    That is how ALL of these things are tested because of the ethical dilemmas involved in fertilizing human eggs and creating embryos that will never be used. So whenever you read any sperm study, always keep in the back of your minds that while these studies are certainly helpful and illuminating, things may work differently inside the body when sperm meets actual human egg.

    Human sperm cannot actually fertilize hamster eggs because the DNA is incompatible, so there is no need to worry about little half-human half hamster hybrids running around out there!
