Mlka, I don't know why, but I have spent decades dreaming of how my childrens rooms would be decorated, how my house would be decorated, what my kids names would be.... I guess I'm very domesticated...It's almost embarrassing in this day and age, lol. I like to think I still have a wild side. When I was younger, my favorite game was Life, and my favorite part was putting little pink and blue "children" in my car, Lol I'd even name them. I had sooooo many dolls. And I'd sit and make rooms for them with shoe boxes, towels, blankets and bushes, (fort style) lol.
Mommy2apples, It's so bad, I'm a labor and deliver/post partum nurse, and I'm always teaching my patients, (by hospital policy) not to cosleep, yet, I can't imagine not having my son sleeping in my arms! Just have to figure out how to wean him and get him in a bed at least next to my bed before the babies come. Eek!

OK, here's my secret fear ladies. I'm divulging a secret fear of mine. I'm still breastfeeding my 19 month old and he sleeps in my arms in bed. I know I need to wean him and get him at least in a bed next to mine. But I so enjoy the closeness of both, and I'm kind of scared because days go by so quickly, and I get so busy sometimes with our daily activities, and I'm secretly scared I lose that bond he and I have. I love him so much it almost hurts, and what if that fades away once I'm no longer nursing him and sleeping with him in my arms and have more babies! Anyone else feel this way?

Ladies, I have my results!
It’s a healthy girl! I can’t believe it! I had convinced myself I could only have boys. I honestly feel like I’m dreaming. We did the gender reveal for the family and the emotions were high. Happy beyond words! Still can’t believe it!!

Ellirosanne- i think that’s totally normal. I had that same fear with my second and I ended up weaning him when he turned 2. He still sleeps with me and he’s even more cuddly and kissy with me now. I feel like we still have an amazing bond if not even more because now he just wants me for me and not just for food which I feel is an amazing feeling.

Elliosanne we always teach no co sleeping as well, even though we know that most do it regularly or from time to time! We did it out of desperation with our boys, not because we wanted to. Thankfully they were in their own cots by 4-6 months.
I don’t breastfeed or co sleep, and have wonderful bonds with my sons. And who knows, maybe he will wean by then? You’ll still enjoy snuggles and will have plenty of other ways to bond. My almost 2 year old and I rock in the rocking chair every night, and I love it. I’m enjoying every minute of his littleness because my 4 year old is such a ‘big’ boy now.

Hey, thanks Atomic for your reassuring message. I’m feeling a little better health wise although the thrush medication wasn’t helpful at all, I think it actually made things worse…?! Of more...
