I agree with this! Im Thinking that maybe they're so early that they appeared in the same sac, at least that would be a lot less stressful pregnancy.

Thank you - I too am surprised they are identical!
I am not an expert so only going on what the u/s tech said. They share the same sac - would it be possible not to be identical?
    Honest, any thoughts appreciated!

No if they're sharing the same sac they would have to be identical. Here's some info on identical twins in the same sac. Monoamniotic twins - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thanks for your kind words ladies!

I'm looking forward to getting back from holiday and doing some research. Still not sleeping well, laying awake with worry about what's to come.. Also the likely prospect of 4 boys. Such mixed emotions.

Sunflower & 3 boys - how are you getting on? I have been thinking of you both. Hope you are doing better. XX

Thanks Mum23! I appreciate it. I definitely think it is a blessing, regardless of gender - really special.

I'm so sorry your twin pregnancy was not to be, and have fingers crossed that the little bean stays strong and holds on. What a treasure it will be!

Sweet pea- what worthwhile books re twins have you read?
    Thanks again ladies! XX
So sorry, Maple - I'm just seeing this now. I haven't been on these message boards much lately bc I've been so sick.

Anyway, the only book I've read so far on twins is the infamous When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads by Dr. Barbara Luke. It's a really good book (I think I'm going to go back and read it all over again soon). However, I feel the nutrition requirements in her book were difficult to follow, so I just do the best I can.

Sweet baby boy, you are loved and missed more than you will ever know.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wonder what
you would have been like. I love you and miss you so much.
Rest now, my baby, in the loving arms of Jesus.

Biggest shock of our lives - surprise BFP! And it's a GIRL!!!
