I know this one is anterior but don't know the gender yet. Mostly I just wanted to say HI LMN7!!! And wish you all the best for your 12 week scan.

OK LMN7, I just started feeling regular kicks @ about 21 weeks and its still very soft, my boys were very hard at this stage, and I felt DS2 at 13 weeks and felt him reguarly kick after 16 weeks. This one worried me for a while because I didn't feel her much until recently...now I feel her all the time, but it's still very soft and gentle movements--that would *maybe* be a posterior placenta?

Auroara, I think the anterior placenta makes it harder to feel the baby? That's what I seem to remember.

I have a posterior one this time, but I have no idea what my placenta was before--no one ever told me.

I have 2 boys. My first had anterior placenta and he was insane in the womb (kicking and punching like crazy!!)...I felt lots of kicks, so can only imagine how he would have felt without the placenta buffer. My second was posterior placenta...and super mellow in the womb with very gentle pushing movements, very very few hard kicks...I often would forget I was even preggers bec he was so quiet. Their womb personalities are exactly who they are as people, DS1 is always on the go, go, go...and DS2 is super easy-going kid. LOL.

I had an anterior placenta with my first 3 and this time -for the first time- a posterior and I am LOVING IT! I started feeling kicks at around 12 weeks and right now at almost 18 weeks I can feel him really strongly. I can even see him kick, my kids love watching my belly! With my first 3 I maybe started feeling them slightly right around now, so I definitley think posterior is great, love the fact I get to experience it with my last baby. Oh, and obviously: no gender related meaning for me anyway, boy boy girl with anterior, boy with posterior. I carry boys in any shape or form ha ha ha...
