Thanks ladies!! Our 2 miracles arrived March 12th after a fairly positive induction. They did ARM around noon followed by the drip to stimulate contractions around 2pm. Had the epidural sited around 4pm when I was approx 4cm but as I lay on my left side with the peanut ball to widen the pelvis all the epidural pooled on that side so my leg was completely dead when I eventually moved from that position after maybe 60-90 mins. They said they could check me and if no progression they'd ring the anaesthetist to come and sort it out as I could feel everything on my right side and everything from the hip up on my left. Lo and behold I was 10cm when they checked. They said they could get the anaesthesist and allowed passive descent for little man but I said we'd just power through. My body began spontaneous pushing around 6.50pm and as the epidural wasn't completely numbing me and was turned down anyway I was able to sit up and bear down. He arrived at 7.18pm weighing 5lb10oz and howling the place down. I got him for a moment before paediatrics took him to check over. She was head down and held in place by a midwife so they double checked with the ultrasound machine and then nudged her into place. She was born in 3 pushes at 7.26pm weighing a teeny 4lb15oz and also howling. Both babas were taken to Special Care overnight for blood sugar monitoring and to allow me to rest, not that I could as I ended up heinously ill after the drugs to contract the uterus which are supposedly standard after a twin delivery. I'm OK now and little man is back with me already. Its all still so surreal but they're here and safe and perfect. I can hardly believe it!

Atomic, this may sound crazy but I’ve been reading about moon phases… I have a ‘red moon cycle’ currently which I didn’t used to have. Meaning my period is coinciding with the full moon. From...
