anyways to naturally boost progesterone? or could it be from my cycle going back down again???

Okay so i had 35 days cycles for a while with 0 day on CD 35. last month i had a 31 day cycle......was expecting another 31 day cycyle this month.....af came yesterday cd 28...makes sense now why i got a pos opk from 12-14 i thought my wondfos were playing tricks. anyone i had a few days spotting in the 2 week wait and i have read that could be from lack of progestone/luteal phase defect. is there anything natural that i could do to up my progesterone??

I'm having cycle issues as well. I started AF a week early (short luteal phase) and I O somewhat late, last month it was CD17. I am still nursing my 1 year old, which is why my cycle is messed up. I've been reading about B6 and fish oil to lengthen my luteal phase (atomic also agreed) but I'm not sure about bringing my O sooner. The only thing I've read is Soy Iso but I'm not sure I want to jump on that . . . I also read BRIEFLY about progesterone creme. Haven't done proper research or asked Atomic though.

Spotting in the luteal phase can be from implantation.

Are you taking vitex or saw palmetto? Those two supps can change your O day and cycle length.

If it is implantation spotting (and although we're all hopeful, it's rare), it would happen only once around 7-10DPO. And it should be brown or pink and not bright red.

If your spotting is related to low progesterone you should see other signs too, like a slow rise after O, many dips to or under the coverline in the luteal phase, not much difference in temp before and after O. Extreme PMS symptoms can be a symptom too.

You can try Vitex (AF-O only), it helps regulate hormones. But it can also mess up your cycle. OTC progesterone creams are fairly useless, they have too little active ingredient to do anything. B6 sways blue so you're better off going to your doc and get a progesterone test, that way you can get prescribed prog supps if you need them.

28 day cycle is NORMAL and you do not need to do anything to boost progesterone.

becca is swaying blue - I don't want pink swayers taking B6 unless they really need it or fish oil.

soy iso is a good option but I prefer blue swayers don't stay on it more than a couple months becaue I think it can sway pink and the longer you take it, the more it might sway pink.

I don't love the prog cream because the OTC stuff is not strong enough to do any good anyway and once you start it, if you get BFP you have to stay on it for your entire first trimester without missing any days. If you need prog support, better to see a doctor.
