dedicated atomic fertility diet thread
Thanks so much atomic, do you think I’m doing ok? & on the right track for girl sway?
I don’t track the food I eat just weigh the main stuff like chicken & yoghurt & have come to understand amounts of rice & potato. Didn’t want to get to bogged down in weighing/charting. Maybe I should track it in an app for a few days to get values?
I actually did have some mayo & mustard with my roast chicken & veg last & it was a yummy addition. I also had beans at lunch instead for the last 2 days. Which was a nice Mexican siesta from chicken All your ideas I will give a run, adds interest!
Thanks a million atomic

No that's fine, that's actually what I want you guys to do, is track for a few days and then once you get the general idea, stop tracking since it contributes to swaycession.

Atomic this was my tracking yesterday, I put in all fruit & veg though so protein without that was approx 51grams (23g/100g of chicken x 2 + 5.2g/100g yoghurt)
Is this good?
Fat was 33grams

Ok! Added more mayo last night. Might add some almonds to my yoghurt but then I worry because of protein increase?

Yeah, we may want to find some fat elsewhere like butter, oil for cooking, even avocado (avocado, while we think of it as a blue friendly food, is nice because we can get a lot of fat and cals without any protein!)

Avocado would be yummy! I went over yesterday as I had 2eggs. But also used more mayo, a bit of cheese & some almonds.
I’m using canola oil, is there any other you’d recommend instead?
Thanks atomic

That's what I used when I got my girl!
Soy, corn, safflower, or "vegetable" oils (these are usually blends of soy and corn) also fine.

Oh dear.... Atomic I think Ive gotten things a bit wrong. Trust me!
I have been eating broccoli & sometimes asaragus with dinner. Quite a bit of broccoli actually. But I have just read these are higher nutrient foods, is this a huge deal?
Can I also ask are there better girl months for Australia?
Should my husband, 41, do frequent release? We did for our HT collection and 3 of 4 embryos were girls, he also take OLE
I have 1 round of clomid, I take metformin 3x500mg/day, and have been doing the diet since beginning December so thinking of starting to ttc around March.

Low carb veg like broccoli and asparagus are free and unlimited, you can have as much as you want, no need to count them. We started off thinking we needed to limit or avoid them but over time we've learned that the kind of nutrients in fruits and vegetables don't seem to sway and it's mostly fat, protein, calories, and then fortified foods that matter.
If you have the option between a lower and higher nutrient fruit or veg, then by all means pick the lower nutrient one, if all things are equal. But if you prefer the higher nutrient fruit go with that one instead, still free!
Yes Sept-Nov. are the girl months in Australia. But don't worry about that. I got my girl in boy months and 2 boys in girl months. It's just one little teeny thing.
Hubby keep going with OLE, he can start with FR and if you guys don't conceive in 1-2 months you can drop that and go tor regular release instead. BUT since you only have the one month Clomid I'd be inclined for you to e4d in the month you take the Clomid to boost odds of conception.
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
