i understand 100% max, its all consuming and its awful for me being team green this time has, for the first time ever allowed me to enjoy a pregnancy without gender playing a part (ignorance is bliss i guess!) but i am still scared of the possibility of this baby being a boy and thats after having 2 girls in a row!!
i dont think gender desire/disappointment will ever not be a part of pregnancy for me, even if i was to have 10 girls in a row id still want number 11 to be a girl, a big part of me wishes i just didnt care!!

are there any boy names that you like? sometimes finding names or baby clothes or even just a baby toy can help you feel more positive, how have your parents and sisters reacted?

Thanks so much mommy and 4blue. I've gotten him a few things and that definitely temporarily makes me feel better, but it's at night when I wake up and start thinking that's really hard on me. DH is so happy and excited. My sisters are mixed - one thinks it's best that it's a boy so there's no jealousy, etc with him being so much younger (as opposed to one girl being so much younger than her sisters). My other sister that I'm closest with completely understands...she has 3 boys/1 girl and has also always dreamed of having all girls. My mom is amazing and just wishes for healthy, but I know that she also secretly would have loved for one of her daughters to have the same experience we all shared. She has indirectly said that to us all before we had kids. My in laws are ecstatic to have their first grandson. I feel like I'm the only one that worries (probably irrationally) about this poor little guy being an outlier. I know my daughters and DH will love him endlessly, but it's just something that I (not anyone else) and struggling with.

(((Huge Hugs))) Max! My DH was the same way as you with our last 2 boys. He struggled the most with our DS2. It took him 6mo to bond with him . With my DS3, he seemed not quite as bad, although I recently learned it was worse. GD is a beast! I think you’re doing the best thing by not keeping your feelings in. It’s A LOT to process at a time with tons of hormones that don’t help matters any. Good news is, all you have to do is hang in there! You will find your way once he’s here, trust me. My DH said my DS3 being the unique spirit he is, helped him tremendously. I’m hoping and praying that your little guy will do the same and help you too! There is something extra special about child #3- Too many people report this to be just a coincidence.

Just please don’t bottle things in or act a certain way because you worry about others. We are all here for you to lean on!
