Greydore I’m so so sorry. How heart breaking and unexpected. I have had 3 miscarriages, they weren’t as far along as yours but I did get pregnant fairly quickly after each of them and both of my rainbow babies are girls. I think a D and C might make it take a little longer to conceive again but I’m not entirely sure. Did they make sure to explain to you that your other option was to wait for the miscarriage to occur naturally? I did need to wait awhile for my 3rd miscarriage to start naturally, but it eventually did, and I didn’t need a D and C. Whatever you decide is 100% ok, sending you big hugs. I’m so sorry.

Thank you for your kind words, and I’m so sorry for your 3 losses. I decided on the d&c because it’s the least traumatic option for me. I don’t think I can handle doing this at home right now. I don’t mind if it impacts my fertility after, right now I don’t want to ttc again. I’m not sure how I will feel in the future but I can’t handle another rough first trimester ending in loss.

Well I am living proof that even with 3 attempts and taking a ton of vitamins...you can still make a baby girl! Baby girl number 4 is on her way.

Well the reveal went well! We took turns throwing the balloons and it worked out so that my youngest popped the pink one!

Greydore,I am so sorry to hear about baby, it is such a devastating heartbreaking time.
I am sure that whatever path you choose, will be the right one. For now, take time to recover physically and give yourself the opportunity to grieve and above all, be kind to yourself.
You don’t have to decide what comes next right here right now. It took me 6 months after my m/c to begin feeling normal enough to consider ttc again.
Sending you so many hugs...xx

Wow congratulations and awesome that you really did the gender reveal for the kids! Looks so very sweet.
Hey, thanks Atomic for your reassuring message. I’m feeling a little better health wise although the thrush medication wasn’t helpful at all, I think it actually made things worse…?! Of more...
