OPK question
Yesterday was CD 11 and I took an OPK around 1pm. I usually start doing OPK's on Cd 10 but I missed a day. I was shocked when I got an almost positive at 1 pm on CD 11, since I normally don't O until CD 17. I thought I might be Oing early, so I took another OPK at 10 pm. Very clear negative--barely a test line at all. Today is CD 12 and I took an OPK at 1 pm and it also was a very clear negative. What gives? I was so hoping to O early.... Now I am wondering if I already O'ed, I was sick for a few days and forgot to temp, but thought it was fine b/c I never O that early. now I am wondering if I O'ed really really early (CD9 or 10?) Is that possible? I'd be so bummed if I missed it.

I would keep testing as my opks quite often fade right in, fade out and then fade in again!

Ok this is weird but I wonder if I didn't pee on CD 11 until 1 pm (which would be really strange since i always pee right when I get up) and so there was just a lot of LH in there. Oing on CD 9 or 10 would be really really early. I tend to more agree with the negative tests.

If it's not positive, then it's not positive. LOL!!!
Those tests don't tell you if you Oed or not, they just measure the amount of a hormone in your body that can indicate that O is taking place when it's in a certain concentration. So if it's not IN that concentration, you might get a darker test but if it's not darker than the control line, then the concentration is not high enough and you didn't O. (and sometimes even when it IS darker than the control line, you STILL didn't O!)!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

As Atomic said - you can't have an almost positive with an ovulation test.
If it's almost positive that means it's negative.
Just keep testing, good luck.
