Congrats! Seems like we have had a run on clomid twins lately! Since you had 3 mature follicles, I'm a little surprised that they say they are identical though! Maybe not!

I agree with this! Im Thinking that maybe they're so early that they appeared in the same sac, at least that would be a lot less stressful pregnancy.

Thank you - I too am surprised they are identical!
I am not an expert so only going on what the u/s tech said. They share the same sac - would it be possible not to be identical?

Congrats again Maple i keep my fingers crossed for you that they are both healthy babies - unfortunately like sunflower looks like my twin pregnancy wasnt meant to be but am hoping that the 1 still alive stays strong for me. Thanks ladies, apologies for not checking regularly here, I'm on a much needed holiday! If only I could have a decent sleep, I'm so worried about it all. The u/ s tech said identical as they share a sac. I'm no expert, but she was great being a twin herself.

So sorry, Maple - I'm just seeing this now. I haven't been on these message boards much lately bc I've been so sick.

Anyway, the only book I've read so far on twins is the infamous When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets, or Quads by Dr. Barbara Luke. It's a really good book (I think I'm going to go back and read it all over again soon). However, I feel the nutrition requirements in her book were difficult to follow, so I just do the best I can.
