heart rate is meaningless. my daughter was the lowest of the 5.
It is NORMAL for babies' hearts to go from 180 range down to the 150 range. That is due to gestation and not gender.

Oh Gafan - so sorry. I hate that you found out before you were ready and I so wish I could have helped this to happen for you.

Thanks, everyone. I saw a healthy heartbeat today. And the SCH may be clearing up, so that is good news. I am less in shock and more ok. A lot to take in at once!

Girls... I'm first going to start with an apology.
I know I completely checked out of here when I found out about ds3 and I am truly sorry to have worried any of you- it was not my intention it was just my only coping strategy unfortunately!
This site was my place of hope and when the hope was gone it was just too painful to come here until I was in a better place mentally. It was selfish of me but I had to do something to ease the pain so I can could carry on for my boys and husband.
I know most of you will understand and if I've upset anyone I really do apologise xxx
I'm doing better. I'm 21 weeks and slowly getting excited to meet our little man. Our 20 week scan was great and he looks just like his big brothers!
Family and friends have been mostly positive with their comments which really helps too.
I am going to go back and read the thread to catch up on you all- I have missed you all!
Congratulations in advance to all of you who have found out they are having their desired gender and heartfelt hugs to those who have not and are dealing with the pain associated with that. I hope I can help you find peace xxx

So glad to hear from you, Kitten! I'm glad you're doing better and I hope it continues to improve for you. I'm also happy your little guy is doing great!
I also understand the GD, I still have bouts of it from time to time. My sway didn't go my way and I'm having my second son in March.
I think it's very admireable you took a step back for you, your well being, and family first! Hope we get to see you around from time to time!

Thank you eighme. I'll definitely be around to see all these special babies make their entrance into the world xx
Congratulations on your little man!
How are you feeling? Have you had your 20 week scan yet? I found that helped me bond with ds3.
I'm sorry your sway didn't work- it's such a tough place to be and I hope you have found a place of peace xx
