Now in my early 40's still a small glimmer of hope to possibly be blessed with another pink bean, however, more of a fantasy then a deliberate attempt. On coil and not planning anymore. oh honey why? why is jan such a bad month for you..i think it is perfect time for anyone to have a baby..1. your baby will be going to school at a perfect age they will neither be too young neither too old in their class. 2. having a baby in january will be straight after indulging during x mas and then being able to begin a great regime to get your body back into shape before all the holdiday seasons 3. by the easter you and your baby maybe up to having your ever first holiday so you wouldn't have wasted that being Pg or waiting for labour or dealing with all the post labour stresses of a new baby and missing out. 4. you and your baby will be well on the way to be totally settled and ready for an even bigger holiday in the summer holdidays..by then they begn to wean so feeding and all will be easier they may also sit up by then or even crawl (like my son did) so holidaying on the beach would be fab they will love plauing in the sand and all and you can tan yourself without having to constant hold them and they will have a proper routine eat and play in the day and sleep at night...you can enjoy your new fit body in summer clothes you can take baby out and about and enjoy life with all your family...5. you can spent the horrible rainy, cold maybe even snowy early days of jan, feb and march cosying at home with your baby allowing you to bond and this way not waste any good weather....its a perfect excuse not to have to worry how you look and what to wear....cause everyone else is mostly home.....so you don't miss out....on anything really
so its great jan is perfect month for me in so so many ways as you can see....lol
cheer up hun.....it will be great.......Last edited by toomanyboys; May 1st, 2012 at 07:52 AM.

Hi ladies,
I can join in too. I'm due 3rd Jan, but crossing my fingers this baby arrives in Dec, I want a 2012 baby. I think it's funny what you wrote toomanyboys about the positives being born in Jan. I'm in Australia so everything is opposite. Will be middle of hot summer, so no cosying up inside with bubby, and no bikini. We live on the beach too so impossible to take new born to the beach but my other two will want to go, this will be tough. And because our school year runs from Jan - Dec (which no offence but seems so logical compared to your way, lol) baby will be a young one. So all the positive points you made are all negative in the southern hemisphere, lol.
Hope everyone is feeling well. I really don't feel great at all, I have a lot of cramping and excruciating painful stabbing pain on my right side on and off. Also I have a small heart condition and have been getting a lot of heart pain as if I'm having a mini heart attack, mainly at night with palpitations and trouble breathing. I was a gym junkie prior to Le diet so last week I eagerly jumped back into the gym and doing classes, weights etc. so this may be part of the problem, my body spent 4 months idle and now it's feeling the pain of working out. So lots of aches and pains. But no other real symptoms which im kind of concerned about too. Im hoping morning sickness hits me this week just to make me feel better. Never thought id say that! I half expect to see blood whenever I go to the toilet but none yet. Have my first gp app on Tue so will be good to talk to my dr n hopefully get some reassurance.
Glad that there's a thread for us! X

Hi Lala, i remember you getting your bfp and we are days apart our due dates too, sorry about feeling bad, i had the same palpitations when ttc as i think it was due to taking baby aspirin every day,i weaned off so it stopped ,and i do get it when im sleeping a bit now too especially when i get up fast in the night! Its worse if you sleep on the left side i find too,i guess it is your heart working harder to pump blood for the baby i heard my last pregnancy my doctor actually prescribed me baby aspirin because of i needed it to help the blood flow to the uterus, but in your case its good you are getting a check up early if you have heart problems and you are experiencing pain ,thats not good,do you normally have to go to a heart specialist to see if you can deliver naturally? We do here,,or do you have already c section planned because of it?I hope you get some reasurrance on tues then Im going tomorrow for my first scan so im excited and relieved to finally get that and hopefully relax after

Oh and dont worry even if your due date falls in 2013 because it is the lucky year of the dragon until feb 2013 according to chinese calendar to be born under that sign,so very lucky ,if you were worried about 2013 being unlucky?Actually if you believe all that 2012 is a leap year and considered unlucky,so were set being January
