What special outfits did you buy your new baby boy when you were hoping for a girl?

I have seen many times that Women who had been wanting a daughter so much but got another son often buy their new baby boy a special outfit or new clothes to help celebrate him and get over some of the gender disapointment, even though they have enough boy clothes. I have gone and done this for my twins first Birthday and it felt so good to splash out on them even though we could not really afford it. It certainly did help heal a bit.

Me and some of the other ladies (we were chatting in another thread) thought it would be awesome to have a thread where we can share or even post photos of the clothes we have brought.

These were expensive and I got them custom made and they are such good quality and so cute. I would have rather posted a photo with the boys wearing them but we have yet to rebook their photoshoot and I couldn't wait that long.

Love these. I think with boy clothes they make them so plain sometimes that it takes the fun out of shopping for them. But these are tres cute!!!

Meant to add that I think boy clothes have gotten a LOT cuter lately! I love the RL type preppy stuff on little boys and also all the little critter type stuff that Carters does.

Everytime I come across a website with different boys clothes I add it to my list of favourite boys clothes to check if I need to go shopping since it IS so hard to find really nice boy clothes. Can you tell I love shopping! It's not why I want a girl but would be one of the perks. To make up for my love of pretty things and having no girl to get things for, I have also made sure to treat myself with pretty things every now and then.

Anyway, here is the list, a few are NZ so may not work overseas. I love Etsy and Eternal creation but make sure you avoid the girls sections cos if the boys clothes are that adorable then you can only imagine how much it hurts to look at the girls stuff!
