8 days till scan, terrified!!

I have to say I am all about the envelope. It took the pressure off the scan and I felt like I could enjoy it. Then hubby and I opened it at home and it was such a sweet private moment. We got our girl, but I don't regret doing the envelope.

Oooh I hadn't even considered an envelope, I think it's a great idea... Only downside being it means I miss out on being able to ask the scan tech over and over "are you 100% certain?" Haha xxx

You can still ask if they are certain on the gender....just not saying which gender. They could always write down their % of confidence on the piece of paper too.

Less than 24 hours now till my scan tomorrow and I feel sick, I don't even think I want to know anymore!!

Honestly, I'm going to be completely shocked and devastated if I hear boy. As much as I've tried to stay objective I really feel like it's a girl this time. I've been so sick, all the old wives rales point to girl, my DH thinks it's a girl, even my toddler insists it's a sister, I even had a dream I was having a girl. I keep thinking about how much weight I lost, how hard I swayed, how many times I prayed. Surely god will have listened? Last night I realised I actually believe it's a girl, now I'm terrified to be wrong, to have that crushed.

Just wanted to update and say thank you so much for all the support and kindness you've given me. I'm so very very pleased to say the tech told me 100% girl at the scan today!! It's still not sunk in yet! I'm hoping to confirm at my anatomy scan in 3 weeks because I was only measuring 15+5, but the tech said there was no doubt!! Absolutely delighted! Xxxxx
