Three little words
Seems like they sneak up on me when I least expect. Seems like everyone around me has gotten the chance to shout them from the rooftops in an overly cutesy way. Even seeing it online from total strangers gives me that heart drops to stomach feeling and reminds me what I'll most likely never get to say.
"it's a girl!"
Aw, well. Not meant for me, I guess.
Edited to say I have no idea how that big cheese grin emoticon got there.

I know exactly what you mean Hun..... I have no advice, but I can send hugs (((()))) I also try and remind myself that it is just A girl, not MY girl if that makes sense, and whenever I do see that girl, I can just think 'oh she's cute' as I would with any baby, as I have no emotional attachment to that child iykwim... Hope my ramblings have made some sense! Just know that you are not alone xxx

Thank you ladies. It's weird it's just the announcement that gets me more than anything. But only if it's the first baby or a girl after one boy. If it's a girl after 2 or more boys I'm genuinely happy for them.
Most days I'm ok but those 3 words are still a trigger for me. Someone told me my boys picked me to be their mama and I do believe the kids we are meant to have are the kids we will have. Even if we try and get the opposite. I just don't quite know why. Hugs to you both and thanks for listening.

Im good most days as well, just wish my boys weren't so loud/fight but girls can be loud and rough too. Im sure people say Its a boy just as excitedly as Its a girl.
Hope you have a lovely weekend with your family xx
