Baby is looking good with a hb of 147. I am now measuring 5.5 weeks ahead instead of the 4 weeks. (34week size at 29weeks). No one knows why I am so big either.

Ash - I know that struggle all too well. Just not worth it. And you would have to get the kids donuts too!
