Help with mid cycle bleeding?
im cd 9 and noticed dark red when I wiped as well as some in the toilet once or twice today. It's not a flow like af but more like stringy red cm (sorry tmi). I just weaned my 14 month old dd and this is my 4th postpartum af. This happened last month too and I O'd 6 days later so I don't think it's that. Any idea of what's going on? Should I call my Dr? Is it my hormones normalizing? I've googled it but can't did any info. I'm nervous this will affect my chances of getting pregnant. Thanks in advance!

It can come from a combo of approaching ovulation and taking fish oil/epo. I'd try dropping EPO and cutting fish oil dose in half and see if that helps.
It is something that happens from time to time, I'd give it a month or two and then talk to a doc just to rule anything like a fibroid out of the picture.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Okay thanks! Since my cycles have just started again, it's kind of hard to know. I did read something that it can be leftover blood from af that is pushed out when you start producing more cm for O. Not sure if it's true but I made me feel better for now. I have an appointment with my Ob in the beginning of October to discuss clomid if I'm not pregnant by then so I'll follow up if it's still happening.

yes, it can happen, also the hormones can soften your cervix and make it bleed a little if it gets injured from BD or even just straining from a hard poo.
