purple sky, i think you were right, bigger/over weight women tend to try to diet and watch what they're eating, therefore they are unconciously eating less calories and less variety of foods.

For me i thought doing the girl diet means no fruits/vegs/salt/high sodium sauces/chili, etc that is alkalinizing but there's a lot of other stuff i have to watch out and i never knew about it. Prior to DS conception i ate salad religiously and was pretty much like a walking "IG ttc boy diet" although i didn't know what swaying was.

I will try to see how I go as I am slowly weaning DS off breastfeeding. It's just that I always have big appetite and i love food so much. The thing that I like from the girl diet, particularly IG diet is that I get to eat more empty carbs (does not mean A LOT)and little fruits/vegs.... which i think it's an easier maintenance for me since I have soooo little time these days. BUt the only problem i have is that i have to eat until i feel FULL then I will stop. Must change this behaviour.

I suspect your protein levels are very high. I did the LE diet and aimed for no more than 40g protein each day and bread, pasta, milk and cheese all seriously eat in to that allowance and you seem to be having lots of all of those. I would carry on with the same foods but measure your portions (at least for a while) to make sure you're not eating too many calories or protein. Good luck!

I also agree with the other ladies about reducing your portions.

I have always been very thin and a sweets junkie and i'm having a hard time with that too.
I have a post about why both bigger ladies and smaller ladies have baby girls and you can find that here.

ALL of swaying may hinge on the fertility factor - if you're optimally fertile you tend to have boys and if your fertility is reduced somewhat, you tend to have girls. Body size can def. affect fertility, both for very large and very small women.
