Time to spend on the diet
Hi Everyone,
I have been on the dutch diet (which was definitely not LE!!) So I would like to change that, but I just had a mc so haven't been on the diet for 6 weeks.
I started the diet in sept, fell pg in dec, then had a mc in jan. So again missed about 6 weeks. My question is, if i've been eating a girl friendly, veg diet since sept, with a couple of breaks (12 weeks of breaks!) In between, do you think that i would still be in girl mode or easier to get there if I diet for the next 4 months and try again.
Thanks for any advice! I am just feeling very frustrated at the moment!

Totally up to you but I would say six weeks on LE before your first attempt would be sufficient! Recommended time is 12 but you might not get pregnant first cycle anyway. Best of luck and welcome!! Xx

I think 6-8 weeks on the LE should be plenty. Unless you have 4+ boys, then I might go for the full 12 weeks.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1
- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

The longer the better especially if its vastly different from your history of eating style. I went for nearly 9 months on the LE because I wanted to throw every opportunity at my sway that I could. That way at the end I didnt have the well what if I had gone one more month thoughts in my head if it failed.

Oh sorry this one sneaked past me.
I think that coming off the miscarriage and having been on a restrictive diet as long as you have (didn't you say you've been TTC for 12 months off and on??) that you are fine to TTC after 6 weeks.
Bump
Not sure where to ask not TTC
