Butterfly, I check throughout most of my pregnancy, too -- I've had such bad bleeding issues with the last two that I always just expected to see it. It's an obsession.

Ladies I have lots of discharge too, always do with my pregnancies. I wear a liner and forget about it. it's harmless until it turns to blood or has a fishy smell--indicating infection.
