    EWCM on ovulation day

I always have EWCM on ovulation day. how badly can it affect my girl sway? Anyone had ewcm on ovulation and still had girl? (based on every 4days attempt or once attempt on first +opk)

any supplements to take to reduce ewcm?
I have been taking zyrtec and cranberry from AF to O but not helping.

    Hiya,
I don't think cranberry is recommended for the DW. Antihistamines do dry up EWCM but you need some to conceive (according to what I've read). I think it only sways blue if you have gallons of it!

I had tons of EWCM for over a week up to O before I started the LE diet. I have very little now most months, usually just 2-3 days of a small amount. Occasionally I'll still have a lot for a day ir two (like thus month), but it's not common and at this point I've been swaying nso long I probably need more EWCM.

Are you doing the diet? That seems to help the most to dry up CM. Otherwise you might consider taking psuedoephedrine, which I find much more drying than antihistamines. But unless you have a lot of EWCM I wouldn't take anything for it, as you do need some EWCM to get pregnant.

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period

hi maidentomother , yes I have been on LE diet since Jan 2014.
I saw reduced of EWCM as compare when I conceived my boys.

so far, I only have EWCM on Oday and I thought it will favour y sperm.

are there possible to have NO EWCM throughout? I read somewhere that it strong favour x sperm with only CM throughout.

Theoretically it us possible to conceive without any EWCM but I think most of the time when people think they only have creamy CM, it's bc they just have a bit of EWCM right up in the cervix where it is needed, but only notice creamy CM when wiping etc.

There are NO studies showing that X vs Y sperm prefer different types of CM and I highly doubt it's that simple. Having one day of EWCM is not a big deal when swaying pink, and really, you don't want it to take a long time to get pregnant and end being on the diet long term.

Unless you're dripping wet, I wouldn't try to dry up your EWCM and even then, if you're doing the diet 12w in advance and exercise and one attempt, I would be confident in all that personally, as we KNOW those things sways.

You do need EWCM in order to get pregnant. I had some when I conceived my daughter and I got my 4th boy with no visible CM that I ever saw, so I can promise you that it is possible.

If you have been on LE Diet that long then something is VERY VERY VERY wrong. WE need you to stop worrying about stuff like this and start upping odds of conception right away, immediately!!
