    day after ovulation

hi, i cant find the answer so i thought id start a new thread so please excuse me if its already out there, anyway, here it is; i keep reading that if you conceive after ovulation, you would more likely to get a girl but how is that so,because the egg's there ready for the male sperm(faster ones) to get to so how is it that the theory of 0+12 works?

I think your pH changes at O+12 i.e. to more acid thus stopping the boy sperm?

but if the egg is already there and sperm can live for up to 2 hours in acidic environment, then surely the male ones would reach the egg still?
