SUPPLEMENTS!! very confused... need help! what should we be taking for our girl sway?

Please can someone help me? I am very confused about which supplements and the amounts both myself and DH should be taking for our girl sway, if any... I’m not sure they are not all necessary??

I have been doing the LE diet, as best as I can for the past month or so.

Do we need to take the calcium or does this sway boys? I also read some where about calcium citrate? what's the difference?

We have both been taking the below supplements daily for several months:

    • a ‘Calcium/magnesium and vitamin D’ combined tablet
    (calcium 1000mg, magnesium 500mg, vit D 10pg)

    • x3 cranberry tablets (each 253mg total amount = 759mg) (dh only taking x1 daily)

    • B6 (100mg)

    • x3 Folic acid (400 pg = 1200pg)

    Are these amounts correct??
Do we both need to take these??

We are planning our attempt in for 4 weeks, so desperately want to get these sorted out and correct.

DH is not very keen on taking any supplements, but is happy to take some cranberry. What would be the minimum amount for him to take. I was a bit concerned when we tested his ph because it was 9!! So I thought the cranberry might bring it downhat else could help? Sudfed, sprite zero?

We are also planning to take antihistamines (sudafed for dh and benedryl for me) prior to our attempt, so hopefully this will help with dh high ph level.

Thank you so much for any help or advice anyone can give.

on the LE diet you aren't meant to take any nutrient supplements unless you need them for fertility reasons

unless you have a luteal phase defect you can drop the vit B6
you don't need the calcium/mag/vitD ones as those aren't thought to sway pink on here
cranberry lowers pH, but baby aspirin (75mg taken 2-3 times a week) is better for you, your DH can carry on taking the cranberry

the only supplements you should need are folic acid, baby aspirin (or cranberry), and antihistamine, optionally saw palmetto to lower testosterone
and liquorice root (to lower testosterone) and cranberry for your DH

Thank you so much for your brilliant quick replies!

I am happy that I can stop taking the supplements, especially the calcium and magnesium. Will I still be ok for my attempt in a month if I stop them now?

Why do I need to stop taking the cranberry, but my dh can carry on? I think he will want to stop the cal/mag too as he has never been that happy taking it. (will my ph go up without cranberry?)

    Thank you again!

Cranberry adds nutrients (which matters way way more for you than it does for DH) and also it's not safe to take cran after ovulation, and it's also not safe to stop it suddenly. DH does not ovulate so he can take it all month long and does not need to start and stop it.

Aspirin does the same thing as cran without adding nutrients, and you can take it thru your cycle and gradually wean off at BFP.

Thank you for replying again, that's great info about the cranberry. I have now finished taking all my supps, apart from frolic acid. Dh is trying to remember to take 2 tablets a day (total 500mg).

Do you think this is this enough to help the sway?

I am not sure about taking aspirin, is this safe? And what quantity do I take?
