    help with B6

Maybe I'm over looking it. I'm trying to find out If I can take b6 to lengthen my LP by taking b6 from O-AF.

I've the links about b6 from what I've read it all says from AF-O.

I'm breastfeeding my 16 month old and last month I had 10 day LP with spotting on 9dpo

Im taking b6 and it is helping me. I had 7 days before and now after a few months I have 10. But I dont stop taking it at o, is it dangerous to take it all month? I have heard that you shouldnt just stop taking b6 as it can cause some problems.

I was having spotting from 9DPO also and the naturopath had put me onto vitex to try and help. After a few months that hadn't worked, so she told me to add Vit B6 as well, 250mg spread out over the day (so you don't pee it all out in the morning). She did not say to take it from AF-O, but all month as she said she uses it with some women to help prevent m/c and that it is also used to help women who suffer from m/s. The first month I added it in I got pg with what I now know is my DD. That is the advice I received anyway. GL with your sway!

You need to take B6 consistently every day of your cycle (BOTH AF-O AND O-AF) for it to work and even then it takes time.
Never stop and start vitamins, it's not good for your health or a developing baby.

If your short LP is caused by breastfeeding, the B6 ~may~ not help because it's the breastfeeding making your cycle short, not truly a B6 deficiency.

    I got a boy taking 100 mg B6 so I don't think it's a great bet for swaying, either.

Oh and unless you are under treatment by a doctor or medical expert, NEVER take more than 150 mg B6. You can cause yourself neurological damage by doing so. 100 or less is much safer still.
