Hiya, I dieted and swayed for a few months without conceiving, so when I found out our insurance would cover the bulk of IVF due to my “advanced age,” we hopped to it.
I had been on a vegan diet sans vitamins/supplements (save for folate) for over six months when we made the decision, so I immediately a) added back some animal products like eggs, and b) upped my folate and added a prenatal, CoQ10, and inositol. Things moved fast though, so I was only doing/taking all that for three weeks before my egg retrieval, which happened last week. I had 20 eggs retrieved, 13 were mature, 11 fertilized, and I just found out this morning that 9 made it to blastocyst stage. Now the long 2-3 week wait while they get PGT tested and we find out how many euploids we got and how many are girls! Cross your fingers for me!
Me: 37 / DH: 45 // m/c 2014 / non-sway boy 2015 / successful sway girl 2017 / non-sway boy 2020 / High-tech baby girl due in 2023!

What prenatal?
I would not take Ovaboost. It has ingredients in it that I do not believe are acceptably safe (melatonin, I suggest avoiding unless you are doing a frozen transfer and have time to wean off it before you will be pregnant) and additionally, you can end up taking too much of certain things taking both Ovaboost and a prenatal - Vitamin E among other things is not safe when taken in megadoses.

The best way to get a boy is to maximize egg quality and a healthy lifestyle so you get lots of eggs.
Eat a healthy diet with a good amount of protein and healthy fat, but NOT a ketogenic type of diet. You want some healthy carbs in there. Think Protein Power Plan, South Beach, the Zone, those types of diets where there's 40% protein, 30% healthy fat, 30% healthy carbs roughly.
Yes, doing moderate exercise is great for success with IVF.
Unfortunately there are no special supplements that help make more XY embryos, but just take the normal supplements for egg quality and you'll benefit from those by making more eggs, and more eggs means the potential for more boys.

Hey there and welcome!
I did IVF for pink back in 2020 and got six healthy girl embryos! I didn't do anything too crazy to prep. I just took prenatal vitamins with folate (ones without any herbs or crazy high doses of anything) and CoQ10. I also followed a healthy diet similar to the one Atomic noted in the post above. I had at least one serving of whole milk greek yogurt every day (protein is really important) with some fruit in it. I usually had a turkey patty on a salad or with some veggies and quinoa. Dinner varied a lot but almost always a protein, a veggie, and a carb (usually whole grain). I also increased my cals and snacked a couple times a day on things like eggs, nuts/seeds, fruit. I also cut out sugar (except for whole fruits of course). Oh and avocado! I had read a study that eating one a day can increase chances of IVF success so I figured why not.
Don't feel like you have to do everything or take every supplement under the sun. I think just taking a prenatal, taking care of yourself and eating healthy are great steps towards a successful cycle. Just take every step of the process one day at a time. Have all my blue dust and good luck!!
